I went down the rabbit hole of Pinterest and saw the perfect sized mini butterflies! I sort of have a thing for them and I can be a bit picky about how they look. I found it was the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch. Of course it's discontinued and I searched everywhere! FYI, there is currently one listed on e-bay. Today I was looking through completed birthday layouts and low and behold there was one of those cute mini butterflies on my daughter's page. Then the duh moment! I own that punch and I even have a small drawer where I've punched extra butterflies. It's almost as bad as purchasing 2 spider web die cuts from Amazon in the same order.

So nice, I bought it twice!
For me it was an alphabet stamp set. And a couple of sticker packs. And a 6x6 pad. Don't let me keep going on this.

I have purchased the same super hero stamp set from CTMH twice, within a week of each other. 🙄

I have lots of "doubles". That's how I find things. If I just can't find what I'm looking for, I call it a U2 moment, I go buy another and the lost item is right there on the counter or bench or table. I was looking for sketch book last night and I found a Gel Plate I bought 4 years ago, unused still in its' original packaging.

I aspire to have that much stuff one day too. I thought of another one. I have two 1/2" circle punches.

I placed an order with Scrapbook.com recently and accidentally ordered 2 different sets of thickers twice. I will use them, but how did I do that?
I also bought a Maggie Holmes paper pad from Micheals and got home and realized I already had it.

I am constantly either looking for something I am SURE I have, or discovering that what I just purchased is already in my stash.
This last one happens most when I don't allow myself to buy the item the first time. Then I end up getting it later as part of another shopping trip (Maybe it was on sale, or I was just a little bit more lax with the purse strings). If I get it the first time and use it right away I remember it. If I get it later, I may not use it as quickly and then I remember standing in the store looking at it, but somehow not the purchasing part.

Many times. I have had double sets of dies and punches. At least it confirms I REALLY liked them to begin with

Ummmm.... a stamp set I bought about 2 weeks ago (while I was frozen), and then last week I discovered I already owned it! I totally forgot.

I just realized I purchased the same embossing folder twice. In the same order! They’re already on their way so I guess I’ll just have to use it twice as much.

Yes -- I have a couple of the 12x12 paper pads from Shimelle's lines from JoAnn's sales, more than one 6x6 pad of Bloom, two of the Grand Blossom QuikKuts alphabets. Lord only know what all else is doubled! I have several trimmers -- but that is on purpose. Unfortunately ... I do this in the kitchen as well. Currently I have two bottles of oregano and who knows how much nutmeg!

I have a lot of supplies. I am pretty good about keeping updated lists on the computer that I keep in my purse. The one thing I don't generally keep track of is paper. The other day I saw a fun line and almost ordered it. I found it on my shelf two days later.

I was going through my oxide collection and I bought iced spruce twice! ugh this is not something I need two of. Lol...I bought 2 of that exact same color and that was my exact same reaction. It couldn't have been a more useful color like Mermaid Lagoon or Candied Apple, it had to be the ugliest color in the set that I'll almost never use and only bought because it fulfilled my OCD need to complete the set.

Ha! I find it one of the most versatile colors. A little green, a little gray.

Can't think of anything I've forgotten, but I do sometimes think I own something and then realise I never bought it or whatever. Wishful thinking maybe?

DH is a volunteer firefighter and gave me some pics to scrap for him. I went to Michaels and bought a set of firefighter stickers and got home to discover I already had that exact same set of stickers. Oh, well. Set number two was on clearance and there's only so many firefighter stickers. I'll use both sets!

For me it was an alphabet stamp set. I will frequently buy double sets of alpha stamps so when I'm spelling out words I have those extras to build the word without stamping around missing letters because you needed that letter 2x. I've done this at least once with stencils, paint, and inks. But my biggest buy more than once is with digital supplies. Most stores I shop at don't have the "you already own this" on their site. I've started keeping a list. Of course, it only works if you update it when you buy. So since starting the list, I still bought 2 kits twice due to the whole not updating thing.

Yes. Dies and stamps! Thank goodness I have friends who scrap. They get the doubles for their birthdays.

This is NSBR, but as of today I own THREE copies of "Trial Prep for Paralegals." I guess if I'd just read the darned thing I'd remember I owned it and stop ordering another copy!

BTDT more than I really want to admit. I’ve bought doubles of stamp sets that I found at scrappy garage sales because I didn’t realize I found (and bought) that same exact thing last time. I’ve bought doubles of alphabet stamp sets on purpose for the reason mentioned, to be able to stamp a whole word at once, but that’s a little different. Doubles of basic punch shapes because the original button punches sucked and the thumb press kind were so much better. But the one I’m most embarrassed by was the set of stitched rectangle thin dies that I didn’t even realize I had. I’ve looked at them in the store multiple times and didn’t buy, didn’t buy, didn’t buy. Almost ordered a set online, and then didn’t because of the cost. Fast forward a few months and I was working on something else and going through my dies, and what the what? I must have pulled the trigger at some point and totally spaced it because I *DO* have a set of them that I didn’t even know I had, and here I could have used them more than a dozen times but didn’t ever remember buying them!

Mine was a Graphiv 45 collection. I found it on sale and loved the colors so I bought it. Bet you can’t guess what I found in my stash. I’d purchased it months before and hadn’t scrapped for a long while.

See! It's papercrafters, not those politicians, who keep the economy moving. And you'll notice that even if you claim you have "no room", you still have room for those pesky doubles.

I bought two different dies twice on AX. Thank goodness they are cheap ones. I just placed an order for Concord and 9th stamps and realized in time to cancel that i reordered a turnabout stamp! How could I have forgotten something like that?..
