I hope to get some scrapping done also. I am 2 weeks (YIKES!) behind in my #52favs over at PaperIssues. Who are you drooling over on the unboxing? I started getting my weeks prepped and pics are printed. Hoping to get them started this weekend. Ive been into lots of pp and wood veneer, haven't done much shopping though. Except I got some ink and cute one canoe two embellies at js online clearance for 2 bucks. Been watching process videos, browsing Pinterest for ideas and bingewatching Blacklist on Netflix while scrapping. I've never listened to a podcast, wouldn't even know where to look, but I'd love some scrappy chat. We have to stay on top of this!

I am really into stamping on my layouts right now. Specifically, I am OBSESSED with Carabelle Studio stamps. I have been gathering a bit of a collection, and I love them. In particular their really big background stamps. I've also bought a couple of small, simple camera stamps from Etsy that are easy to cut out and work great in embellishment clusters. I decided that I would use a camera motif as a theme through my latest travel albums, so they are getting lots of mileage right now.

I'm with ChinaGirl. Although, I got a hefty SC box this week, I've been doing some serious stash diving for my sons' school of life albums. The other thing I've taken up is centering my Silhouette cuts on a sheet of paper so I could still use that piece for bordering a base page. Those cheapie pads from Michaels are handy for creating base pages to have on the ready. Just patch the back with washi tape where the cuts are.

Catching up on Project Life! So far this month I did both kids monthly pages in the app for 2017, ordered pictures for about 7 months of 2016 for my daughter and figured out I'm missing about 5 months of 2016 for my son and ordered my complete 2017 family album. My 2018 goal is to use my stash and get it all done!

Using what's in my stash and not buying anything more. Using the "good stuff" and not worrying I'll run out.

Sometimes I will cut out some of the background behind a photo mat, but I never thought about positioning my Silhouette cuts so the rest of the page would be usable as a background. SaveSave

I am into dog paper right now. I have found several packs of paper and ephemera and have probably 5 times as much as I need to make a dog album.

My first thought was I AM REALLY INTO... Benedryl and Advil. I've been sick this week. But if I keep it to crafty things, this week I've been happy just playing with my fine point black Sharpie. I'm easy to please. I've been making lots of Zentangles and doodles and lists. Love me some Zentangles! I've got some I need to finish. I am trying to organize my stash and when I get bored with that I have watching some youtube videos to learn new techniques. At some point I'll meld my stash with the techniques and get something done!

I'm currently really into making plans for a weekend crop I'm attending at the end of February with some of my favourite ladies! I'm also super into my Lawn Fawn stamps (this is apparently a never-ending obsession) and I'm into working on incorporating more stamping into my layouts!

I have to put together a mini album for a coworker who is retiring next week. Nothing fancy - maybe mat the photos but I want to find some of my retirement stickers to use, or some of my office/telephone paper that I know I have tons of.
What I'm really into now - hmmm. It sounds silly to say I'm really into getting pages done quickly yet still using my stash. Now supply I am into would have to be enamel dots, because I can always find a place for them and have a gazillion of them.

Using what's in my stash and not buying anything more. Using the "good stuff" and not worrying I'll run out. Yes! I'm into learning to just use it and not worry about if the layout is worthy of the supply. I'm committed to using up a portion of my stash before making any purchases.

I have a planner that features a month-at-a-glance grid, and I've been adding mini Zentangles in the blank boxes of the January day blocks that have passed that were empty. I only had room for 7, but they make the pages a little more interesting and they don't obscure any info. I made most of them while I was on hold when I had to call my insurance company.

What a nice, happy thread Just sat here trying not to dribble my tea after a visit to the dentist for a filling. I'm into Photoshop. I mean, it's not that different to PaintShop Pro; layers, effects etc. but somehow it seems so much better and I wonder why I didn't jump over sooner. Also, it's quicker. I hadn't done any of my weekly pages except one; I finished five in under half an hour; an hour if you count the time I made the page templates too. I watched a video from Jennifer McGuire about foiling without a laminator and I want to try it! I know I could get a laminator but I would probably have trouble using it.

I have been trying to cut my paper like nicolejones911 does so just the edges show (take out the middle) but it is tedious and I rarely get it just right lol ( I think I need more practice) but with teh Cameo I could SO do this! Thank you for the idea! How is the school of life album coming? I have a weakness for school themed things and have WAYYYYYY more than I will ever use for BOTH kids!

Using what's in my stash and not buying anything more. Using the "good stuff" and not worrying I'll run out. I am TRYING to learn this. I have been going through and taking out the backing for my enamel/bling and relearning my stash while saving space. I have some pretty cool stuff. Time to use it! What have you (re) discovered that you love again?

I went thru this and cat paper (and we only had that horrid cat for about 6 months). Good thing is most of the B sides are usuable lol! Are you making the album for you or a friend?

At some point I'll meld my stash with the techniques and get something done! Organizing always makes me feel better. I organized and purged my paper at the end of last year/beginning of this year (gave it to the art teacher at school) and now I am all about removing packaging for bling/enamel to save space (it is amazing how much space that little cardboard/piece of paper takes!). What are you wanting to organize most?

What is your favorite way to use the Oxides besides backgrounds?

I hope you are not in pain and all is fixed now. I am glad you are finding PhotoShop faster and more enjoyable. You will have to tell me if foiling without a laminator is successful. I have a laminator but I have never been a big foil girl. I am excited to hear of your experiment.
