I am coveting these in a big way...please share some shoes you've come across recently that you like Oh, and if anyone is interested, they're on sale for $84 at Nordstrom.

My eyes got big and my face got smiley... but my toes cried (Says the girl that wore WAY too many high heels and pointy-toed rocker boots in the 80's) But they *are* pretty!

They are beautiful but the ankle strap fad has made me nervous. I think my ankles would swell right over those pretty l'il straps by the end of the day!

I wore heels to a funeral recently, not even particularly high ones, and couldn't believe I ever wore them on a regular basis - horribly uncomfortable!! Now, not shoes but I am seriously wanting these boots

They look great.
Like others, wore heels when I was younger, up and down London Underground, not a care in the world. Now, no way. I had to wear heels recently, couldn't get them off fast enough.

Those are really cute, but with a bad back there is no way I can wear heels that high anymore.

Was a bit worried because of the height of the wedge but they give me the feeling of wearing heels without the discomfort!!

I can't stop thinking about those ones...not sure I can justify them though

Cute shoes. I like an ankle strap because I have narrow heels and that strap helps keep me from walking out of my higher heeled shoes. We have a drop-in party at work this afternoon so I'll be in heels today. You know... suffering for fashion and all that. Haha.

They are nice boots Gar. I love autumn and shopping for new shoes, that 'back to school feeling' of wearing proper shoes after wearing sandals all summer. Except oh wait, it's still 25 degrees here and I'm still wearing sandals. I'm sure the weather will cool down soon enough. A completely opposite style...I have my eye on these beauties. That ox-blood leather is just gorgeous. www.clarks.co.uk/p/26103933

Me too. Graduated in '69, went to work as a secretary in Manhattan. Everyone wore their business attire/shoes on public tranportation, and at the time I loooooved high heels. Back and forth walking two blocks to the bus, then rode the subway, and even had to stand much of the ride home. Why didn't we think about wearing comfy shoes/flats enroute? Of course, that was before the day when everyone wore sneakers/tennis shoes. Sure couldn't do it now, I'd break an ankle! Gosh I'm getting old........ And yeah, those heels are gorgeous!

I always said that when I grew up I was going to have a lot of cool shoes. Sadly, I grew up but my feet never did, and I'm still stuck in little girl's sizes.
And I just have to say HI MICHY!! Hope you're doing well! (you're still one of my favorite peas ever)

I want classic black Louboutins in either a pump or a mary jane, but I can't find a pair with a low enough heel for me. Of course I can't afford them, so you would think it doesn't matter, but it does. My fantasy life only includes a large amount of money, not the ability to wear 3 inch heels. That is just one step beyond my ability to suspend disbelief.
