A friend of mine just recently posted this & I thought, "My page is private so that can't happen to me!". Well, it did! I had over 54 foreigners following me. WEIRD!! I blocked/deleted them all and I'll continue to check it. Stupid Facebook. I'm 1" from deleting it. Stupid Zuckerberg with his algorithms being so secretive. He sucks and so does Facebook. Time to boycott them and move to Insta as an alternative. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, FaceBook owns Instagram, too. |

But Zuckerberg owns Insta too. Oh no! There goes that idea! I'll have much more time to clean and get things done without social media! Thanks. If it wasn't for my FB groups I would probably be done with FB. IG a lot better IMO...there is no grey area there I feel. You block people they're blocked..you can be private and no one (other than your followers you allow) can see anything on your IG feed period. You can get DMs which are just like FB version of PMs. When you're private you have to allow people to follow you (it's most or less accepting a friend request like on FB). |

THANKS*** The whole Russian thing doesn't sit well with me. Zuckerberg and the people he chooses to work for him all seem to be cut from the same cloth, and unfortunately my nephew is one of them. It's a lot of personal info, but I'm not too happy about my nephew and am detesting Zuckerberg and Facebook more each day. The difficult part is that I have a lot of close friends on there and it's easier just to click and talk. I don't use my cellphone for too much (I'm on a pay-as-you-go plan that's about $17/mo), so when I log online, I get to chat with friends and my family. I'd miss that..... My page is private. I only get PMs on Facebook from people I know, otherwise I don't check them. I'll figure out what I'll do soon enough. I am in IG, but I rarely go on. Maybe I will, but if I get annoyed enough with the idea of FB/IG, I'll just ditch it. Thanks for the info though! |

Following is an option you turned on. I checked and the 100 people listed are people I am following, public figures with public pages so I get their updates without them being my friend and seeing my page.
