I feel kind of disgusted with myself that I panic checked out on stuff without really looking at it. I just knew that the website was on its way out.

I went and got the spinning circle of death. I then just left without looking.

Server's working fine for me. It was so when the sale opened too... There was nothing I needed so I skipped the sale. I hope the website soon works smoothly for everyone though! I guess that 2016 Day In The Life kit may be interesting for some folks at that price.

Took 20 minutes to actually checkout. It might be clearing up now that the rush is over, but it was definitely having major issues. I was able to pick up a few of the past kits I wanted. Not all but I got the Fun kit, which was one of the main ones I wanted.

I didn't set an alarm for 6am since I've now subbed for a year. There's a lot more on sale then I expected. I've filled my cart, but have no plans to check out until the DD products go live to just have 1 order. (Also waiting to see other sales before I commit my craft dollar to Inked) I'll see what survives until Friday. Nothing left that I can't live without.

Went back to see what's left and it's basically down to a few items and digital kits. If you remove all the things that are sold out, you'd be looking at less than 10 things and all digital kits. My biggest complaint, by far, with Inked/AE is that you have to scroll through all the sold out items and wait for them to load. Why they don't remove things as they sell out is just stupid, as it further annoys the shopper to have to hunt for things that are really for sale.
And to add insult to injury, my DD replacement package was transferred to USPS 4 days ago and tracking said it was delivered Saturday and guess what - no package is/was here on Saturday from AE. Just my reliable Amazon purchase from the day before.

I was at the final payment page when I got the spinning circle of death and by the time it finally got done 2 kits had jumped out of my cart and I didn't even realize it until I got my order confirmation.
I don't know why they don't hold things in your cart for longer when they know that this is an issue EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I shouldn't have lost things from my cart on the final payment page!
I did get some stuff though, I didn't even bother with any of the codes though since I knew it would only slow me down.

I grabbed a few things from the sale: Summer embellishment variety pack, summer die cut variety pack, gold acrylic stars, and the Deschutes 8x6 alpha. The $8 price tag on the die cuts and embellishments is a lot better than the original $13 price. $13 for three small packs of die cuts is insane! I think $8 should be the normal price!

I didn't even bother looking because I have a few unused Story Kits I need to use up and am really trying to save my $$. Glad I didn't bother after hearing about all the website issues. So frustrating.

The pony arrived! Yesterday. I gave him water and am sending him back to Bowling Green. He's pretty beat walking all over the midwest, so if you're waiting for a package from the sale, it might be a while....
Of note, the replacement notepad doesn't have a cover. Can deal with that. Happy it arrived before I start notes over Thanksgiving weekend.

I grabbed a few things from Ali's sale. She really thinks highly of herself with the pricing! And of course dummy me forgot to use the free shipping code and I was $3 over. Oh well.

Apologies for the rant that's about to follow: Another moan about international shipping - Bah! I just went to Ali's Christmas Past sale thing, was really excited, have wanted that Emily Ley with the numbers for a while, and the Kelly Purkey kit that I love so much but they've always had weird shipping prices, and I thought that would be finally fixed... plus the JJ album (there were three, but I was there at 20 seconds past the clock with it in my cart), kits were $5 and albums $8 respectively, amazing. Put a few other bits in my cart, total $30 - went to check out. Shipping: $30.13. I started removing things from my cart, and ended up with just one of the $5 kits - They still wanted $12 shipping making it $17, and I couldn't get shipping down on the $8 album to anywhere reasonable before it disappeared. At the DD order period those kits didn't have a shipping cost at all; sigh. I know it's done by weight, but there was a period before hand as well, where AE/CS on Facebook admitted the 2016 kits were lighter on product so lighter to ship than the 2015 ones. GRRR. In the end, just bought a few transparencies - Shipping was still more than the items, but I wanted to know what the fuss is about these transparencies (and how thick they are, so I can make my own!). $3 order - Ha. It's clear that with the free domestic shipping for $35 that's currently being advertised, the Christmas Past Sale is for domestic customers only !

I'm domestic so my shipping wasn't outrageous, but I didn't pick up any of the albums. Earlier this week I wanted to get one of the story albums and the shipping was like $12 within the US, but I ended up just adding enough to get the free shipping. That sucks they don't offer the free shipping for internationals also... but even domestic the shipping on those albums is awful!
As far as the transparencies, I've gotten them in the past and they are super thick, good quality! The only thing I would warn... if you got any of the ones with the gold printing on them, don't put them up against a photo in your album, make sure the gold printing touches a pocket page when the album is closed. I have a photo outside of the pocket protector up against the one that says "the most wonderful time of the year" in my 2016 (or maybe 2015?) album and after a year of sitting wherever the gold words touched the photo the gold got dull. The photo still looks fine, so it didn't ruin that, but the transparency doesn't look that great anymore. Sorry if I'm not explaining it well...

Eeesh, $12 just for shipping an album! I'm glad you were able to benefit from the free shipping Oooh, I would have never know that; Thank you for the heads up! I will be careful for sure. I'm debating the $40 classroom bundle but due to starting with 'Tough' I already have two of the five classes. Ugh, the educational portion is only worth $5 a month (because the digital kits without it are sold at $15) and they already put them up to $8, so I'm essentially paying $40 for $15 worth of new-to-me-content... I really wish I could buy them separately, but then will I always be annoyed there's a gap of 3 classes in my collection? Getting to the end of the line with my patience for AE for sure.

That doesn't seem worth it to me since you already have two... but I guess it's how much you value the class content. Have you looked back at the reveal posts on Ali's blog for the sneaks of her projects from each? That might give you more info to decide if they are worth it. Also I think it depends on if you need the class to get inspired to create. If you won't use the kit without the class inspiration, then it's worth it for that reason. But if you can brainstorm your own list of story ideas off the theme and create without it, then you're probably better saving the $40 for something else!

I picked up a few sets. I have been using them in letterglow on my iphone What? Tell me more- please! What's letterglow? Letterglow is an app available for ios ( I believe that andriod users can use over and possibly some others). Letterglow allows you to use png files on your photos or a blank canvas. I am just learning, but Cathy Z has some video/instructions available. www.cathyzielske.com/2015/06/digital-photoshop-required/I also watched some youtube videos... I am not tech savy but have managed to teach myself.

I have basic knowledge of using layered templates and brushes in Photoshop Elements - would you all recommend Ali's Hybrid workshop? Or is it not worth it?
I know, I'm a little late to the Cyber Monday party...
