I have been pretty consistent on buying the new things from ACOT but the last couple of times they have taken FOREVER getting the new collections in. I typically have pre-ordered but then I'm stuck with that order while watching other online sites get the new stuff in. I'm not overly patient lol. I would love another option and I know there's a million places but I'd still love to hear what the peas have to say.

I was loyal to ACOT until my preorders last time took FOREVER. I now try to order from PaperIssues first. Then I will order from ACOT or Scrapbook.com for things that PaperIssues won’t carry.

I've been taking advantage of the free International postage for pre orders from Mei Li Paperie, who ship (very efficiently) from Hong Kong, but then I'm in the UK and don't have quite so many options!

I've been shopping at ACOT almost exclusively. I agree, pre-orders take forever.

Well, in the UK, and since I'm on the DT, you should definitely order from Hey Little Magpie! I just got a massive box of Maggie Holmes Flourish for my March 1st blog post. I wish it was a bit brighter but I do love the embellishments, the Standout Layered Stickers are super lush!

We are still lucky enough to have LSS's where we can pick up the lines they order. A couple of them offer preorders at a discount.
Smaller stores tend to get the last shipments of preorders from the manufacturers, so we are not the first to get anything, but I still love dropping in and looking at the stuff that is new to the store before I buy it.

I'm also lucky enough to have a fantastic LSS just an hour away. I plan to buy individual papers and just a few embellishments, rather than whole collections of anything. There's a lot that I like, but I'm only going to buy what I can reasonably use.

The 20% off preorders at ACOT is too good to resist, so I just try to be patient. So far there is not much that's compelling me, mostly because I have SO MUCH PAPER. My Cocoa Daisy kit is satisfying my urge for now.

ACOT is my first and primary for both pre-order and other releases.

i mostly stick with ACOT. i don't care if the preorders take forever; it's more important to me to know i'll be getting the pieces i loved the most. i like scrapbook.com too, but have to pay tax as we're both in AZ so i only go to them if i'm desperate for something.

I usually go with ACOT, even knowing that my stuff won't be here until March. 20% off is a good deal and it's not like I have nothing to use in the meantime, hah! OTOH, there was some stuff that ACOT still doesn't have listed (like the new Dear Lizzy), or it's already out of stock (like the new Pink Paislee), or they just don't have it (like the exclusive Maggie Holmes stuff). So this time, I did two orders. ACOT will be here in March. My Scrapbook.com order - also discounted, mind - was ordered yesterday and shipped today because they already have everything in stock. Next time I might just go with them for everything.

I rarely buy collections right when they come out any more. But when I do, I generally go with Paper Issues.

Paper issues and I can count on stuff in my Citrus twist kit so I’ve been holding back on buying ASAP. I haven’t bought from acot in foreeeever after an order that was in shock took over two weeks to ship out. At PI, she can get stuff out same day and it’s here in 48 hours. Unless she’s closed but she lets us know that we’ll in advance so there’s no surprises.

I have an LSS that will order for me if they don’t carry it. That’s how I got the Paige Evans 2x2 swatch pads last year. My LSS carries most major lines so I at least get to feel and touch stuff. I’m quite thankful for them after losing Archiver’s. They also host a ton of crops. I may be in fly over country but I have great shopping options here.

I'm with elegantsufficiency I use Mei Li Paperie, shipping is free and even though they typically charge $25c to $50c more per item, I am usually not buying that much from a release so the additional cost per item is more than offset by shipping charges elsewhere and they ship really promptly and the packaging is cute! I tried ACOT and I had the same experience. Waiting forever!! I'm US based

I usually order from Scrapbook.com and Amazon. I would love to support my LSS (over an hour away) more, but she refuses to deal with American Crafts. That is, of course, her choice; but it limits her stock significantly, and it forces me to buy these items elsewhere.

I order from Scrapbook.com. Admittedly they sometimes get things in a couple weeks after ATOC but I’ve been ordering from them forever and their shipping is quick.

I don’t buy a lot of new collections but would probably pre-order or order from Mei Li Paperie in Hong Kong first because of the free international shipping.

I hear you on preordering. I rarely do it and every time I have I've regretted it. I preordered the new Distress Oxides from my LSS and I'm hating how slow they are. I could have ordered them from Paper Issues last week and had them already. Went by my LSS today and it's going to be another 3-4 day as they just arrived today and have to be unpacked and entered into the system.
