I'm going to do the December Daily for the very first time so I'm going to spend some time this weekend getting things together. I really had to restrain myself not to order all of the December Daily kits and stuff because I already have enough Christmas papers/embellies to last a lifetime so I am thinking that I'll plow through my stash and see what I have before, uh, well shopping more! I finished a 2 pager using the November Sketch Challenge. Couldn't find the paper I wanted and was SURE I had, but in the end I gave up looking and worked with the mountains of stash I DID have at my fingertips. Ran out of gas, but I managed to make my aunt's bd card. Nothing now until Monday.

Tonight I actually scrapbooked for the first time in over 4 months!!! After having all my stuffed packed up and then moving, I spent the last month setting up my new scrapbook room and then did my Christmas cards. So tonight, I finally got back to my photos! I started an album of my DH's fishing trips. Once I got back in the groove, it felt wonderful!! Because of my extensive purge, I didn't know what I had kept. I do realize that I do need to build up my stash. I see a shopping trip in the very near future!!

I plan or hope to work on my Christmas cards every weekend. Didn't get anything done last weekend so I'm hoping to get to them tomorrow. I will be busy all day today  |

I got about 75 photos edited and printed for my DD2016 (I have lots of 2x2s, that's why so many).
I also pulled a bunch of product I know I want to include and started putting it in the album.
Well on my way to finishing this by the end of the month.

A friend of mine was suppose to come over today to scrap and craft but she isn't feeling well. Darn it. I want to go scrap, but I was really looking forward to having company and someone to chat with! I don't mind scrapping alone, but it's nice to be with someone else once in awhile. So...I'm not sure what I'm going to do now.

I always need something to listen to while I scrap. |

babylou - I'm sorry - it's always disappointing when plans don't work out. I've plenty of time today but I'm struggling a bit with motivation...I'm not feeling 100% (coming down with a cold) and am just dragging...not wanting to do much of anything. I've done one single-page layout and a second one is almost done but...they've taken all day

I went to the Red Cross crop from the other thread. Very low turn out but amazing food and snacks! Most people it seems went to the church crop.
I got about 25 pages done. Some I am not thrilled with but they are done and ready to go in the album!
I really appreciated the smaller group but next month many of the church croppers will be coming to this crop so I expect it to be much busier and louder.

no scrapping, unfortunately, but Hurricane "Christmas Card" has hit my dining room table, lol. I found out first-hand that yes, embossing powder CAN go bad, so tomorrow morning I need to go to Michael's-- for new silver embossing powder and for more ATG adhesive.

I FINALLY finished my family reunion album today!!! And have been making Christmas and birthday cards. Starting to get my energy--and mojo--back. Creating is starting to feel more like fun and less like work...
Hoping to get some more recent pages done this week: maybe Saturday?
