Here, as promised, is an extra little challenge for you to take on if you are having a crafty weekend this or any weekend this month. This week's workout activity is to S-T-R-E-T-C-H! To take on this week's challenge, simply take something you have created for one of the other challenges and stretch it out! If you made one page, stretch it into a two-pager. If you created a card, make it a set of cards. If you used 5 supplies on your Take 5 project, then do another one with a different set of supplies. Here is one of my stretches: The left page to crystalb 's Challenge #1: School pics Calgary '17 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And the left page to @dawnmd's Challenge #2 is in the attachment below. What can you stretch this weekend?

oh, this one WILL be a challenge....both of my layouts so far were single photo where I only HAD one photo from the event/memory. And that take 5 challenge was tough...my stash doesn't have ANY frames or staples or paperclips (or cameras really - just a QK die)...I'll have to think hard on this one.

grammadee - Question! So if I make a project this weekend that uses Challenge #1 or Challenge #2 components I enter that under the stretch, but if I make a "freestyle" project I enter that just under the pinned thread where you are keeping score is that correct? Thank you for the clarification, you know how I am about following rules.....a little OCD in that area - (but ya gotta love me right).

grammadee - Question! The simple answer is Yes. If you create a another project for Challenge #1 (and you can enter any challenge as often as you like), please link it to the Challenge 1 thread. If you create something for Challenge #2, it goes in THAT thread, and so on. If you ADD a page to one you did for a particular challenge, then post the 2 pager (or the second page) to THIS thread b/c it is a STRETCH of the original challenge. If you create something that has nothing to do with any of the challenges so far, just link it to the Talk & Tally thread (the pinned one) and we will call that a Free Style. Any item you create and claim will get you ONE point. If you share that item in the challenge thread (as an attachment, a link to the Gallery, or a link to your blog or other website) then you get an EXTRA point for that project. I am really happy you have decided to come play with us! I was hoping this would be close enough to Calvinball to get you excited. Looking forward to seeing your creations again.

Thank you grammadee, I think I got it now! I think you have all done a wonderful job in putting this together. I am enjoying the heck out of this. Anxiously waiting to get home so I can put my pages together for challenge #2.

This doesn't really meet the challenge but I thought I would share it. I did not make this for one of the other challenges, but this is a stretch layout (four 8.5x11) that I recently had to readjust to make room for the photo from this year. This layout I made and remade several times because I have been taking this photo of my sons in front of the fireplace since they were 3 and 1. They are now 26 and 24. I had to figure out a way to add yet another photo because it was full. I don't know what I'll do next year if both boys are here to take the photo again! i love your layout! such a great tradition and so fun to see them change and grow. i guess next year you'll just have to start a new page

You should just start another page and keep the tradition going as long as you can. **ETA** I like your avatar change!

patin I like how you were able to fit 6 photos without it looking crowded. Your layout reflects the fun you obviously had.

For my #1 S-T-R-E-T-C-H challenge I made a 2nd page to go with my On The River layout. I am a very slow scrapper and even making simple pages takes me a LONG time. I have loved spending the whole day scrapping and have loved having the prompts to get me started. I have never scrapped this much in this short a time. Thank you to each of our hostesses. Sorry about the blob in the center of this layout, but I felt I had to block out our family surname which I cut out on the Silhouette. Family Reunion at Fred's by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Another card from me! Using the Lift A pea layout as inspiration, with the branch standing in the the floral element on the original. Have a hoot-iful day by Jane Bradbury, on Flickr Supplies from The Hungry JPEG Tribal kit, fonts are KL Pumpkin Patch and Marvellous Serif. In Photoshop...

Here's Mine. It goes with the layout for Day 1. I'm really horrible about letting pocket pages set around until I have nothing else layout wise to scrap, so I'm really excited by this challenge as it got me to finish!! Thanks, grammadee. Weekend At Grandma's 2 by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr

mikklynn, great stretch. I like how you coordinated the 2 pages with the page design but used different elements. Great pages. patin, love the paper layers and those frames. Such fun and cute pages. nylene, fabulous second page. Great colors and layers. JaneB, WOW! That card is fabulous!

LisaDV I really like what you did with the pocket page. I like to add them into my albums when I have a lot of photos for a specific event, rather than do 5 layouts. Another pea was sweet enough to give me some 12x6 pocket pages. I didn't even know those were ever made! Thanks, joblackford!

I like to add them into my albums when I have a lot of photos for a specific event, rather than do 5 layouts. Me, too. I'll create a layout or two for the stories I really want to tell and then just do pocket pages for the rest of the photos.

Here are layouts for double-page spreads that go with other pages that I posted for the challenges. The redwood layout is the backside of my 3x3 photo spread of the aquarium. I put the 9x12 photo on a 12x12 canvas in Photoshop so that Costco wouldn't try to crop any of it. I like the effect, but the photo was pretty expensive just to cut it up. I need to rethink that one in the future. IMG_6059 by Oaksong, on Flickr IMG_6061 by Oaksong, on Flickr

so many great creations. oaksong - LOVE the redwood page - it is fabulous! I posted my stretch challenge on the talk and tally thread as it was page 2 of a 2-page layout - I stretched a one-page sketch and used it to inspire BOTH pages

myboysnme I remember you sharing this project and thinking how wonderful to have so many years in one (very large!) layout. I'm with the others who have said just keep adding pages!

myboysnme I remember you sharing this project and thinking how wonderful to have so many years in one (very large!) layout. I'm with the others who have said just keep adding pages! Yes, I think I may have shared it last year! I had considered it a completed layout when my boys said on Christmas Day, "We didn't do the fireplace picture this year!" So I basically took every photo off (thankfully I use hermafix removeable) and moved some of the cute elements I had on the left and that most recent photo fit in. The thing about it is that it is a collage of sorts but there isn't really a focal point or journalling to explain. I was thinking about slightly trimming each photo to give me some room.

i had another go at the day 5 tic-tac-toe challenge and stretched to 2 pages. i used the middle row: something glittery, deco edge (torn) and PL card.
