I loved the halo so much I had them double it. It was pretty original when we had it designed but Tiffany came out with a super super close one this year. Sad! What about the smaller stones on the band with a bigger diamond in the middle?

Steph that is pretty, is there a second band there? For some reason I feel if I get a new ring I want a wedding band too. There is a small shop in a town near here I may go and look and see what they can do.
This is not something I have to do but since DH brought it up I do look. I have thought about a new ring off and on for a few year now.

So pretty everyone. I have tossed around the idea of repurposing my wedding/engagement set into one ring. Our 20th anniversary was last December and my MIL passed away suddenly that day. We ended up not celebrating or doing anything I don't wear either ring although I do love the set. I wear my late mother's anniversary band. I don't even care if I have a diamond. I would love maybe some small emeralds on one thicker band in my original white gold. Check out etsy for lots of design ideas. You don't have to order from etsy, just window shop for designs

Leannec that is very pretty. I really like the wedding band what was the original setting like? The engagement ring has the same scrollwork as the wedding band with a diamond solitaire in the centre ... it's very pretty and I'll admit that my mum is a little choked that I don't wear it as the rings belonged to my late Grandma

Papersilly that is very pretty.
Leannec I would love to have either my mom's or my grandmothers rings. I don't know where my grandmother's is and my mom's was stolen

I am a sets person too. it would have felt weird to me to wear just the solitaire. on my ring, the engagement had a matching wedding band but it was just a solid platinum band. I wanted a little sparkle so I had the wedding band custom made in the style of the Tiffany Etoile band with small diamonds spaced around the band. I wanted more of a beveled edge as opposed to the Tiffany rounded edge so I was lucky enough to find a custom jeweler in Massachusetts who was able to make it for me.

I have a "square" setting with blue diamonds that "float" in the setting and it has diamonds around the square and down the sides. My wedding band has the floating diamonds about halfway down on each side. I really love it and it's so different and totally me. My hubby did a great job!

Here is a pic with the band...it's a little crooked, when it's right the diamonds match up. I'd like to get a second band for the top of it to make it more symmetrical.
