Anyone else willing to admit an addiction to the Investigation Discovery channel? I don't watch all the shows, but do find myself tuning in more often than is necessary. (My husband says it's ok as long as I don't take notes!) My favorite is "Deadly Women" and my least favorite is anything Paula Zahn is involved in. (She just ddddrrrraaaaagggggs everything out - it's maddening.) Of course I enjoy watching Joe Kenda. I love a dry sense of humor. Anybody else?

I love the ID Channel! My DH used to joke about being concerned that I watch it so much so I told him I was doing "research" LOL. Now thatswhat we call the channel.

It's my go-to channel after I catch one or two of my regular network/cable shows. I like 'em all...but then, I'm a mystery/murder/cop show freak! I like Forensic Files too.

Huge ID fan here! I love The Perfect Murder, Disappeared, Motives and Murders: Cracking the Case, Murder Comes to Town, See No Evil, Web of Lies, Obsession: Dark Desires and more. I also love Forensic Files and would love to see all of the episodes available on Amazon Video instead of "collections" from the seasons.

ID channel is my default channel. When nothing else is on there is always something watchable on ID. I love Joe Kenda! I'd tune in just to listen to him tell stories. I love his well, well, well! So funny.
ETA: Or is it My, My, My? Anyway he is entertaining.

ME! Forensic Files is my go to "go to sleep" show. The narrator's voice is just so even and calm.
DH calls it Murder Channel and claims he hates it, but it takes him all of 3 seconds to get sucked into a show.

Yes! The only show I don't like is the new one with the lady that has a lisp. Makes me insane. ETA: Maria Elena Salinas

Total ID addict sittin' right here! I love that channel...especially Kenda (the real Kenda, not Carl Marino...him I could live without).
I really like Disappeared, Gone, Swamp Murders and some of the Evil Lives Here episodes.

OMG! He only told you not to take notes because he's plotting to kill you! GET OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW! Lol I go in spurts. I haven't been watching much recently. My favorite show is Web of Lies. A more grown-up version of Catfish

I'm totally into these shows. What is it about our fascination with this sick sh!t? I find that when I'm at work and we have the patients that have these ridiculous stories about how "that got there," I go in full-on investigator mode. My dh hates these types of shows but I get totally sucked in. I love Deadly Women, Kenda, Killer Instinct.... and some I don't even know the name of. I can't help it!

I love it. Disappeared was my favorite, but I really like most of the shows and will sit and have it on in the background for hours.

True crime is a huge genre for women 18-45, I'm more surprised when I meet a woman who isn't into at least one true crime type show, or Law & Order at the very least.

My husband calls it the murder-death-kill channel and it drives him nuts that when nothing is on, that is my default channel.

I love it. Disappeared was my favorite, but I really like most of the shows and will sit and have it on in the background for hours. Do you like podcasts? If so, you might like The Vanished. Missing people isn't really my biggest interest (having had a close family member go missing), but even so I'm really enjoying this podcast. It's very well done.

I LOVE that channel! My husband calls it the "Wives With Knives" channel... no matter what show is on. I love the mystery and watching how they catch people. I'm a sucker for true crime.

My dh and i are big fans of "investigative murder porn", (sorry, a south park reference! 😃). Deadly women was incredible and was also fascinated by disappeared. Ive loved most all of the id shows, as well as forensic files too. True crime is intriguing to me; that probably days a lot about me! 😀😂

Me me me! Like some of you,my dh shakes his head and remarks "murder shows again"? Pretty much all summer my TV has been on MSNBC,CNN and ID channels. Love Lt.Joe.
Did you guys know they even have a ID-con for us addicts? It's like Comic Con but with all the ID shows celebrities. I think it was in NY this year. I'd love to go to one.

Part of the interest for me is that I work in the legal field - not in criminal law, however. And there is something satisfying about the bad guy (or woman) getting caught and paying for their crimes. I think it's made me more cautious, too, when I'm home alone, and that's not a bad thing.

Add me to the list of ID addicts. haha! This is my default channel, too. I love Joe Kenda but it cracks me up that the actor that plays him looks much younger than the real Joe Kenda.

I love that channel too! My favorite is A Crime to Remember and I wish they would do more episodes! I do like Paula Zahn and Deadly Women. Older Joe Kenda bothers me. What is his catchphrase? I get annoyed hearing it! Is it well, well, well? Young Joe Kenda though.... I like more of the 20/20, Dateline, 48 Hours kind of series. I don't like the shows where they do terrible reenactments. I cannot watch any of the shows unless they have been recorded. Many shows you can watch the first 10-20 minutes and skip to the last 10 because of all the recaps. ETA: I like Snapped. It's on a couple of different channels though. I should have read the responses! I wasn't the only pea who thought it was well, well, well.

ME! Forensic Files is my go to "go to sleep" show. The narrator's voice is just so even and calm. ya... me too! i recently heard the same guy narrate a nature documentary... kinda cool to hear him talk about something else. dh says he hates forensic files but falls asleep in 27 seconds so i don't think it bothers him that much.
