Thanks! I ended up ordering some of the Adidas courtset shoes and another pair of Adidas from Kohls. Hopefully one of them works well! I'm a little worried about keeping the suede ones clean, though. Any issues with that? Buy a spray on suede sealer. It may darken the color slightly, but that's going to happen at the toes anyway if you don't spray them. Mine are the pink and I just don't wear them in the rain, especially this time of year when water is dirty on the streets. |

I wear gray chucks, low-top. I always wear inserts because they are very flat.

I wear adidas. Gold Stan smiths. My little dd loved them and when I found her a pair at maceys on clearance in her size I bought her the matcha pair to mine. My older dd wears silver superstars and they’re cute too. I didn’t want the stripes so I ended up with the Stan smiths.
The Stan smiths are a bit more narrow than the superstars which is why younger dd and I prefer them.

I have some slip on converse that I got last summer and didn't wear them much because they were uncomfortable. They aren't warm enough right now, but I would love a way to make them more comfy for the summer. |

I use those Dr. Scholl's gel inserts from Target in all my Converse, which I've found makes them so comfortable I was shocked--I can wear them all day college touring and city sightseeing without any problems. Mine are the lace ups, both high top and regular. I also have an assortment of Van's slip ons, some of which are really comfortable, and some cause blisters. I also have a pair of Adidas superstars and a couple of pairs of retro New Balance sneaks. |

These are cute. How is the sizing for Adidas shoes? I was looking at a few pair online. I think they're pretty close to true-size, maybe a tad big. My Adidas are size 8 and I usually wear an 8 or 8.5. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and wear an 8 in Adidas. |

I have them in a 7-1/2 which is true-to-size for me and I also have narrower feet. These fit perfectly. (I know what you mean though - I have difficulty with lots of flip flops because the straps are just too loose on me to hold the shoes on - I think my feet aren't very "thick" either.) The pattern I have is Geometric Rose designed by a Russian artist, Ignateva Irina. |

Ooh good thread I have been wanting some new tennis shoes for the same type of outfit! I love stealing DD's Vans and need to get myself a pair. I have also been eyeballing the toms lace ups - I think they are SO cute! Do y'all remember Tretorns? They were big in middle school around here in the late 80's. I haven't thought about them in years until I saw a pic of Jennifer Anniston wearing them with some torn up jeans a t shirt a week or so ago. Super cute outfit. I found them online and still have the window open with them in a cart while I waffle for days about whether or not to buy them  (That's how I always online shop) |
