another frigid morning here. It will be cold-high of 14 I believe and the sun is going to shine which will help mentally anyway! Was working on the scrap room yesterday for a while going thru stuff to see what is scrappy and what is stuff set down in there when it belongs some where else. I think getting rid of al the clutter will be a big help. Not ready to start organizing yet though. But when I do I will be purging a lot of stuff. I have mists, and sprays and paints that I will never use and are several years old. And I am not into mixed media but did try it a few years ago and found it was not my bag. I mainly do cards, traditional and digital scrap booking.
Wishing all of you a very Happy New Year. We don't go out we usually stay home or play cards with friends and make it home before midnight so as not to meet up with any drinkers. well off for now so I can get back to sorting.

I am back home. It was super cold (-35 to -28C) but the roads were clear and dry. Only stops were to print photos and get gas.
Guess we are going out this evening. Barely got into the house, and my brother texted to say he and his gf will be singing at the Seniors' in town, asking us to meet them there.

Oh, you people in the frozen north............I don't know how you stand it!! justjac , scrapincin , grammadee , LisaDV , I promise not to gripe again when I think it's cold here. I do have to have a blanket around my legs at Church or when we go out to eat even when it's 30 degrees here. I would be a frozen popsicle in your weather! Happy New Years Eve and Day!!!I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating and enjoying the new year. My dh and are under the weather so we will be resting and hoping tomorrow is a better day. This holiday season wasn't as festive for us due to health but I WANT A DO OVER!!!  Maybe next weekend we can do some of the things we didn't get to do. Who says you have to celebrate on the actual day anyways. LOL! Plus, I didn't get to go help decorate our city's Rose Parade float. For some years I have wanted to go and help and still haven't made it.  Maybe next time. But it you see the parade keep an eye open for the City of Downey. That's us! nylene- Happy Anniversary to you and your dh!!!! What a blessing! I am wishing you many more years of wedded bliss! LisaDV- Happy Birthday to ya!!!! I hope you had a terrific time. Oh and when is your wedding anniversary? 50 years is so awesome. My dh and I will be at 12 this January.

Get well soon, kellyr21 and dh. I will throw in with your wishes for you to feel better tommorow. There is an evil bug going around. . We have 2 dgs down with it.
Our 50th was back in april.
It's viscous cold here in west texas, too, y'all. 21° and no sunshine for several days.
