so you like the champagne coloured one, too? It is sold out online but maybe theyβll have it in the store. I will check anyway. I want to see it regardless. There are a few things I want from Sephora on the weekend. I hope they have a good selection. I got all 3 when I was in Nyc but I mostly use the one. I love them I thought the rose gold one would be too pink and I asked the cast member to apply it and we'll see and it did look really nice. I will get the champagne one sometime in the future. For now the one I got I am really pleased with. I got the marula oil today and a little goes a long way. I got the smaller sized bottle of it. You just need like 2-3 drops and you are good. When I saw BFF yesterday she was OMG you got so tanned. I was as I didn't plan to get that much sun and I used sunscreen religiously. Oh well...live and learn.

I'm looking at placing an online order at Elf. Are there any must haves I need to check out? Does anyone have any awesome favorites to share? I tried the Elf brush cleaner and it was just awful. It didn't clean my blush brush at all. I ended up having to throw out my brush because I couldn't get the smell out. It's super fragrant and not pleasant. So save your $4 on that one. I do like the Elf eyeshadow brushes. I am sure it is too late, but I love all things ELF too...I love the face scrub (it uses crushed walnut shells rather than the silicon beads so it is MUCH better for the environment, love the face primer (the white one) the bb cream (plenty of coverage for me) and a few other things. My new one is the gel melt cleaner. Takes off ever single bit of make up and leaves my face feeling pretty good.

Anyone ever tried the SmartFX Smartbrow from Dermstore? I love the product, though it doesn't seem to last as long as I would like, and when I went to order tonight, it lists for $61 per tube. I think I must have always caught it on sale when I've purchased it before. And unless I find it on sale again, I'll need to find an alternative. But I don't want to have to do that. Did I mention I love it?

Legacy Girl I need to try that. Have you seen that meme- One eyebrow be like Gucci and the other one be like Walmart? Well-that's me-lol.

I commented in the "what surprises you about growing older" thread last week that I feel like I'm fading into myself. One thing that really seems to help is filling in my seriously thinning eyebrows. I used to do it on special occasions, but now it's pretty much every day. Looks like Ulta may have a similar product online for around $22, so I may check it out, though the reviews are mixed.

Mine have definitely thinned and the "Walmart" one has about 3 hairs in the middle that want to stick straight up. My daughter is a cosmetologist and she colors mine when she does my hair. It makes the biggest difference- just brightens up my whole face. What is the Ulta product?

I got my eyebrows threaded today. It wasn't that bad and they didn't bleed at all so I was really surprised. I went to this gal in my local Mom's group. I am in love with the work she did. She trimmed them, too and they look uniform now. It's so cool!

If you are a Platinum member at Ulta - I got a mailer today with a coupon for 20% one time use coupon code. Includes Prestige brands. I got an email this morning with this coupon. I didn't check my mail yesterday, so not sure about the flyer. I have called them and asked them to send me emails and they never do. I am getting frustrated with Ulta! But saving money at least because without a coupon, I won't buy the prestige brand. I will call again tomorrow. Thanks for letting us know mom!

I *love* this thread! Iβve been MIA since starting nursing school, and I really miss the peasβ€οΈ So Iβm really loving LβOrΓ©al True Match Lumi foundation. I use Tarte some, and EstΓ©e Lauder double wear for special occasions, but this Lumi is light and easy for daily use! Lumi Iβve been using Ole Henrikson for my skincare, love the Truth Serum, and I love the Creme as well! Lots of vitamin c. Serum Creme The creme has no SPF, but I have an allergy to SPF so itβs good for me! I absolutely love Hourglass palettes, Iβm using this one just to dust over my cheeks and eyelids. Hourglass eta: you can use them all over the face, I love diffuse light all over, just not the more highlighty ones. βΊοΈ How is school going? My daughter is a freshman nursing major this year and she likes it!

2 questions... L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara users- I've use this 3-4 times and it thickens my lashes so fast and then it starts to clump. I mean like 2 swipes and woah... Will it dry out more as I use it? It gets rave reviews.
Do you use a setting spray on your face? Mine forehead gets oily and I'm trying to stay away from caking the powder on...

I use urban decay setting spray, it completely changes how much make up looks i think Iβd rather go out with no make up on than with make up with no setting spray, my sister feels the same itβs a must have for both of us, I have dry skin and she has oily, urban decay have different setting sprays I think for different skin types

I personally don't find setting sprays to really control oil. What I can recommend is a damp beauty blender, pressed into loose powder, then pressed onto your face. Brush away the excess powder and then set with a setting spray. I also recommend powder UNDER foundation for staying power and oil control.

So I tried LipSense liquid lipsticks this past week. They are an epic fail. I found that I would be better off spraying hairspray into my mouth than using these. The colour was good but they made my lips look so tiny. The lipstick burns when it goes on and the colour may last but it's very gimicky rather than nice. I wanted to see what they would be like and I give them an really true two thumbs down. They suck.

YES-- the more I use it, the better it gets. I only use it on the top lashes though. It smudges on the bottom lashes, so I use a Maybelline waterproof mascara there. The one in the gold tube. Lash Paradise is the first mascara I've used IN DECADES that is black. I've been using black/brown because I felt the black looked too stark. I guess my preferences have changed now, because I'm loving the way the Paradise mascara looks.

If anyone wants to shop, I have a 20% off your first purchase at Colour Pop. (Full disclosure this is a referal link. I get $10 when a friend uses my link). I love their lippie sticks. They are my favorite easy lip products. I also love their super shock shadows. They are a cream formula, but they are not too wet. I love all their shimmer shades for a pop of color in the middle of the eye lid! Their satin liquid lips are really good too. They pretty much dry down matte but are extremely comfortable. I also recently purchased the Golden State of Mind pallett and love it too. The run sales often, so if you sign up for their email list you get the lowdown on the latest sales. 20% off link

Eye shadow colors-- I feel like the popular reds and pinks make me look sick, or like I've been crying.
I do like purples, though-- makes my green irises look greener.
What are your 'go to' eye shadow colors?

What are your 'go to' eye shadow colors? Iβm totally boring and stick mostly to nudes. I like to do Browns in the crease and then either a champagne, gold, or light pink on the lid. Red looks awesome on some people, just not me.

Ran into Ulta today to pick up some Moisture Surge & they had the new shape tape foundation. I have to say - I was sorta surprised. I dont think it will be a cult favorite, at all. The packaging was the biggest problem. They used the same tube and doe foot applicator (slightly larger than the concealer). You will never be able to get to the bottom of the foundation. The formula is also really thick I had planned on buying some, but now that I've seen it, I will pass.
