I used to be very active on the photography board. I dipped my toe into NSBR, but stayed in the shallow end for the most part. There were some real bitches on NSBR, and it was very cliquish. I was typically a thread killer, but that's okay. Everything I learned I learned from twopeas. It was the best board to lurk!

What a fun story to have for your "joinging". Mine was obviously not memorable, I know I read for years and years before I decided to finally post, but have no idea what it was about. Not that I ever posted very often. Bad me. I think posts in my head all the time, does that count? Lol heartland, I can't tell you how many posts I've started in my head over the years! woohoo- I've been quoted, I feel like I have arrived or something, lol!

I worked at a scrapbook store and taught classes, found an add for TwoPeas in the back of a scrapbook magazine, went there for title ideas, etc. Not sure what brought me over to the NSBR board, but I lurked for a couple years until BeadGate brought me out. I work two jobs and don't get much time to pea (are we still calling it that?) but I read everyday during lunch breaks and down time at night, etc. Happy to be here in our new place♥

I lurked for several years before I joined two peas and even then I didn't post a lot. I joined mainly for general scrapping board and the gallery but would read the posts on the NSBR all the time. I saw how quickly a seemingly innocent topic could derail and how nasty some of the responses could be and that kept me from posting on a lot of the threads. I have enough stress in my daily life I didnt need to add more from a MB! Eventually I did get brave and started a few of my own threads and I have to say the responses I got from the peas were wonderful. No snark..no nastiness..just advice, support and different view points to consider. I love this place and am so glad we have a new home!

And I'm glad you're over here to kill threads so the rest of us won't have to

Hi! I'm leaving lurkdom too! I went to 2 peas looking for ideas for layouts and spent a lot of time looking through the gallery. Found the NSBR board and didn't post because I thought it would take too much time and I was on the site long enough as it was. I, too, am going to change my ways!

Welcome lurkers! Glad you've outed yourselves, lol. As to handslapping and all that crazy stuff? The first time may hurt but after that it's no biggie.
