Oh this indictment is juicy and clearly the work of a very skilled investigator - it's easy to read and understand, it's very efficient with how it lays things out - a bunch of things are starting to make sense, like why tax evasion is often the thing that gets you.
Also, their companies were straight up working for Russia to win elections in Ukraine. So election fraud might be calling from inside the house - meaning screwing around with voter rolls and Twitter and FB was probably in part informed by an American entity working to advise Russia. How to use what you learned manipulating Ukraine on your fellow Americans. Nice.
Page 15 - I can't stop exclaiming. WOW, this thing is a page turner.

It's actually from BuzzFeed - it says the data and investigation is theirs on the upper left of the page. (I only point that out because I still see people here and elsewhere maligning BuzzFeed News as a less-than-credible source, but they have assembled a team of excellent journalists over the past couple years and are doing real, serious, top-notch investigative journalism and breaking important stories. I think they should get credit where credit it due.) The data is from BuzzFeed. But I believe BI commissioned the infographic. Now I think Kim Albrecht may have done it independently. It's hosted on kimalbrecht.com. Many other sites in addition to Business Insider have articles on it and I am not seeing anywhere that it was funded by one or another. I don't know for sure. Poking around Kim Albrecht's site is interesting - lots of good data visualizations there.

Here's an interactive clickable map made by the German designer Kim Albrecht after BI checked all its information. Click on any name and it will give you the info of how Trump is connected.

They've both been on the radar since last year, so no surprise really. This article appeared in the NY Times last June. The whole thing stinks of money laundering on a very very large scale. Cyprus is still under investigation by the EU and the whole thing is interwoven by Russian " dirty" money. Another article about how Cyprus is involved
Trump didn't get rich on just bricks and mortar alone that's for sure. ETA - Here's another article from the NYT in April of this yearI’m only surprised that Manafort is the first. Of course he was coming but I expected there would be some lower-level people first. I thought Manafort would be too complicated and take more time, plus bringing in some underlings with dirt on him could up the pressure. Starting with Manafort actually gives me more hope that this might all bring down Trump after all. Still very very every guarded optimism there. I think, after reading parts/basis of the charges, that it was done with hiscway first so others may flip- Flynn has already been proven to have done some of the things Manafort was charged with, so he's likely up... Kushner had misled and lied about his FARA forms and from all reports, worse than anyone else, so I'm sure he's feeling the noose tightening. I think Mueller is genius for going the route he has... And once again, Trump a liar--no Russian collusion--BULLSHIT!!!

And in the indictment it reads--Paul Manafort Jr and with Rick Gates, along with others....
So more are coming!!

I'm loving the $934,350 to the Antique rug store in Virginia. Seriously?! You have to pick just the right colors to match each of your 7 or 8 homes' unique character - ski chalet, beach house, Provence villa, Hong Kong penthouse, etc, Make the rugs more impressive than your underlings', but not quite as impressive as those whose favor you're currying. We little peons have no idea just how exhausting and trying it can be to buy furnishing for multiple mansions. Have a little sympathy, mkay.

I just can't even hear any more today. I posted the article from NPR on my facebook. Trump supporter: I don't care about any of this. He's my chosen leader. The stock market is booming.
I'm just so done with idiots. I don't even want to be their friend anymore.

Actually the Indictment covers through 2016, and Manafort was employed by Trump from April through August.
Again, Trump protests too much.

just logging in here for the first time this morning... THIS is hilarious- they really ARE reaching, aren't they?!? (hilarious in a sad, delusional way.) This is the first time in a very long time that I've enjoyed my Monday morning commute to work!! I flip between listening to Sirius radio- the Stephanie Miller show on the Progressive channel and MSNBC coverage of what's going on-- and my local rock radio station, which is even getting in on the festive atmosphere (at least I'll take it that way)- so far, I've heard them play 'Breaking the Law' by Judas Priest, and 'Master of Puppets' by Metallica.
