For me it's lipstick. I have approximately 5,252 lipsticks (ok...more like 150) and I just bought 4 more. Last time I checked I only have 2 lips to put lipstick on, but I just can't stop myself. What's your buying obsession?

Black socks. I wear them to work in the winter time and just recently I realized I have an entire drawer full that can barely close anymore.

Mine would definitely be notebooks. They look so pretty!!! I have so many that I haven't used yet and I still see more I want to buy. Planners and notebooks are my downfall.

Lip balm, I have dozens and DD has dozens more and neither of us really use them all that much. Christmas tree ornaments, I simply can not resist even though I need several trees to put them all up. Rubber stamps, thin dies, scrapbook paper. And don’t look in my snack cabinet. Just don’t.

Bike shorts- because I'm afraid they will discontinue them and I absolutely love the brand I buy! And of course, nail polish and lipsticks...

Tote bags. I carry whatever current craft project I'm working on, toiletries when we're traveling, change of clothes when I'm gone for the day and all kinds of other things. But, I have dozens of them and I always look for more when I'm shopping.

Jackets. I love them, I'm currently trying to find a sequin blazer in just the right colour. I also buy a lot of lip gloss!

Notebooks, planners, and pens/markers. Now that all the new 2018 planners are out I am trying to resist! And I love buying Moleskine and Lechtturn notebooks. I am trying to resist those too!

Lipsticks, just bought 2 more, and for some reason the Costco size chicken Better than Bouillon because they used to only have it once in awhile, and it's difficult to find it here...but lately it's been a regular item so I now have one in the fridge, and 3 spares in the pantry.

I used to be that way with scrapbook supplies and rubber stamps. Now I'm trying to get rid of most of that stuff. I do have far more nail polishes than I need but I've gotten better and not ordering/buying them as often. I also got a bit purchase crazy with coloring books and have enough until forever ends. lol

I buy black socks too!! It's like trying to find the perfect ones. Some are too thick, some don't hit me right on the leg, some of them, the seams bug me.. I did just find some Ped brand no show ones to wear to work... I LOVE them.. now they don't go with everything but these are perfect.. thin enough to go in the shoe I need, plus there is a little gel pack at the bottom of the sock that feels good on my foot.
I would buy planners everyday. But I just don't use them. I am good for about 2 months and then they are totally forgotten.. So I resist!

Food! I am a strange person that likes going to the grocery store and when I see a good deal, I buy. My make-shift pantry is stocked with canned tomatoes, beans, veggies. My freezer is stocked with pork butt, beef roast. I'm out of room. Thankfully I cook at home most dinners, and all meals on the weekend so it goes fast. Then I get to buy more!

Decorative pillows. I can't resist them. I swap them out and around and try to keep the stock moving, much like a shell game. Thankfully, DH doesn't notice anything in the house, so I can keep smuggling them in.

DH would say I don't need to buy any more fabric.
HOWEVER, I would argue that technically, fabric cannot be categorized as an "item" because you cannot use it as is. You must combine it with other fabric (and thread) and make something: a quilt, clothes, pillows, etc.
Then and only then does it become an "item". But since you didn't buy that item and made it instead, it doesn't count!!

Apparently I buy too much athletes foot cream. Picked up a tube today at the store. DH was helping put up the groceries and told me that there are at least 3 more new tubes in his drawer. Oops! Guess I can stop buying that for a while!
Otherwise it would be fabric. I seriously have enough to last me a lifetime. So what did I bring home from Quilt Festival? More fabric, though I was somewhat reserved in what I did purchase!

Tide laundry detergent. We have three big jugs of the stuff, plus the one that's open. Every time it's on sale at Costco we buy another jug.

Denim shirts. I have probably 20 different ones. Long sleeve, short sleeve. Sleeveless. To wear with leggings. To wear with jeans. I don't need anymore. But I still buy them!
