BlueMoon is out of business. Bluemoon did close but then Scott sold the name to a local scrapbook teacher and now she has an online store under the Bluemoon name. Bluemoonscrapbooking.com

I think it is time to adapt my review of My Scrap Haven. I finally made it to their new location.
They are in Lone Star Mercantile, which is rather unique. It's like a craft convention but in a store. There are a variety of booths, but none of them are individually staffed. The store personnel help you, although I doubt that any of them know anything about scrapbooking or any of the crafts in the various booths.
My Scrap Haven takes up 4 booths. When they had their own store, there were usually other customers shopping. I was the only one browsing the My Scrap Haven booths on a Friday afternoon. It looks like they have a decent selection for the small amount of space (definitely smaller than their store), and they had some nice things such as Disney papers, a little Graphic 45, some Lawn Fawn dies, and a few colors of Nuvo drops, but I left empty handed. It did look as though she had probably ordered some new things for the new location after moving.
While there were other customers in the Lone Star Mercantile, I felt more tempted by the other merchandise than by anything in the My Scrap Haven booths. I do have a ridiculously huge stash, but my craft stash is far bigger than the combined contents of the 4 My Scrap Haven booths. I don't think it's a good location, although it was probably a better alternative for the owner. She doesn't have to staff it, and probably pays less rent, but there are no classes, few samples, and no one who really knows anything about the products. It definitely looks like a lot less inventory. She made good use of what space she has, but considering that I was the only one browsing on a Friday afternoon is not a good sign for any LSS.
The Lone Star Mercantile was definitely worth visiting at least once. There were plenty of things in other booths that tempted me. I just don't think it is a good location for a scrapbook store, especially with how small and compact My Scrap Haven has become.
For comparison, before moving, My Scrap Haven had almost or about the same amount of inventory as The Little Blue House. They were/are on the opposite sides of the DFW metroplex. Now My Scrap Haven has far less to offer scrappers. Both stores are a 40 to 45 minute drive for me, just in opposite directions. When The Little Blue House moved, they moved to another independent store location. My Scrap Haven is kind of hidden among the many booths at the mercantile. I had to ask how to even find it after going into the mercantile. When I visited The Little Blue House after they moved, I spent a chunk of change on their new products. When I went to My Scrap Haven at their new location for this first (and probably only) time after they moved, I bought nothing. My Scrap Haven offers better papers than a big box craft store, and a few products that the craft store doesn't carry, but unless you are much closer to My Scrap Haven than I am, it's not likely to be worth the gas.

Just found a local scrapbook store LSS in Peoria, AZ called The Paper Collage yesterday. What an adorable shop! It's not huge, but there were a lot unique merchandise in there. This store even has their own brand of 12x12 paper! Very high quality paper. I was in paper craft heaven! Arizona, cactus, cowboy, Alice in Wonderland, coffee papers, seasonal and more. A lot of paper designs I've never seen anywhere else. Totally worth visiting! Glad to find this store. Here is the info from their website: www.thepapercollage.net/The Paper Collage 16671 N. 84th Ave, Suite 130 Peoria, AZ 85382 I was bummed that so many of the LSS have closed in Arizona, but so happy to find The Paper Collage store.

The stores in Wimberly and New Braunfels TX have both closed. There is a new one in Waco called Paper Crown Waco. I haven't been but would like to check it out soon.

I sadly took the two that closed off the list, and I happily added Paper Crown. Sorry it took me a few days to get to it. Thanks so much for helping to keep the list current!

I wanted to bump this to the top in case, like me, others weren’t aware of it and could update the lists. What a great idea for a thread, I’d love to patronize a LSS but haven’t been able to find any in the San Antonio or Austin area. I need to keep this thread in mind when I visit DFW and Houston though.

And just five miles down the road, I visited Personal Scrapbook. The shop is a storefront in a strip mall, rather than enclosed within a larger company. This store has a nice selection of everything - stamps, ink, Nuvo drops, all the cool crafty stuff. Lines carried here include Echo Park, Doodlebug, Authentique, Reminisce, Lawn Fawn, and lines new to me like Blue Fern and Petticoat Parlor. She also carries page kits and die cuts. Personal Scrapbook has a large workspace for crops and for scrapbookers to come work on their projects. The store offers classes and individualized help. The owner was working when I came in today and she was as nice and as helpful as she could possibly be. I love that personal touch. So, two recommendations for two Texas scrapbook stores, both in Allen. I hope they both thrive! Thanks, I wasn’t aware of this one. It’s a bit of a drive, but I’ll have to see if I can check it out!

Very cute shop with a nice selection of planner supplies, pens, washi, stickers, etc. I did see they had a decent selection of scrapbooking supplies as well. I bought a nice set of pens as well as a Grogu (baby Yoda) sticker for my Stanley cup LOL. I also bought a cute cat pen holder!

I was checking on stores that I had been to in the DFW area, and Little Gnome Crafts in Joshua, Texas closed in 2018.
Please remove it from the list.

Just Create Studio has opened in Chandler AZ. Currently they are only open Fri and Sat from 10-6. I spent NSD at a crop there. It is a small but really fun store.

I haven’t been to visit it yet, but there appears to be a new creative arts craft store in Southlake, Texas. They are only open Thursday through Sunday. Based on their website, they appear to sell at least some scrapbook supplies. I will try to visit it soon to see what else they offer.
