I obviously, can't follow directions. lol. I used stamps, rub-on's, buttons, embossing folders, ribbon, paint...oh my! Chick Walk by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr grammadee, I love that layout. I commented on it yesterday. I love the square doily. jeremysgirl, great layout. I'm glad you changed things up. That hustle sticker is perfect and so cute.

OK! I finally had a minute to scrap, after getting my much needed printer ink in the mail, today! Here's my LO. I'll post my substitutions below it. 🙂 This plain background was tough for me. I have an entire album scrapped that way from the early 2000's, but haven't scrapped on plain cardstock in years! I moved the photo to the left side, due to the direction the pup was facing in the pic. I ended up using green embossed cardstock for under the pic, because it's the only color I had that would go with the color scheme. I also lightly rubbed black ink over it, so that you could make out the leaves better. I subbed the Bella Blvd plastic paper for the vellum, and tissue paper for the doily. I don't use the computer to journal, and I put the photo too close to the left side to add it there, so I added it in the embellishment cluster on the right. The embellushment cluster on the left ended up further down, instead of at the top, because I wanted the arrow pointing to the pup to be part of the cluster. I also don't own mist, so I used a gel pen to do the edging, and words around the photo cluster. So, I'm sure you didn't need to know all that, you just needed to see the pic. LOL I'm sure it looks nothing like yours, Chinagirl828 , but it sure was fun using your blind LO idea as inspiration! 😁

LisaDV you used a little bit of everything. Great job. So colorful. KikiPea your layout is very striking with the black and white and just a touch of green. I agree with you on the photo placement.

KikiPea I really like the little pop of green and the embossing is a subtle but perfect detail. I can definitely see my original design in your take on it.

Lovely pages, Ladies, and all so different! LisaDV, that is a cute story, and I love the chicken embellishment and the feather. KikiPea, that is such an elegant page for such a funny little quirk. Chinagirl828, this has been really fun! Can't wait to see the original!

Started out really trying to do this challenge but got totally off course. Thought I would let you know I was thinking about you all. That lazy scrapbooker pad has totally ruined me. Then I thought of the" what don't you get thread "and realized I'd done the 1 tiny picture with a ton of product thing. So I threw another tiny picture in the mix.

Started out really trying to do this challenge but got totally off course. That's how I am with most challenges. This is a great layout and I really like the photos in opposite corners.

@elaynef, that is totally lovely! I don't think this looks like the work of a "ruined" scrapbooker! Your clusters are gorgeous. I love how they add depth and flow to tie the too pics together.

These are so fun! So neat seeing how it played out in everyone's mind. Some of you may have already seen mine in the other thread about scrapping last weekend. Monochromatic was very hard for me, lol. I started off pretty good but just kept adding bits of color here and there but I tried to at least keep all the colors 'soft'. I am mainly a pocket scrapper right now so I made a card with the challenge in mind.

love that card, nicolep. I would buy that if you were selling! I'm so bad at cards, I started going to the salvation army to get my cards. (really cheap and not all that old) Have most people stopped sending cards? I just made 10 free Christmas cards at shutterfly. $6 shipping.

Love your card, nicolep! The monochromatic was tough for me, too. Kept wanting to reach for contrasting emphasis pieces. And I love getting photo cards, @elaynef. Yours looks really cool and that's a good price. I started making cards a few years ago. At first it was a real challenge, having to think about every step. But now I find it relaxing, just putting together related items until you like how it looks.

nicolep I really like the muted colour scheme. I saw this on the other thread but did not make the connection to this challenge.

Very nice everyone! What an interesting and challenging challenge Chinagirl828 I wish I'd been able to give it a go, but all of my supplies are packed up because we're in the process of installing new floors.

@elaynef, I love your mixed media layout. The photos in the opposite corners/sides is wonderful. Also that's a lovely photo card. I don't send photo cards, but love getting them. nicolep, love your card. It's so pretty! Chinagirl828, lovely layout. chendra, ooooh, new floors sound exciting. It's also a lot of things being messed up to get them, so lots of positive thoughts coming your way.
