You have evidence that Hillary colluded with a enemy foreign government? I'd like to see that. I, personally, do not have evidence. There are, however, some interesting findings in the Mueller investigation regarding Hillary and the Uranium One deal with Russia. How do you know that Mueller is investigating Hillary?

Yes ma'am. Whatever you say. Mueller isn't investigating the Uranium One business AT ALL. He is part of what's being investigated. One bone leads to another. That's all I'm trying to say.

I did not intend to imply that Mueller was investigating Hillary, only that his investigation has given rise to issues with Hillary, Russia and the Uranium One deal that are now raising some very interesting questions.

Do you seriously not understand the difference? I know the others have said the same thing already, but I’m the one you quoted. Do you need me to explain the difference between oppo research and collusion with a foreign government to you? Otherwise, you can giggle about the whole thing all you like, but it just kind of makes you look foolish. Trust me, I am not 'giggling'. I am both bemused and alarmed at the purposeful blindness and hypocrisy, though. In the end, you may find the ones looking foolish are not going to be who you expect. I'm good with waiting to see how this turns out in the end. I think you're going to be disappointed, though. Hillary Clinton has never been even 10% as dirty as you people always seem to think (hope, pray) she is. I'm wondering if I ought to correct my initial post in this thread, though ... the one you quoted. I thought it went without saying that I didn't mean any illegal methods when I said I didn't care who paid for the dossier. Do you truly think I'd be A-OK with Hillary breaking the law, but still call for Trump's head on a platter if he did the same thing? NO. Based on the behavior of the Republican Congress over the past year, that's more of a Republican thing than a Democratic one.

Yes, the Republicans are trying to get a rise over the (already investigated and nothing found) "issues" with HRC, Russia, and Uranium one deal as deflection, distraction, smoke and mirrors.

And the difference is....? If you don’t or can’t see the problem with colluding with a foreign government, including the fact that it is illegal, then I don’t know what to say to you. Where is the proof that the Trump/campaign colluded with Russia? Here we are 11 months later, and there has been no proof, leaked or otherwise, that proves any such thing. Collusion and Impeach 45 has been tossed around since about the day after the election. When Donnie, Jr. met with those Russians he said it was for opposition research (yes I'm aware he changed his story after,). The dems and media were screaming collusion and Impeach 45 again. Now that it looks like the DNC paid for it, the narrative has changed and it's just good ole' fashioned research, they all do it, what's the big deal? From this article in The Wall Stree Journal"The Fusion story has been known since Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) sent a heavily-footnoted letter to the Justice Department on March 31, 2017 demanding for his Judiciary Committee all relevant documents on Fusion GPS, the company that managed the Steele dossier against then-candidate Donald Trump. Grassley writes to justify his demand for documents that: “The issue is of particular concern to the Committee given that when Fusion GPS reportedly was acting as an unregistered agent of Russian interests, it appears to have been simultaneously overseeing the creation of the unsubstantiated dossier of allegations of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians.” (Emphasis added.) And then this is why who exactly paid for it just might matter: "The Fusion-Steele matter is explosive because it suggests that Russia’s most damaging intervention in the 2016 campaign may have been its creation of the Steele Dossier, remarkably paid for by the Clinton campaign! If so, the Clinton campaign (not Trump) was the prime sponsor of Russia’s intervention in the 2016 election." I'd like to know how did this dossier get started by a Republican and then passed on to the DNC? There seems to be some collusion going on there.

Even Snopes (updated less than a week ago) says there isn't any evidence to the allegations! Here's the thing though, there isn't any information on Snopes about Trump/Russia collusion either. However, that hasn't stopped so many democrats from saying there is collusion, and calling on his impeachment. Again, this has been going on for months, and so far nothing. That's not to say they haven't or won't come up with something. However, I remember saying early on that "innocent until proven guilty" is a thing here in this country, although watching the news and reading articles for the past 11 months you'd never know it.

You are confusing two completely different situations.
And the reason you haven't heard the conclusion of the investigation yet is because the investigation is still ongoing. There is a seated grand jury hearing the evidence presented by Bob Mueller. What is being presented to the grand jury remains confidential despite the fevered claims of Fox & Breitbart and Devin Nunes to the contrary.
Also, what is the source of this quote?
I'll give it bonus points for creativity in attempted deflection.

Mueller isn't going to share anything until he's ready. Because he is a professional, and the team of prosecutors he has working for him are also professionals.
He may come out and say that there was collusion, or he may not. He may say that some Republicans received money from the Russians. He may say that some Democrats received money from the Russians. Whatever the case, I hope he finds every single one who has benefited from Russian interference in our electoral process. Anyone who is beholden to Putin and his money needs to be out of our government. Every. Single. One.
I suppose it's possible that Hillary secretly meet with Russians to discuss the election, but she's just much better at covering her tracks and hiring people smart enough to keep their mouths shut. If that's the case, she needs to be out of power ASAP. I expect that congress will be calling for her immediate impeachment, as they should. Drag her in from the woods or wherever she's hanging out these days and tell her that she's no longer president, then move on to any other legal ramifications of collusion.
The difference between Trump supporters and liberals/democrats these days seems to be that Trump supporters really don't care what the evidence might be, as even if it's proven that Trump colluded and that he is directly beholden to Russia and Putin's interests, they will still support him. The view of most liberals I've seen - here on this board, IRL, and on other boards - is that if a democrat is found to be involved, they should be removed from office and charged with whatever crimes they've committed, no matter who they are. If it's shown that Trump has been working with and for Putin, there would be plenty of people who would be totally ok with that. It's not even party over country in this case, it's Trump over country. It's beyond me that anyone would be willing to throw away the entire nation and its traditions and democratic methods/institutions for one man (especially this man), but here we are.

I see that now. For the record, it's not an article, it's an opinion column. (Sorry, it's one of my huge pet peeves when people fail to differentiate different types of media.) And it's in Forbes, not the WSJ. I've read it now and sorry, it reads like it was written by a conspiracy theorist on meth but he has some credentials so maybe he's not a crackpot. You'll note, however, that he completely ignores that the research was originally paid for by a Republican campaign and that the FBI continued to pay for it because it doesn't fit his narrative. He also presents no new information at all and it contains nothing more than his own blind, blatantly partisan speculation. ETA: And despite his obsession with proving that the dossier is fake because he is convinced it was compiled by Russian agents to spread disinformation (he has at least one other column about this that I found with a quick google) he ignores actual reporting which says that, in fact, much of the contents of the dossier have now been proven true. Much of the Steele Dossier has been CorroboratedAnd that article doesn't even cover the rampant rumors (because they are rumors) that several networks and papers are sitting on confirmation of the hooker story because they don't want to interfere with the Mueller investigation.

As stated so eloquently by pyccku above, if Democrats are found to be guilty of similar things by Meuller, then they deserve to be removed from office, fined, imprisoned, whatever appropriate punishment. If someone is guilty, they’re guilty. But let’s not get sidetracked from the current focus of the investigation by „whataboutism”.

One of the functions of Fusion GPS is to do opposition research for political campaigns. When the Republican client baled we don’t know at what point the research was at , the general election had yet to happen. It would make good business sense on Fusion’s part to approach the Democrats with what they had or in the process of obtaining. Or, because Fusion GPS, does campaign oppression research, it would not be unusual for the DNC/Hillary Campaign to approach Fusion to do some research for them on trump and they were already ahead of the game because of the work they had done for the Republican client.

I don’t (and never did) care about who paid for it. Of course all sides do oppo research. What I care about is what it says and that it is accurate. I'm happy to see this sentiment expressed. When Don Jr went through the wringer for oppo research, I couldn't figure out what the issue was. Now I see it should never have been one and that left and right agree on that. Whew! You saw no issue with the Russian involvement?

The quote is from the WSJ article I linked above. I understand the investigation into Trump/Russia collusion, and Donnie, Jr. and collusion isn't complete. My point is the media narrative has overwhelmingly suggested that meeting is some sort of further proof of collusion. The reality is the investigation is still ongoing, and maybe instead of the media, and numerous democrats, concluding collusion and thus calling for Trump's impeachment, we all should wait until the investigation is done. From what I can tell lately, impeachment talk as well as invocation of the 25th Amendment are focused on Trump's total incompetence as President, not the collusion issue. That's why I think he should be impeached. He's mentally unstable and unfit to be president. I don't know if he is guilty of collusion. We'll just have to wait and see what the outcome of the investigation is. One thing is for certain and that is politicians are dirty. I guess it's a matter of how dirty they are. Are they willing to break the law? Or are they just dirty enough to pay for an investigation to dig up dirt. It's all sad, if you ask me. But like paperlily said, all that matters to me is what is in the investigation and is it true.

Just because you don't like it now doesn't change how laws are supposed to work. Let’s see what is more important to me right now Well since I live just outside of San Francisco and North Korea is threatening to fire missiles at the West Coast of the United States because of a pissing match between Kim Jong-um and trump v a bunch of innuendos that don’t affect me personally if true. I’m thinking what matters more to me today is not having to decide if I’m far enough away from a potential San Francisco blast site if North Korea does fire missiles. Interesting you should bring up Weinstein when the head pussy grabber is hanging out in the Oval Office and how he is getting a pass on this. So to answer your question to those who voted for trump it would appear that they don’t care about the women that came forward. They rewarded the head pussy grabber by electing him president. By the way. I did not vote for Bill Clinton for president and the reason was because he couldn’t keep his hands to himself. The Republicans have controlled the House for 6 + years. If there was anything “there” when it came the Russian Uranium deal they would have been all over it, if for no other reason than to “get” President Obama. Instead they went after first the President and then Hillary with Benghazi. Now what the Republican controlled Congress is doing is throwing as many stink bombs as they can to distract from the actions and deeds of trump. The hearings on the Russian Uranium deal is a distraction. The hearing about the FBI investigation into the emails besides being a distraction is an attempt to discredit not only Comey but the FBI itself so anything they find out about trump and Russia is deemed suspect. Not only is trump unfit to be president he is dangerous. Instead of the Republican controlled Congress performing their oversight duties they are finding ways to protect him. Unfortunately too many people are buying into the Republicans narrative instead of wanting to know the truth and dealing with the truth that trump is unfit to be president and as such makes his actions dangerous to the citizens of this country. But you know integrity has been replaced with “ We won and got to get those tax cuts. “ in the Republican Party.

The FBI and other alphabet agencies have CLEARLY stated that there was Russian interference with out election. And because of all the people on the Trump team who have ties to Russia and lied about them, the investigation continues. And what about the people on Team Hillary with clear ties to Russia? You know, her campaign manager, John Podesta, and his brother Tony? But that does't fit your narrative does it? And what about Bill Clinton visiting Putin just prior to receiving a boatload of money for a speech, and now all the Uranium One info coming out showing that the Clinton Foundation raked in MILLIONS of dollars from Russian investors after she gave the green light to the deal? I love that you all think Hillary is some sort of saint who can do no wrong. She's one of the most corrupt politicians in recent history. First, Your information is incorrect--you are just posting the right wing breitbart talking points that have been proven false. and secondly, before you get your panties in a huge wad and frothy like you are, you might want to read what I posted, instead of inserting what you think you read into my post.
