Great page, MDscrapaholic! It DOES look like a Christmas quilt! I love that the colours of your squares echo those of the stockings hung with care.

Here's mine Excellent page! I love the colours, and the title. I like your repeating paper diamonds too. It brought back memories as I used to ride when I was younger. Always the biggest horses too

jane I loved your template. I decided to use vellum for the squares. I love how it softens this paper. It was really difficult to get a good photo of it between the vellum , the glitter and the gold foil. The photos are my girls last St. Patrick's Day. What a great idea to use vellum over patterned paper. I love the photo too, what lovely smiles, it all works so well together

Here's my attempt at the Template Tuesday for week 1 It gave me fits the entire way I used screen shots from the tv since we could not see it here doing the heavy clouded sky. eclipse layout-2 by Cindy Blair, on Flickr I'm sorry it gave you fits - but look at what a super page it is! It is so striking, I think it's fabulous

JaneB This was a tough challenge! I changed it up a bit. Since my squares were so busy, I used journaling strips in place of words on the squares. Template Tuesday 1 by Mikk Lynn, on Flickr I like the busyness of the squares, especially the dark blue with the white writing, it provides great contrast. Marvellous page

Here is my page for this challenge. There's a process video as well. You can see it here. Love your page Alyssa, and enjoyed the video. It was quite exciting to see my template coming to life, and not just a finished page. You made it look easy, and I do like the theme, not liking Valentine's.

Here is my submission for the Template Tuesday Challenge - I really like this template. I have been struggling on how to scrap these kitty photos, I had the 6 x 6 smitten kitten paper pad and some stickers and embellishments but was just not inspired and so the photos (in this case placeholder photos) sat un-scrapped. When I saw this template the light bulb went off and I new it would work for these photos.

stinkerbelle - well you should like the result that is one stunning page! @ grammadee - WOW, this page is gorgeous. I love the way those diamonds pop off that dark background. Love the companion page. @ elaynef - lucky recipient of that beautiful card - you did a fantastic job nylene - well you didn't stray to far from the template in my opinion, this is a wonderful page and love all the small patin - Another wonderful page using the dark background (think I will have to do another one of these), this is outstanding. woodysbetty - darling, absolutely darling. msliz - great take on the original, and they do look like fireworks. kiwigirl - Great page, love all the mixed media work on the background KikiPea - wonderful page, the use of all those photos is fantastic. Chinagirl828 - So elegant, this is a wonderful page. justjac - I don't think it is color overload, I love the look and feel of this page. It feels really comfy. crystalb - I think this is a great take on the template - sorry you are feeling ill you page does not convey that, you did a great job. @ scrapincin - What a great way to use this template (pardon the pun) but this layout is "OUT OF THIS WORLD" @ jeremysgirl - love your take on this page, never thought of limiting the paper choices and doing a more "matchy" placement. Love it. @ DawnMcD - What a clever way to interpret this template. This is a GREAT idea and i will be trying this soon. @ mikklynn - I love your take on the template, great page MDscrapaholic - awesome! @ thracian - again, loving the pop when doing this on black, your page is so vibrate and alive! JaneB - I think this was an absolutely awesome choice for a challenge. And there are so many great way to us this design as displayed by all the pages submitted. I think you did a fabulous job of mirroring the template, even down to the photo mats being opposite colours. All the small details that make a page work. It's wonderful. I'm glad you like the template; I might use it again myself!

Thanks for the template, JaneB. I love using templates for digital pages and just altering them to suit my needs. Bonus here, as I didn't need to alter much, just the photo size. I love any time I get to use mass quantities of pattern paper. dSugar-Cookies by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr

I think it's great. I like changing out the squares with photos, plain and patterned paper. And you have balanced it well with the facing page and it's single photo. I hope it grows on you

I think it was extra challenging because I didn't really have the color paper I wanted and part of this entire February challenge for me is to not buy anything for the layouts. So far so good.
