Just going to leave a quick note here saying that if you're unwilling to register an international parcel as lost until 45 days after shipping, you shouldn't wait until mid-October to ship your December Daily stuff out. I just counted and won't be able to have my complaint accepted by the Ali Edwards CS until Monday November 27. Erm. How to put it? I can't possibly make a December Daily album if they replace and ship out my order that very same day. It'll take at least 10 days to get here. Provided everything goes smoothly and not taking into account the increased volume of mail transit during the month of December. Ugh. Sorry. Rant over. Complain in a convo, they shortened the 30 day wait period for domestic parcels for me when I complained that I wouldn’t be able to declare my story kit lost until the next one came out. (I’m not sure if they did it because I said that or because I told them I could literally walk to their warehouse and back from my house in 30 days so that was a ridiculous wait time, ha) worth a shot though.

I've complained in a chat discussion with AE CS already. Was told that it's 45 days for international orders and that the delivery time was dependent on my national postal system (they deliver very quickly but I can't plead my case with that argument). My Inked parcels usually arrive in 10 days, 15 tops. *sigh*

sleepingbooty I know this isn't remotely the same as you've ordered the Paislee Press kit, but do you want items from what I ordered for your December Daily album? Since we're both into minimalism/clean & simple, I think it could work. Plus, you'd get them by Friday at the latest.

This is such a caring community, just going to say it. At the moment, I'm still living in the very/overly optimistic parallel dimension in which my Paislee Press mini kit still somehow makes it to me... If it doesn't, I might resort to begging for a couple of 3x4 December-appropriate cards here and there. Rain check? Until then, I must say: katiejaeger Thanks. I've sent you a message.

Did anyone else get the DD chipboard bundle? I ordered it after it sold out and was apart of the second ordering period. Anyway, it arrived today, along with the green star album (which I love) and I am so disappointed in the chipboard. Don't get me wrong, the chipboard pieces are really cute, but this set is sooooooooo overpriced. I can't believe I got sucked in and I paid $25 for the chipboard set. Ugh.

I did not order it, but feel your pain because I am a sucker for chipboard too. The only reason I did not order it is because I don't even do DD but still managed to fill a box lol

I didn't order it because the price converted to over NZ$30!

I split this chipboard set with a Pea and I am so glad I did not pay full price. It really should have been 2 or even 3 different sets. I will use the pieces of my half that I got, but there is no way I would ever use the other half of stuff. SaveSave

I mentioned in another thread that I was not thrilled with the chipboard bundle, meaning the price for what we received. The items themselves were nice, but not that nice. I started the product play class and while I agree with others that we could have easily scrap lifted the final pages, I enjoyed the time to myself last night and felt like I was spending some good quality time just for me. I am also going to commit to actually sitting down to "play" with the lessons. Planning to go get the 3 inch circle punch today at lunch.

Thanks for the reminder. I have this stamp set and always forget about it. I have the dies from neat and tangled and use them often. I just found the name of this font earlier today to. I didn't realize it was the same one ali used or similar. The font reminds me a lot of some older Technique Tuesday fonts used in word stamps. Some of them might have even been AE designed. 'Favorite Things' is one set in particular (I had to google).

So today was Ali's second installment for her class. She is for sure phoning it in. Honestly? Don't waste your money on this class. Since you can see the layouts everywhere, there is no need to give her your money for it. It just feels so thrown together. In one of todays videos she spent about 10 min embossing a chipboard heart. First she messed up on embossing it so she had to do it again. WTH.

I was wondering if I should sign up, but after seeing this review combined with seeing Ali’s blog post and video on her foundation pages/starting points (looks like she’s trying to rebrand that, but Shimelle already uses the term “starting points” on her blog...hmmm...) I think I made the right decision to skip it. I am not impressed with the pages she shared that were labeled as or obviously from the Product Play class. They look forced and not her style. I love Ali for many things, but she is not known for techniques, and these pages reflect that. They just don’t look authentic to her and are not anything I want to copy either. I really loved her Storytelling with DD class and would definitely recommend that. Guess I’ll save the money I would have spent on this class and buy something at BF.

I will be honest - I really was expecting her to have 'new' ideas of how to use the product. Some of the work shared on the DD fb page is better than what Ali is bringing. It just all seems so thrown together and not thought through. I just expected ..... more. SaveSave

I like the digital file included with Ali's class. I've already printed 5 full page images to minc, paint, sew etc.

I like the half circle but can make my own and save $20 The one that says choose joy? I’m definitely going to pull out my silhouette and scrap lift that. But it’s a basic font and a half circle, I can create it myself. (Bonus, my one little word this year was choose so it’s a perfect scraplift for me.)

sleepingbooty I know you wanted to prep your pages this weekend. If you'd like a few goodies by Saturday, I should send them tomorrow. Let me know! Oh, but tu es un amour... I would have probably taken you up on your offer had I not been swamped by work (good ol' heures sup') the past few days. Un énorme merci for offering some of your stash! Droit au cœur. In the meantime, I've had some good news from Katie who managed to find a partial Paislee Press mini kit and get it sent my way (along with a few extra DD goodies). An early Christmas miracle! Let's hope it doesn't go wandering about the world and disappear on its way to me this time... *crosses fingers* *telepathically communicates with second DD parcel* " No listening to Eminem's Lose Yourself!" Thanks again for unGrinching my December Daily project, katiejaeger !
