I changed my name since people are hell bent on including the name Lauren when talking to me. So now they can.
And I only have two personaes: lovetocolor and #notLauren. any others you think I have are ones others have made up.

Is that the kind of discourse your fellow conservatives want on their thread, rather than a liberal discussing issues without profanity? I guess they'll have to answer that. Another liberal who turns a blind eye to everything said and done by those she likes or agrees with. Of course, you are not looking for discussion. Sorry to have brought it up. But you (general you, conservatives) have a problem with the liberals complaining about and attacking Trump. However, there were some conservatives who viciously attacked Obama for 8 long years. This is normal on the board. Right now, you have a horrible excuse for a human being for president, who claims to be Republican and he's being attacked by the liberals/democrats. This is normal behaviour. I feel sorry for Republicans, it must be very hard to hold your nose and try to stand behind your president who is so awful. At least Obama was (and is) a good man. It's pretty normal on this board to diss the president who is not on your political team. That's all I'm trying (not very successfully) to say. Obama was not a "good" man. I'm sorry you had to hold your nose and try to stand next to that bigot wimp. This country is far better off today than it was under 8 years of him; in every way. OK, thanks for sharing! I absolutely think he has the negotiation skills. What he says behind closed doors in a meeting is probably far different from his Twitter rant behavior. I soooooooo hope you are right!  but I am afraid you are not. When someone shows you who they are believe them. He'd have to be a pretty good actor to be so bad at it in one world (public/twitter) and another- behind closed doors. He's had enough bit parts in movies to know he's not. (a good actor) There have also been enough past records of him negotiating/pleading his case showing he is not that convincing and easily rattled/angered. |

It is 30 Apr 2018 today. 15 years is a long time to try to shame someone for something that was clearly intended as a boost to our service men and women. I agree. For the love of all that is Holy! Please put each other on ignore so we can have real conversations and not have to wade through the arguing. It's maddening. I want to hear real opinions from both sides not this nonsense. If my sister and I were arguing like this, my Dad would come and knock our heads together and tell us to knock off our crap. For those not familiar with the Korean War, here are the statistics. My dad fought in the war ~ he was a submariner ~ and I was about 3 or 4 so I don't remember when he was gone.  What I find striking is that almost as many soldiers died in this war as in the Vietnam War. The Korean War Memorial in Washington DC was haunting to me. Thank you for sharing that. |

He went on to spend 30 years in the Navy. He retired at age 52, got a degree, in accounting, using his GI Bill and went to work as an accountant for an appliance store in Clearwater, Florida. The owner admitted to him that his books were a mess and my dad had them straightened out in short order.  |

Legal fees. He is being represented by Dennis Vacco, former US Attorney General of NY He has been asked the same exact questions by two separate panels. He can make more money - billing at a higher rate - in DC or NYC - than in Bflo NY. His wife received part of a gun in the mail last week as a threat. That would ruffle my feathers a bit. |
