I think I need something nicer than the cheapy store brand handsoaps (in their cheapy store brand dispensers) in my bathrooms and kitchen. What kind of dispenser do you use....foaming, regular, pretty, ugly, automatic.....? What do you fill it with?

I use whatever dispenser it comes in. And usually buy a new dispenser each time because I can't remember what brand is at home.
In my kitchen it lasts forever because most times I just grab the dish soap.
I do like my soap to have as little fragrance as possible. And if all it smells like is soap that's okay too.

I get mine at Bath and Body Works. I love the foam. I get lemon or orange for the kitchen. The bathroom gets mild scents because dh doesn't want fufu stuff, so I get white citrus or something similar. The have sales on it and I stock up. I find the foam cleans well and rinses off good.

I like the foaming ones from B&BBW as well and in my kitchen usually go for the lemon or citrus ones too.
I don't switch them over into anything.
My favorite scent for the bathrooms is vanilla.

I used to bulk buy handsoap and refill a decor dispenser in the bathroom, but we have really hard water and the dispenser would get mineral deposits just from being handled by wet hands. I got tired of replacing them and switched to B&BW. I stock up when they are on sale, stick to the citrus and milder scents and buy both foaming and regular. DD goes to the mall way more often than I do, so I delegate the soap selection to her these days

I have glass in the kitchen and master bath. The one in my powder room is ceramic. I use SoftSoap in them. I doesn't seem to dry out my hands too much.

I'm another one who just uses the Bath and Body Works ones - no fancy bottles. I used to have bottles that matched my bathroom accessories, but the pumps would clog and/or break. They just didn't see worth the extra effort.

I use Dial foaming soap in the dispenser it comes in. I have one at every sink and use that every time I wash my hands, which is often. There are several scents and colors, so you can match it to the room, but none have very strong aromas so I like them all. The ones from B&BW are always too strong smelling for me and give me a headache.

I have Simple Human Automatic dispensers in my bathrooms as well as in the kitchen. I just use whatever refill soap in the bathrooms and I have Dawn dish detergent in the kitchen. It does double duty as dishsoap and hand soap for me in the kitchen.

I too use the Dial Foaming handsoap in the clear bottles and buy the refill bottle in the clear fragrange....I think it's white tea or something like that. I like the clear one since the plastic container isn't all that attractive it kind of disappears on the counter and it's easy to buy just one large refill container so it doesn't matter which one needs refilling it seems to last forever.

I use Mrs. Meyers or Softsoap liquid hand soap. I have Longaberger ceramic pumps in the kitchen and the master bath. They kids have hand pumps from BBB or Target--I can't remember. The ones in the powder rooms are plastic because they are just pedestal sinks with no where to put the soap dispenser and are always falling in the sink.

In the kitchen we have a Simply Human dispenser with dish soap and use that for hands and dishes.
In the bathrooms, Bath and Body Works We have a dispenser cover for the one in our bathroom...sort of a brushed silver thing.

I also use the foaming soaps from BBW. I love the fruity foaming one for my little daycare kids! With the foam, they're able to start scrubbing before the soap slips off their hands into the sink.

I just use the containers they come in. Eventually my guys would break any pretty ones I might buy.

I use to have ceramic soap and lotion containers in the bathroom and kitchen but the pumps stopped working so now I just buy individual bottles of SoftSoap and Dial. It doesn't look as nice but it's not the worth the money to replace.

I always used to buy Softsoap and leave it in the original pump dispenser. Until one day, I was at HomeGoods and I swear it was like the clouds opened up and the angels sang when I saw this one dispenser. For some unknown reason it just struck me as the most perfect soap dispenser I had ever seen. It is lucite and I fill it with Softsoap. I also have a glass one near the other sink which makes me happy as well.

If God wanted me to have a fancy dispenser, He would have provided it with the soap. I use what it came in.

In the kitchen I have 2 mason jar pumps that DH made for me with antique jars I had, one for soap, Dawn dish soap, and one for lotion. In the bathrooms I have ceramic dispensers that go with the decor. I fill those with Dawn too. If its good enough for my hands in the kitchen, its good enough for my hands in the bathroom.

In my kitchen I have this foam soap dispenser (I use BBW regular soap in it-it makes it last a lot longer). Right now I'm using the Limoncello soap in it. www.amazon.com/Better-Living-Products-Dispenser-White/dp/B00DPMEJ98We have a mason jar dispenser in the kids' bathroom (easy to refill without making a mess) and I use BBW soap (the orange "energy" kind is my current favorite) in our master bath. DH uses the mudroom sink and it just has a small softsoap pump that he refills. eta: for dish soap I use a simple human touchless dispenser.

No fancy dispenser for me, but do any of you that use the foam soap refill the foam soap dispenser with water and a small amount of regular liquid hand soap? You can get about 4 or 5 bottle of foam soap from one bottle of regular liquid. It has to be the clear (not creamy) kind and with out those little scrubbing beads some soaps have. It saves a lot of $ and is so simple to do. Yep, that's what I do.

Whatever comes in those giant liquid soap refill bottles. It's usually a generic brand and I think it's anti-bacterial. We were using Lysol in the kitchen in the automatic dispenser they used to sell. My husband found a way to hack it so we can put in any brand.
