I'm looking for a grocery list app for my android phone. There are several in Google Play store.
Does anyone use one and which one do you like? Why?
Thanks
Updated 12/31. I chose Out of Milk and have been using it now for a couple of months. I love it. My goal when grocery shopping is to get in and out of the store as fast as possible with the things on my list. And that is what I'm doing. On the computer version at outofmilk.com you can order your categories for a particular list so I keep things pretty much in order as it is in the store. I just click things off as I go.
I put most of the basic things we use all the time in the Pantry portion so I can just browse through that part and click them over to my list before I leave home. Then I add whatever I need for the week's menus. It is also nice to have the app so I can add items as I run out of something. I still have my blank form on the refrigerator in case I don't have my phone handy when I'm cooking and for DH to jot something down.
I've also used the sync option to transfer lists to his phone and he has used the app and it works well for him too.
It isn't perfect. It's a bit too easy to accidentally open an item as though you were editing when you just mean to click the box that you have added to your cart. Not a big deal but mildly annoying. Still I've found Out of Milk really helpful.

I shop at Wegmans and it has an app. You can search products and make a list. Bonus is it tells you the aisle where you can find your products, as well as the price.

I use Cozi for it's lists. I originally downloaded it for the Calendar and features that connected with FlyLady routines. But we just ended up using it for shopping lists. Surely there are better ones.
I'm gonna check our local grocery store chain. I would love for an app to tell me what aisle stuff is on!!!

I am a pen and paper girl, which drives my husband nuts. He uses Grocery IQ and swears by it. I was just talking with coworkers about this yesterday and one of them uses Our Groceries Shopping a list and loves it as well.
Maybe I'll get onboard one of these days...

I have used Out of Milk and liked it. I know they have made tons of improvements recently, but I haven't checked them out.

I’ve used Grocery IQ for years. I love that it syncs across devices and updates real time. So if DH is at the store, I can add something to the list and it appears on the list while the is at the store. You can set the aisle order. Since using this app, DH doesn’t have to call me for clarification on the items on our list when he shops. There are pictures and I can add notes.

I use Buy Me a Pie. I have multiple lists set up. There is one list for each store I regularly visit, along with special lists for school supplies and Christmas gift ideas that I’m watching for a good price.

We use and like Our Groceries. You can have multiple lists (i.e. one for each store), it updates real time, (i.e. DH at store and I remember something else we need), you can input your favorite recipes and add all ingredients at once, and we have our lists organized roughly by aisle of our most frequently visited grocery store. Works great.

Somehow when I’m out shopping, beer always automagically appears. 😄

Do Androids have something like Siri? I've discovered that I love being able to say "Hey Siri ... add pancake mix to the grocery list" when I've just used the last of it, but am in the middle of cooking & don't want to wash my hands/stop and will likely forget it later because it's not something I use all the time. Then my list is with me all the time. It's not great (as far as I know), for adding multiple items at the same time, though.

I use Our Groceries. You can use with or without Alexa. I like it because you can multiple lists on it and it retains items you use frequently.

Grocery iQWhen you add an item that has a printable coupon available it will show up in green. There is a coupon section in the app. You can print two per device. When you finish a product you can scan the UPC and it adds it to your list.

Works great. Ditto. But I would like to know how you organize by aisle? We use the category feature. In our grocery store bakery, deli, and produce are aisle 1, aisle 2-4 are dry/canned goods, then comes baking, toiltries/health, paper products, snacks, etc. So we set those categories and arranged them in order by aisle. You could use literal aisle numbers for the categories if you wanted, but we prefer to be a little broader than that. I don't necessarily know specifically what aisle a certain product is in, but do know which category. Then when you add something to the list you assign a category and the master list will be arranged roughly by aisle. It will remember what category a certain item is in, so next time you add that item to the list it will automatically put it in that category. The downside is, I think categories apply to ALL lists, so you wouldn't be able to set and arrange them for different stores. We do 95% of our grocery shopping at one location though so it works for us. Hope that makes sense!

I keep a note called "Grocery store" in Google Keep that is shared with everyone in my family. If someone adds something, it's there immediately and syncs on everyone's stuff. I like easy!

That would be really useful for me at Costco since I always seem to have to double back because I've forgotten something on my list. Thank you!!

Wunderlist. I use it for all types of shopping and to-do and project checklists. Lists are able to be shared, and it's available for your desktop, apple and Android devices
