I am into dog paper right now. I have found several packs of paper and ephemera and have probably 5 times as much as I need to make a dog album. Me too!! What a coincidence!! I'm working on photos of my DD's and her boyfriend's puppy (which is now 2 years old..). Needless to say, I have a lot of opportunities to use up my dog paper/embellishments!! So fun to do though!!!

Yes! I'm into learning to just use it and not worry about if the layout is worthy of the supply. I'm committed to using up a portion of my stash before making any purchases. mikklynn I love that commitment. Do you have a goal tracker or a set number of X before Y? Good for you! I don't have a specific goal in mind. I want to get to where my paper fits in my armoire again! I have overflow everywhere. ETA - But, I'll admit I'm weak! I "may" have a bunch of stuff in my cart at ACOT. I am at least much more intentional about what I purchase.

Really love this place. I am into getting to know everyone here. I am new here. And i love all the ideas everyone has. I just started back creating again. I got rid of a lot of my things, except Basic Greg and Sassafras. So I am using my old stuff while I decide which kit I wanna sub to. I am kind of holding off buying paper because a lot looks similar. But investing in embellishments.

How is your living history project coming? It's never ending! I did 3 volumes of 18th century and think I have about 20 pages left but my husband came to me with a shoe box full of memorabilia and I got overwhelmed and put it aside to work on current photos. For an upcoming February retreat I actually grabbed a bunch of stuff to work on 1830's and 1880's living history. I thought I had much fewer photos of those eras but I seem to have tons of everything no matter what era! However I definitely plan to finish 18th century. When I was looking on my walmart photos for pictures for work for my coworker album, I found yet another photo of my husband and a few of my son and I that I never printed and need to go in this project as well. Never ending!

I'm currently really into making plans for a weekend crop I'm attending at the end of February with some of my favourite ladies! I'm also super into my Lawn Fawn stamps (this is apparently a never-ending obsession) and I'm into working on incorporating more stamping into my layouts! Crops are fun! Are you making page kits? What are you preparations for the crop? is there a theme? It's a Crop & Create event put on by Scrapbooks & Cards Today. There's no specific theme but I am taking a few classes - one on watercolour scripts, one with mixed media backgrounds, and then one where we make a little papercrafted house, I believe. I started going to two of these crops a year back in 2015 - I knew NO ONE - and had the good fortune to be seated with other newbies that have now become wonderful friends! I guess you could say I'm making page kits - I generally put my photos and the paper i want to use together and then for embellishments I often just bring whatever my newest items are as well as my older AE subscription kits and challenge myself to use them.

I'm with ChinaGirl. Although, I got a hefty SC box this week, I've been doing some serious stash diving for my sons' school of life albums. The other thing I've taken up is centering my Silhouette cuts on a sheet of paper so I could still use that piece for bordering a base page. Those cheapie pads from Michaels are handy for creating base pages to have on the ready. Just patch the back with washi tape where the cuts are. You are a genius! I have been trying to cut my paper like nicolejones911 does so just the edges show (take out the middle) but it is tedious and I rarely get it just right lol ( I think I need more practice) but with teh Cameo I could SO do this! Thank you for the idea! How is the school of life album coming? I have a weakness for school themed things and have WAYYYYYY more than I will ever use for BOTH kids! I have 4 kids (3 have graduated from high school) and this is where I'm at: DS #1 Just his junior and senior year left DS #2 Need to do grades 6-12 DS #3 Need to do grades 6 -12 DD Haven't even started! She's a freshmen
Each kid will have 2 albums each

Using what's in my stash and not buying anything more. Using the "good stuff" and not worrying I'll run out. I am TRYING to learn this. I have been going through and taking out the backing for my enamel/bling and relearning my stash while saving space. I have some pretty cool stuff. Time to use it! What have you (re) discovered that you love again? All the pretty papers from past collections of companies no longer in business. And embellishments. So glad I bought a bunch I liked back then that have stood the test of time.

I went thru this and cat paper (and we only had that horrid cat for about 6 months). Good thing is most of the B sides are usuable lol! Are you making the album for you or a friend? Technically making the album for my new friend, our corgi puppy. I have 8 x 8 albums of my dogs and they are pretty much my favorite albums. I get lots of pictures of them from birth to one. This new little girl is gorgeous and seems to like the camera. Her older fur brother was much the same way. We just lost our sheltie last December and I have gone through her book a lot in the last few weeks.

The folkart patterns on this site are inspiring. Last year I took up knitting again, and am trying to read more. I would love to join in on this too. Gaah, too many hobbies, so little time. I need to retire so I can have more fun.

Don't forget to check out the Stamping section, too. It won't be long until our evil influence will have you back in the swing of scrapbooking. The enabling around here never ends. Here is mine, for your purchasing pleasure: After scrapbooking for 20 years (started off with Creative Memories), I finally subscribed to my first kit, Cocoa Daisy, starting with January. They have some lovely papers and embellishments. The timeline on when you can join is restrictive, but once you do it's easy. The kits are so nice. It's hard to say the number one thing I'm into right now. It's a toss up between kits and stamp/die sets. I also usually purchase a card kit or two every month, and there is always a new must-have stamp set on my list.

I AM REALLY INTO........making distress oxide card backdrops Just one of the 9 I made at a crop today. Also watching YouTube videos of people building houses in The Sims. I've been sick and for some reason found them weirdly entertaining. I've been playing the game since the first version came out when I was in high school i hope you are feeling better soon! Gorgeous background. I need to play with my Oxides more. I was just researching how to better store them as they are taking up a whole drawer and that will just not do lol. What is your favorite way to use the Oxides besides backgrounds? So far I've only used them for backgrounds and stamping. They work wonderfully for stamping. I reach for them pretty often for stamping now replacing a lot of my Hero Arts dye inks. The coverage is great.

What a nice, happy thread Just sat here trying not to dribble my tea after a visit to the dentist for a filling. I'm into Photoshop. I mean, it's not that different to PaintShop Pro; layers, effects etc. but somehow it seems so much better and I wonder why I didn't jump over sooner. Also, it's quicker. I hadn't done any of my weekly pages except one; I finished five in under half an hour; an hour if you count the time I made the page templates too. I watched a video from Jennifer McGuire about foiling without a laminator and I want to try it! I know I could get a laminator but I would probably have trouble using it. I watched that video. I have a laminator but love what she did without it!

I'm into cards that DO something! Popup, twist, flip, slide, just do something! Sometime this week, my Karen Burniston preorder should be shipping! I can't wait, my 3 tier 3D popup cake card will be coming my way at long last. I've been waiting for this die for a long long time! Karen had a MUCH simpler version at Sizzix some years back in the steel rule die version. You can't do intricate like you can in wafer thin and now that she has her own company, she is going all out with her designs and they were pretty darn good her 3(?) years with Elizabeth Craft Designs. DH loved the Twist panel card I made for his birthday this weekend. He has plans for me doing more! I need to get my laminator and foil out again but unfortunately, working "wastes" too much of my free time! Right now, I'm making Dachshund Valentines! Last year AND this year, Michaels had a Valentine stamp set that featured Dachshunds. I'm no where near a Michaels and they weren't selling online so last year and this year, 2 ladies on my other messageboard went shopping for me! Oh and somehow, somewhere, all these cards will do something! Pop, twist or flip.

I've really been into procrastinating and youtube videos. I need to watch more of the Nicole Jones ones where she preps page kits. I have a weekend crop coming up at the end of February, so I need to get things organized.
I finally transferred pictures from Feb. 2017 to earlier this month from the camera to the computer and got them named & uploaded to MPix. Now I just need to get the order completed. Of course, they had a sale last week that I missed.

With all the scrapping I've been getting done the past week, I've realized that I'm really into flat pages. That is something I NEVER thought I'd say! I was the queen of dimension and pop dots! But I'm really appreciating the flatter look in my albums and being able to fit more pages in the albums.

Stamping, coloring and card making.
I haven't really stamped much in years but my 13 year old twins like to make cards more than scrapbook so I've been card making with them. (trying to pass on the love of crafting) I signed up for an online Copic coloring class, dug out the new scan and cut and have been making some cute cards and working on my coloring.

Bible journaling, calligraphy and water coloring. I haven’t scrapped in a while. Too much work to sort through photos and print them.

I am really into stamping on my layouts right now. Specifically, I am OBSESSED with Carabelle Studio stamps. I have been gathering a bit of a collection, and I love them. In particular their really big background stamps. I've also bought a couple of small, simple camera stamps from Etsy that are easy to cut out and work great in embellishment clusters. I decided that I would use a camera motif as a theme through my latest travel albums, so they are getting lots of mileage right now. Enabler!
