We got 6” last night. DH got up and flew to work. Not even sure where he went. I’m surprised there were no delays.
It took me 2 hours to shovel. But an amazing teacher on snow day with a monster snow blower finished it off for me. Our blower is a baby and wouldn’t work in this. Our driveway is long.
Then the guy across the street blew the snow from the street in front of our houses. We never see a snow plow.
No work on the kitchen today. So no cooking. Not the taco place either. So no idea.
Hope your son feels better.

For our dining pleasure this evening we will be enjoying food, it has reached that time in the week where I am running out of ideas for meals.....we have goulash, pork chops, hamburger, and other food type items in the refrigerator.....we will eat something....a good ole fashioned fend for yourself night.

The Barbacoa Beef shredded very easily and seems very tender!!!! Fingers crossed it tastes good tomorrow

Come visit me, you guys. It's going to be 70 degrees here again today.  littlemama jeremysgirl And those puppies are freakin' adorable, scrappert .  ETA don't worry, this nice weather isn't going to last. It will go back to being winter in a few days. But no snow and almost no ice, ever. And, sadly, no rain very often.  The snow pack is dismal this year. Right-o. I do wish we'd get some rain ... meaning snow in the mountains. |

Chicken taco soup. It's a recipe called 7 can taco soup. I skip the canned chicken and use leftover shredded chicken for it. With cheddar cheese, broken tortilla chips and sour cream, it's comfort food and perfect for cold snowy weather.

I would NOT be able to get any work done with those cuties there !!! tuesdaysgone....SO glad that your DH feels better today!  ***** ((hugs)) to anyone who needs one ******* I'm not sure what we're having. DH is craving chicken tortilla soup, and I have everything to make it EXCEPT some fresh cilantro....I don't wanna run to the store, but without the cilantro, it wouldn't be any good.

I am making BBQ pork tenderloin with salad, green beans and maybe I will roast tomatoes. I am not motivated enough to start them yet but I still have an hour before I need to start making them. I can procrastinate for another hour. Yay!

I made baked chicken quesadillas and zoodles I guess that doesn’t go together but it was good to me.
Weather sucks
My job jst did something that will make my life heck going forward and I’m not allowed to post about my job online so I can’t really vent. But suffice to say my life jst got more stressful for no reason

hop2, that just stinks. Is this something you can fight or are you just plain stuck? littlemama, why do drivers think that the rules don't apply to them? I can go 70 in a snowstorm and I'll be the lucky one. Newsflash, life doesn't work that way. desertgirl and other peas wishing ds well, thank you. He'll be fine and this is very minor. scrappert, are those sweet little doggies rescue puppies? I want a service dog, a real service dog, not an aardvark that I can bring on a plane. However, dh has enough people/pets to take care of and I don't want to add to the load. All cats and dogs need loving forever homes and I hope those little guys are eithe rin a great forever home or find those homes, right away.
