Finished this wallet today. I use a wallet instead of a purse so it has a cross body strap on it. Eta : there are pics of the inside on Instagram. I don't know if you can see them here. http://instagr.am/p/BfPX7HUFbu2 I love it, the camper van fabric is awesome

gale w - Love the new wallet! Great fabric choices (if you click on the photo, it takes you straight to the Instagram post and then see all the photos). Ever since using Peltex for a small project, I have avoided any of the wallet or handbag patterns. I hated that stuff! Might have to get some of the Decovil and try again.

If you decide to try the Decovil, the cheapest place to buy it is at www.gotinterfacing.com. She also refunds any shipping overcharge. I really couldn't believe how nice it is. I hated peltex and would stack layers of other interfacing before using it again.

That wallet is so cute, Gale. I love it. Montannie, your cowl is so striking. I love the colors. Jennyap, I love your pillow. It looks like a fun pattern. Heathers, that will be a lovely piece when you are finished. So I finished my bunny pullover for my cousin's grand daughter. All the measurements came out perfect but it looks really small. The hood looks way bigger in relationship to the body. I also purposely made the ears smaller. I used Bernat's pipsqueak yarn. It's super soft and it feels softer after it's been worked up. It feels like a cloud. Now I can go back to my pullover. I still need to figure out the sleeves. Attachments:

I'm knitting a thing! It's just a very simple chunky shawl/scarf, garter stitch with a yarnover border thingy. Sorry for getting technical!

I like your thing lainey ! Here's my cardigan so far. I have just 4 more rows to finish around the outside, then I'll start on the sleeves. This is the biggest thing I've attempted to crochet yet, other than pot holders, hot water bottle covers, bobble hats, scarves etc. This is for Good Friday. {deleted to save space}

lainey, that shawl will be pretty; I like the yarn over border. RedSquirrelUK, your cardigan is lovely. Did you use that tiny hook on the whole thing? I think I remembered that you posted what you were planning on making but I couldn't find it. I'm having a hard time visioning the end result.

I'm having a hard time visioning the end result. Thank you! It's DK yarn (3/light worsted) with a 4.5mm hook, so not that tiny. Here is the link to the pattern. I'm making the grey one. beacrafter.com/crochet-sleeved-circle-vest/SaveSave

Started a new post b/c I didn't know about this one. Here's what I said: I learned how to knit and crochet when I was a kid. My grandmother taught me to crochet, and my mother taught me to knit. She was taught by her Finnish sister-in-law, so I knit the continental style. Anyhoo....I was never too great at reading patterns, etc. I haven't done much besides dishcloths in many years, and I need a distraction. So, I started knitting again. Well, heaven help me, I'm sucked into the yarn vortex. HA!! I'm working on this scarf: www.mamainastitch.com/big-knit-scarf-pattern/While it is a bit monotonous, I have totally enjoyed it. And it's been good practice. You'd think I would never mess up such a simple pattern, but NOPE. My next project for crochet will be a shawl kit I bought. And for knitting will be a few hats. I've never done circular needles before, and I want to learn. I'll only get better by knitting, right?

3 down, 10 to go! I've been working on the baby quilt this afternoon. These are paper pieced blocks so it has been slow going and a bit tedious. Just hoping the quilt comes out like I envision it. That doesn't always happen! The pattern I am using is Paper Boat Quilt by Rashida Coleman-Hale at Cotton + Steel. The colors go with the baby's nursery (coral, pink and gray). Since the baby is almost 5 months old, I need to put this project in high gear!

JoP love the blanket! Youโve come so far with your crocheting since the early days of this thread! **GypsyGirl** I love your blocks and look forward to seeing the finished quilt! gale w you do beautiful work! I love your bags! Iโm almost done with my hydrangea throw! I need to weave in ends and do the border. Then I need to contact the coordinator at the cancer center where I had my treatment and make plans to meet with her to donate it. Iโm hoping she can figure a way to gift it, anonymously, to a current patient receiving chemo.
