My apologies to Linda and Elsabelle , but after seeing this message in the January thread, I decided to set up this month's thread now I am sitting here and have time. Feb 3, 2018 10:22:51 GMT -7 peachiceteas said:
linda we need a February thread! My February goals are all about getting 28 pages done, and meeting as many of the challenges as possible from 28-4-28. The photos I want to work with are all winter themed: hockey pages, Ukrainian New Years, a couple of birthdays. I also have a couple of left over pages from last fall to catch up on. Also have a couple of bd cards to make and I want to play with my new Twist Pop die set as well as my Minc. Still trying to get a handle on shaker cards, but not sure if I will make any of those this month. What are YOUR goals for this month?

Thank you grammadee ! This thread is going to keep me accountable. My main goal for this month is to finish my 2017 vacation album before I go on vacation this month. I just have about six pages to do, and then journaling, and I’ll be finished. Feeling determined to get this done! Good luck with everyone’s goals this month.

Thanks grammadee -I was so focused on 4-48-4 that I totally missed the new month's goal thread - oops My main goal is keeping up with the February challenges and hopefully finishing the 2017 album - I'm in December but DH JUST downloaded his phone so I may have to go back and shoehorn in a page here and there earlier in the year. Of course this is a busy month - I'm cookie mum for our GS troop as well as being the leader and I'm chairing the community Thinking Day event so Girl Scouts is keeping me very busy.

I want to participate some in the 28-4-28 challenges. I'd love to be able to have time to do all the challenges, but I think that's a pipe dream and not a realistic goal.
More pipe dreams: - finish a video editing class, only a quarter of the way through. - edit some photos for printing. - finish sewing pj bottoms for my son that was suppose to be finished at Christmas. hahaha *back up photos.

I'm so grateful for this thread. Last month's really helped keep me on track. So let's see what February brings!
1) Send at least 25 cards to the February Ronald McDonald House 2) Send at least 25 cards to the March Ronald McDonald House (the same person is collecting for both months so why not try to save some mailing costs, right?) 3) Send at least 25 cards to the February Cards for a Cause 4) Replenish stash of kids' birthday cards, thank you cards and encouragement cards (I estimate I'll need to create around 100 cards total - month to date - 6 kid birthday, 6 thank you)
That's it - it's a short month.

I finished my pregnancy/birth album a few days ago (seriously, in 16 years of scrapbooking it's the only album I've ever completed)- I just want to go back and glue the back-to-back photos together because I feel like they shift a bit in the pocket pages.
1. Order extra page protectors for our Florida album (got a bunch of the Design 3 on clearance, still need more Design 2) 2. Order the album for Florida 3. Sort ALL the Florida photos and put them in the slots (I sorted ALL of them, put 2/3 in the slots but then ran out of protectors) 4. Cut and insert all the patterned papers in the extra slots (As above, I cut and inserted the papers into every pocked that I had) 5. Upload all of the January (minus the Florida) photos from both the camera and my phone and my husband's to Persnickety even if I don't order them 6. IF I get this far, type up the Florida journaling- this is mostly a bonus goal (I've typed up 1/2 of the total journaling and I'm going to print it later)
Updated with progress 2/11

Thank you for this new thread. In February, I hope to: *finish organizing my photos. (almost done.) I have years and years' (decades is more like it!) worth of them. It's time-consuming and I'm not sure when it will be finally over, but I hope to be done by the end of the month. Just sorting them makes me feel good as I put aside the pictures and events I will scrapbook soon and one day (or will not). *Finish organizing my craft space. I need to find a way to organize my embellishments and my christmas supllies, otherwise it is almost done. It can be perfected, but for now it works. *Finish my DD. *Complete my niece's first and second birthday. She's three! I'm scrapping 8x8. This year I'm determined to finish all the projects that I started. I'm starting with the ones that are more meaningful to me. ETA March 1st: I'm almost done organizing my photos. I need two Helmer pieces of furniture from Ikea and a few baskets to finish. As for my niece's birthday layouts, I prepped both album. I'm moving these goals to March.

I want to participate some in the 28-4-28 challenges. I'd love to be able to have time to do all the challenges, but I think that's a pipe dream and not a realistic goal. 12 pages completed with 5 challenges and 1 freestyle. I still hope to get a couple more finished before the end of the month. More pipe dreams: - finish a video editing class, only a quarter of the way through. Done- edit some photos for printing. I started this in January with June 1, 2017 photos. I've been trying to do a couple of days of editing each day, but haven't been successful. Currently on August 4th, so progress. Everything finished by the end of the month gets printed, so I can prep for a day crop in March. - finish sewing pj bottoms for my son that was suppose to be finished at Christmas. hahaha*back up photos. Just checking in to keep myself on track for what I needed to get done.

I had so many goals going into February, but I've had to give them up for the most part due to illnesses going around in my family - it was my turn to be sick last week and I'm just starting to get a bit of energy back finally - but not much!
So, right now if I can keep up with knitting my temperature blanket I'll be happy. This weekend is a long weekend, so I hope to clean my scraproom out a bit.
If I can get my OLW done for the month I'll be happy, too.
I had to give up goals of: the February challenges, PL, getting a jump on birthday cards for next month, my Story of the Month kit, and a few regular 12x12 pages. Plus I wanted to make a pom-pom garland. I'll just move those goals to March.

I need to find a way to organize my embellishments and my christmas supllies, Let me know if you come up with a solution - I have a ton of Christmas supplies that I'd like to organize and put out of the way until later in the year.

My goal is just to get some pages scrapped. A secondary goal is to totally put together, with pictures, my SG kits for February before the next kits come. I have been working on some of the February challenges and really enjoying them.

I need to find a way to organize my embellishments and my christmas supllies, Let me know if you come up with a solution - I have a ton of Christmas supplies that I'd like to organize and put out of the way until later in the year. I'm afraid I went with the simplest thing I could come up with. I bought a Tjena box at Ikea (this one www.ikea.com/fr/fr/catalog/products/60395428 though mine is duck blue) and plastic bags in tiny, small, medium and large sizes from this brand ( www.amazon.fr/Unipapel-29160220-Pack-Sacs-fermeture/dp/B00LA1L19W/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1518796847&sr=8-10&keywords=unipapel ). I sorted my huge stash of supplies as I went through them--stamps, 6x4 and 3x4 cards, 6x6 paper pads, enveloppes, tags, etc. I had so much that each of the categories fit the biggest plastic bags! My Tjena box is full (it fit two rows of plastic bags), but not so full that I can't find what I'm looking for. For now, it works. ETA: But the lid doesn't quite close. It's good enough for me, but you might not like that. Also, my 12x12 papers and larger scraps were already organized in a Cropper Hopper (this one www.variationscreatives.fr/rangement-pages-papiers/63629-organiseur-a-papiers.html) in an Expedit just above the Tjena box so I didn't need a bigger box. Just so you know that 12x12 don't fit in that one.

Well, I'm not doing quite as well as Linda, but I finished October 2017 in my monthly pocket page album, and I'm almost caught up with February 2018. Will try and get November 2017 done this week if possible....or at least get a good start on it.

I'm sure it was close to 100. I completely replenished my thank you cards (which should last about 3 months) but I have more kid birthday cards on my to do list.
That's it - it's a short month. A very successful month!
