I would have to look at her printable sheet but I think it is a timeless aha product. Do you know if you can buy it at a store or if it's only online? If you can get it at a store, I need to try it! I bought a lot of the CeraVe and Olay Microsculpting serum. She recommend a lotion called Alpha for legs. I did order that online at Ulta because they don't sell it in stores. There was a cheap ($5 or $6) retin lotion that I also bought for arms and legs. Don't notice a difference, but I guess it takes months. And I need to be consistent with using them. To see a reduction in wrinkles takes months for sure. To see your skin texture totally change and feel silky smooth takes a couple of weeks. Your skin needs to peel off and it will. It doesn't hurt and it doesn't look *that bad* but it will peel in places. You will get the smoothest skin of your life. My skin's texture is just amazing. I also use it on the back of my hands and it is supposed to prevent age spots and things. I don't have any now so I am trying it out. I have to say the Rx Retin-A is amazing. You can do a gradual introduction to it like 2x week, 3x week and then every other night then every night. It reduces any discomfort you might get. I will start back on it next Thursday. I love how my skin looks and feels on it.

I wish Retin A wasn't so expensive (and require a prescription) in the US.

I mean I will gladly pay it ($30 US) I mean that's not bad at all. Oh I have heard equally good things about Differen so I wouldn't hesitate to try it. I had the cream and it doesn't absorb into your face at all. That was very frustrating. The gel has alcohol in it and it dissolves in just seconds so you have to be quick with it. I was using generic tretoin and I am using the name brand Retin A now and it's a higher Rx strength but it is awesome. I mean it's gone in just seconds and it doesn't sting or anything. I have no idea how much it costs in the US. You have to pay for a doctor visit don't you? I got my GP to prescribe it and it was free. The Rx is not covered by medical because it's cosmetic but the doctor visit was. If you ever get the chance to come up here I would go to a walk-in clinic, tell them you are a cash patient and pay the $50 and get the Rx. I mean it's so good!

Today is day 3 and I have an update. What I have in my face is Dysport which is another botulism product like Botox. My lines on my forehead are gone and so are my crowβs feet. I sent a picture to bff and she was impressed. It will last 2-3 months but this is so worth it to me! I will go every 3 months I guess. It has takeb years off my face!

I can't get mascara off easily either. Or make up in general. I use Clinique Take the Day Off (special sale at Ulta in the fall), then Cetaphil, then toner. I still have too much make up on when I use the toner. Do you work in the cosmetic industry? You are very knowledgeable about make up. I am clueless, but watching you tube videos and learning! No I don't work in the industry. Pain is the driving factor to finding something that will work. If you see my eyelids and under my eyes after I have tried to get off mascara, you would see why I have to use something gentle like water. Everything I try burns. Now, I did try Canesten anti-chaffing powder and that is just silicone and it takes everything off fairly painlessly. I bought a couple of tubes in the US because no where sells it near me at all. I have called and looked. I would get a tube of it and try it to see if it works. It really helped me a lot. I will just keep ordering on Amazon and buying when I am in the US. Or Vancouver for that matter. None of my drug stores here sell it. I don't get it because the same chains are in Vancouver as are on the Island and we can't get it nor can they order it in. I have IT Take Bye Bye Makeup and it works well, but it's very, very drying on my skin. I think it works great for everything (except mascara) and it does a good job. My skin feels so tight when I use it and that bothers my face. I have to really moisturize a lot after it. It works well, though. Mascara is only Canesten. Really? I have really good results with the bye bye makeup. It is the only thing I have found that removes my mascara completely. Along with the microfiber cloth. I used a sample of Farmacy meltaway makeup remover balm last night and that worked well also.

Did you ever try Rodan and Fields? I searched for threads last night and saw that you were thinking about being a consultant. I've been wanting to try their eye cream since nothing else seems to be working for me, and the lash boost would be great as well. A friend sells it and there is a pretty good special going on right now so I think I might get it. The prices per item aren't horrible with this sale (although still $$) but it's a lot to spend at once.

I couldn't sell anything to anyone at a home party. I was looking for a consultant. If you like it I would like to know what their skin care is like. It's higher end for sure. I have heard excellent things about it, though.

Question: do you remember the IT Cosmetics QVC TSV that came out a little while ago? I think it had 5 pieces in the set and it was the Today's Special Value. Did anyone get that? I was looking for it on the website and it seems to have vanished. This is recent, though as I saw it there not that long ago. It had all skincare things in it. It looked really good I thought.
Philosophy has a supersize vitamin C kit on QVC as well. I am thinking about getting it. I haven't decided yet but I am thinking about it. I have heard Vit C is great for your skin. I have something I use now but I don't like it that much. It was expensive and not that good. Does anyone use Philosophy Vitamin C? Like it? Love it? Indifferent?

I went back to my dermatologist to follow up after the Botox. She said she would put in a bit more around my eyes and raise my left eyebrow a little bit.I was cool with that. We are doing that on Thursday.
They gave me some samples of sunscreen to try out. The one I use is not really working as I came home from Hawaii with a tan. I didn't burn at all but oh man I was brown. That is sitting in the shade, wearing a hat, with SPF50 and everything. Anyway my skin is almost pale again which I am happy about.
I also bought a serum from SkinMedica because it's supposed to transform my skin. We will see. It wasn't cheap by any means and I am still using Vitamins C+E on my skin. I heard from an esthetician that SkinMedica is a great brand and he thought it was expensive but worth it. I will try this and see if I like it or not.
I got a new Rx for Retin A. I got the gel form and it has a pump. That made me really happy! It's a gel formulation which I love. It does have alcohol in it. I have no problem with this because I know Retin A will dry out my skin as it is used for acne as well as skin tone and vitality. Getting old is expensive I am learning. I am on the strongest form of Retin A now and I will start by using it 3x week. I am sure I will peel all over again but that's not an issue. I know it will happen and all will be good. I just have to get to that point.
My horrible lip has cleared up and it took a few days but it is better. I put neosporin on it religiously about 6x day to clear it up. It's fine now. The photos from last week were dreadful. We are good to go.
All is good here. Just need to stay calm until tomorrow. We have a very busy day. I am making the bride's day as magical for her as I can. I am very excited for her and hope she enjoys her day as much as I am enjoying making it ready for her. I am so excited for both of them! I can't wait. I am so excited for them both! I mean my baby is getting married. I will post photos after the fact. I think I am pretty calm most of the time. Klonopin is helping with that a lot. I want to make sure everything is good for them. I also don't want to be over bearing. I am giving her a way out to do whatever she wants to do as well if she doesn't feel like doing something. I am going to go show her the tiara now. (I have one I bought but never wore. It's quite pretty. We will see if she likes it. If not she doesn't have to wear it. I told her not to wear it if she didn't love it.)

My Rodan and Fields order should be here tomorrow. I'm hoping it is all it's cracked up to be. I'm most interested in the eye cream, since my under eyes are my main concern at this point. And I really need to go on a beauty product spending freeze. I am currently using Ole Hendrickson truth serum, which has vitamin c. I use it under my moisturizer in the morning. I like it. I recently went down to the lowest strength of retin-a. I had too much peeling with the higher dose. I don't think it is uncommon to peel right away but I don't think that is supposed to happen consistently. I never got to a point of not peeling with that dose but don't peel at all with this one. Best wishes for the wedding!

I think I will do a gradual use of it like 3x week and then work up from there. I asked for the gel again because it soaks in so quickly. It also has a pump so I am loving that idea. My new Rx for Retin A cost $91 Canadian which is a LOT. I was surprised about that. The other tube at the lower strength was a lot less than this. Just something to think about. I am excited to try it. I have a lot on my mind right now and it feels like I am thinking about a million things all at once. I have to go make dinner soon, but I would rather just sit here on my computer and have dinner invent itself. I guess I should get started.

It's inline with Rodan & Fields maybe a bit more but I don't think so. They promised me I would love it. I will see. I am getting a touch up of Botox on Thursday this week and then I will be done until April or May. Probably April. They told me I will get used to it and won't need it as often so I am encouraged by that. Not having to do it as often is a good thing. I was really worried it would hurt. It was so pain free I didn't know she was doing it. I loved that part of it. I wish I had started 10 years ago. That would have been smart. Anyway live and learn. I know better now and will continue to do it until I can't.

The serums look good but are $$$ and since I already have retin-A I didn't think I needed the serum at this time. Plus, I have so much other stuff that I need to use. My kit will let me see if the R and F is any better than anything else. If so, I may order other products later as I use up what I have.

Delta Dawn I forgot to post about your It cosmetics question. I did buy the 5 piece set awhile back and am on autoship. I have two of them unopened, unfortunately. I use the products, but am still using up what I had before ordering. I need to skip the next shipment. ETA that there are two five piece sets that I have gotten recently. One has more makeup, the other skincare with some makeup. I think they are both sold out right now.

I am not the only person who does this but I use all sorts of different things on my face on different days. They all do different things and all work great. One day it's one thing. Another day is another. I try to use Retin A 5-6 times a week. I exfoliate most days but not all. I use Vitamins C and E everyday. I use some sort of serum every day. (I have a couple). I use Latisse every single day without fail. I am back using hydroquinone every day now. (The derm today thought that was a really good idea as it will lighten my freckles. YAY!!!) I use marula oil under my eyes for moisture and it really helps the circles under them. They are awful and purple. That helps. As soon as I put it on they improve with some hydration. I also have a very expensive eye cream and I haven't decided if I love it or not. It's pretty strong but but maybe I like it. The new serum I got today is kind of exciting. I hope I love it. It will last me at least a year so that's a good thing. I have to go wash my hair in a few minutes. I need dirty hair for tomorrow to get it put up. There is a lot of stuff I should be doing tonight but it isn't happening. I will try though. I would like to just do my skincare and go to bed to be honest. I guess that isn't happening. Please tell me all your impressions of Rodan & Fields. I want to know what you think of each product. You like the toner because...? You hate the eye cream because...? You love the cleanser because...? I want details. I want to see if it's better or worse than what I am using. I want to know these things. It's an investment in yourself. No one says "I should wait to start my skincare later". Now is the best time to start if you haven't started already which we have. I wish you good luck and I really hope it agrees with your face (because I want it to agree with mine, too )

Anyone with dry skin - Iβve been using the Mario Badescu seaweed night cream and itβs incredible. Itβs not too heavy for my twenty-something skin but it moisturises through all the layers. I wake up feeling like a goddess! Highly recommend it.

I got the set from QVC. I'm a huge fan of the cc foundation. Mine had eye cream, moisturizer, face wash, foundation brush, and compact foundation. I tried it out because I wanted to see if I'd like the eye cream & face wash. I already liked the moisturizer. Everything else was a bonus. Honestly haven't seen any improvement with the eye cream (after 6 or 7 weeks), not sure I love the face wash but it's fine and hate the compact foundation. The compact foundations is way way too thick for me. I look like I'm wearing a ton of makeup. Could be I am not in the right color and/or user error but I don't like it at all. The foundation brush is very nice. Going to go back to my normal IT CC foundation (which I go back to every time so I don't know why I think I need to keep trying something else). I really like IT products overall. the QVC release was a great value. I'm not sorry I ordered but glad it was a one time purchase for me.

I just got home but will check what was in them in the morning.

I just used the highest strength of Retin A it's 0.14%. It is a gel and it is so nice on my skin. I am doing it every other night and my skin feels dry and smooth. I can't tell you how much I love it!
Tomorrow is a Botox fix up and then I am done for months. Yay! I am using a new serum on my skin and I love it. It's not cheap but OMG my skin feels so great on it so far! I give it a 10/10 so far!

I just got a set of First Aid Beauty products from QVC. I wanted to try the ultra repair cream. After 2 days, I love the serum and the cream is so so. I didnβt liked the primer moisturizer at all. The make up pads are ok. I have other products I like more. Im going to give the cream a few more days. Iβll return it if I donβt like it and purchase the serum separately.

I got my dad the First Aid Beauty cleanser from Sephora not that long ago. He seems to really like it and it has stopped the redness on his face. (He was using bar soap...). I notice a difference and they recommended it for irritated skin. Seems to work great!

Hi I am really irritated at Sephora and am angry at myself. I looked at my bill after the fact because I really wanted to get out of there fast and get to the hair salon. They used $21 eyelashes on me as well as a $41 lipstick that I had to buy because I was already wearing it. The lip liner was a lot less ($22) which I was happy about but did they pick the most expensive lipstick and lashes in the store or something? I want to say EFF it and return the lipstick and lip liner if she had not listened to me perfectly and found the most amazing shade. I want to be mad at her and yet she found me my new everyday shade. I mean it's perfect. I know this is a first world problem but I have no one to be mad at except NARS for making the perfect thing.

She did get you a pricy lipstick but if she was going for most expensive she would have done Tom Ford or Christian Louboutin.
She also didn't use the absolute most expensive lashes either. Those would have been about $30.
I'm glad you found a shade you love though. And it should last a while, right?

Hi I have a general question for everyone. What do you use for toner? Do you even need toner? I like the idea but I have been using Dior micellar water that you leave on and I think it works at cleanser and toner in one. Should I be doing another step?
Please share your thoughts!

The purpose of toner is to remove residual cleanser so your skin is ready for serum or moisturiser. It canβt really be a 2 in 1 product imo.
