The Cricut (older one). Just couldn't get into it (for all the regular reasons) even though I wanted to make my own titles, etc. Spray mists/colors. I just can't plan the color background stuff in advance and wait for it to dry. Those mists are like an embellishment and I want to add them last. I would add the Zutter or Cinch to this list, but I managed to not splurge and buy either. But I still want one! And yet I know it would belong on this list for me if I had one!

My Zutter, complete with a huge supply of album covers and the o-rings in every color they made. Still love the thought of it all but haven't brought myself to actually use it. Duh.

I was just sorting (okay - I was digging ) through a pile of stuff I haven't used in awhile and found a Heidi Swapp fuse tool I have never used. Oops. I've been thinking about trying to make some shaker cards, so maybe I will finally put it to use. I've really been wanting to buy a Cinch. But reading this thread has me re-thinking that purchase. It may end up joining the fuse in the deep dark recesses of my "things I rarely, if ever, use" pile. LOL

And hey - don't hate on my Sew Easy! I love that thing! I don't stitch very often (boy pages just don't seem to call for it much), but I like doing it and for someone who doesn't own a sewing machine (and wouldn't know how to use it even if she did) it's easier than trying to punch the holes yourself. Gotta defend my little buddy. This is me word for word! I just used my Sew Easy 2 nights ago. Of course, I only use two of the sets- just the most basic ones. I have a bunch of fancy Sew Easy sets that never made it out of the package. (Flowers, Vines, Scallops....)

-2 cricket expression machines -Tim Holtz vagabond -sizzix original dies Do we share the same scrap room? Lol. I believe we all do. I think it's why the SB industry is stalling. We all hit the buying wall and our rooms are filled to capacity with crap we don't even use anymore.

Tons of older tools but then I thought I learned my lesson and don't really buy many now but did but the fuse and haven't used it yet. I keep saying I will.
Back when the original sizzix came out I had to have a few alphas and tons of dies. Most were never used. Also bought sizlet alphas and some dies again rarely used. QK dies and alphas I used more but not enough to justify them. Ironically I now love dies and use them somewhat often.
Bought the original Cricut and Silhouette and hated them both and upgraded to an Expression which I used and upgraded to an Air 2 last year. Tons of carts I never used. Luckily I sold off quite a few as I had never linked them.
Basic grey punch tool thing Tons of kits from QVC back in the day. Would use a few things but got tired of them before I used them up.
I bought a ton of grunge board at Tuesday Morning and barely used any of it.
I have a bind it all and have used it a bit but not that much and it broke the last time I used it so I have to use a clap on it if I want to use it. I still have it since I still have some wires and have used it for school projects.
I have a scoreboard I haven't used much but is nice when I need it. Love my cuttlebug and Xyron sticker makers and have in many sizes. Still have the original CM circle cutters and a few other shapes. I use if I need a circle as they are easy. I tried the culluzle and it just didn't like me. I still use my punches but go in spurts with them. I find I am using ones when I see Shimelle use them lol. Border punches I like and use occasionally. Martha Stuart circle punches I still haven't mastered I need to attempt again and if I can't work them they need to go. Foam stamps I loved but haven't used in years.
So I have tried a lot of things over the years but I guess having been scrapping for more than 20 years that's normal.

I find that Bo Bunny is still one of my favorite lines and I have a ton of it! I just found about 30 sheets of Snowfall while I was cleaning yesterday. It would make gorgeous Christmas cards. No one on my list would know it was old since none of them scrap. Perhaps is you use some newer tools or punches, you could update the look. Ooooh, Christmas cards! Yes! I'm sure there's at least one Christmas line in there! Running off to look... ETA, yes, there's a bunch of stuff from the Noël line (2010 - even older than I thought!). I was looking through it and fantasizing about the beautiful scrapbook pages I would make. Many of the patterns are quite big for cards, but really pretty and (to me) classic. But I know that chances are slim to none that I will actually make scrapbook pages, so I may as well cut them up for cards. I still love the "shabby chic" look that Bo Bunny has always done so well, so the papers still feel relevant and not weirdly dated. Thanks for the great idea! Wow - please post pics of your cards!! I never thought of Bo Bunny for cards....awesome!!!

I stand corrected, I just used Red MS Glitter. I ran my cut backwards thru my Xyron and the put the glitter on top. Out of a whole set, at least one color got almost entirely used!

I bought the case for it and of course the scrappy-psycho in me just HAD to fill all the empty spaces for the heads. So I too, bought all the crazy flower, heart, etc. heads which will NEVER get used. But their colors sure do make my case look pretty, lol.

A lot of things...
I'm working on trying to anticipate which things are going to be in this category so I can choose not to buy them... Things that are fussy, messy, complicated, that take up a lot of space, that need to be plugged in... I'm working on owning my own style and not getting inspired by other people's stuff because that's usually what leads me to get stuff I will only use once.
I could do 80% of my crafting with a good paper cutter, a scoring thingy, white cardstock, and some 6x6" paper and matching die cuts.

So many things 🙈 Collection packs that I’ve never touched, misting stencils that I’ve never used, my Fuse that’s still in the package, my barely used Cuttlebug, most of my stamps have never been used, I could go on & on. Probably my most expensive unused product that comes to mind is my Prisma colored pencil set. I was so excited to get them—I used birthday money. I was going to start coloring in stamps. Never happened—not even once😬 I guess I’m a lazy scrapper. Also, part of the problem is I’ve been scrapbooking for about 20 years, but I’ve had stretches where I kept buying even though I wasn’t scrapping much. When I’d get back into it finally some stuff would still be brand new, but feel pretty dated. Other than December Daily supplies I haven’t bought many scrapbooking supplies the last couple of years. I’m hoping to do a project life style album for 2018 so hopefully that doesn’t make me want to go crazy buying supplies again.

The Cinch. It was used once to bind an old recipe book for my mom. I've considered getting rid of it but I can't bring myself to accept that it's not going to happen.

I would have to say my Tim Holtz marker sprayer thingy. Not sure what that's called. I just had to have it so that I could get an "air-brushed" effect with all of my markers. Yeah, right. That thing is so hard to use that, by the time I get anything out of it, my hand hurts so much that I can't finish what I started. I emailed him about it, and he was pretty snippy with his reply and not very helpful at all. That really turned me off to him. I still buy some of his products, but I'm very wary about new gadgets that he comes out with - especially when he re-invents the wheel, like with this spritzer and the tag maker punch he just released.

Oh, those border punches! lol. I had to have them, collected them, and then never really used them. I wasn't good at lining them up for clean punches. I ended up getting rid of them. I also had to have the crop-o-dile. havne't used it in forever, but still hold onto it!

Oh yes, those border punches. Like most of you, I use 2 or 3. Mine have been breaking one-by-one, and I'm not replacing them. I'm actually giving away a lot of them. I can make similar designs with my Cricut and dies that take up much less space.

Mini punches. Why did I thought I needed all those bitty images I'll never know. I suppose if I embellished a planner they'd come in handy, but . . . .

So many....I think the thing that really bothers me most is the original Cricut. It was a gift, it seemed really complicated, and I don't think I ever bought enough cartridges to really make it worth my while. I have only touched it once or twice. And I have the carrying case as well. I have since got a Silhouette which I use constantly, but I keep telling myself to get out the Cricut just so it isn't a total waste.
I have some vague hope that I will begin to use my Sew Easy at some point (I like stitching on other people's pages, but less so on mine). My Minc is still in the box, but I am very interested in getting it out and using it. The Basic Grey notch tool sits unloved (tried to use it, but I don't really have a use for it). Distress markers for colouring stamps...not so much. The Tim Holtz marker sprayer...also unloved.
I do have a couple of old unloved tools that I hope to dust off in the near future. I am making a travel album, and I want to use my Making Memories Tag maker and rims in some embellishment clusters...I think the look is pretty classic. Also, I recently bought some little corrugated shapes from the last Stampin' Up catalogue...cute but so disappointing...expensive and tiny...made me think about getting out the old Fishers paper crimper.

The bigger sticker maker. I used to love my xyron x but couldn't find it. I bought a bigger one and used it once, did not like it at all. I have an x in several places in my scrap room and in each of my travel bags ( one for stamping, one for scrapbooking)--- I consider them essential!

I've had some tools over the years that sat unused and I sold or gave them away like the QK Revolution, MM tag maker, QK hand press, a couple different sized Zyron makers, and the hot stick gem tool. I go in cycles with hand punches- buying them then getting rid of them when I think I won't be using them then buying some of them again when I find I need a particular one for a project-lol. Those usually are SU punches. Like others have said I've also purchased paper collections/packs that sit unused, I like TH but have rarely used what I have like distress inks, and paper which just take up space. I went through a PL phase but am now stuck with a lot of PL cards even after scrapping events. I'm trying to get much smaller collections.

I need to let him adopt it. Lovely tool but it hurts my hand. I now have other tools that do the same thing. The border punches drive me nuts lining them. I am not talented at it. I am thinking of the suggestions over here of using my dies and e-cutters instead. pherena Oh I love my little punches. I use those all the time. Since they are less than a $1 I don't get upset when one goes to punch heaven. I am really upset when my $20 punch dies. I am a planner girl. I make doll house miniatures and use them in nail art. As a scrapbooker I wouldn't use them either.

I loved using it and used it all the time!
