Have you been using the recollections brand or the Bazzill piece by piece (i think the official color name is avalanche white)?
Are you needing 12x12 or 8.5x11?
Lately, I have been using American Crafts Heavy Weight (126 gsm / 80 lb cover) 60 loose sheets 12x12 textured solid core cardstock It is an exact match to the white textured cardstock Scrapbook Generations uses in their kits. I am really loving it.
It feels and acts like Bazzill textured cardstock. I would have thought it was Bazzill except it is still its original packaging. I purchased it at least three years ago, so in the spirit of full discloser and maybe the quality has changed.
Right now scrapbook.com has Bazzill white. Joanns (online only) has American Crafts white and it is 50% off as of today feb 15.

I bought Neenah cardstock both the 110lb and the 80 lb on Amazon. Love it for cards but it's really thick. I still use 65lb recollection white cardstock for a lot of things but not card bases.

I've been purchasing Bazzill by the package from Amazon. I love Bazzill. BUT, these come with the bar code on an extension of the cardstock that I have to cut off with my trimmer before I can put it in a printer...very annoying and I am now looking for a new source of Bazzill.

Thanks to the Peas I've been buying Recollections 110# version for card bases. I think it's just as good as Neenah 110# , especially if it's just a base with a stamped sentiment on the inside and much cheaper if you use a coupon. I also buy the black version, too.
For stamped images that I color or stamp with colored ink, I only use Neenah Solar White 80# Cover. I buy it by the ream from Amazon.
I use Bristol Smooth if I'm using my Zig RealBrush markers and Canson XL (it's an off-white) for watercolors or Oxides.
And FWIW, I use MFT or LF 100# colored cardstock for colored bases. And Neenah Desert Storm for Kraft, 80# and 100#.
If you want to try the Neenah, SSS has 15% off their entire site until Feb 18th at 11:59pm EST with the code HAPPY584

I actually find the Neenah a bit too thick when I am folding it.

Since American Crafts bought Bazzill, I have stopped buying it unless it is some of the pre-AC acquisition stock which you can still find on clearance in some places. As usual American Crafts promises nothing will change when they take over a company with good quality products, but as soon as the original stock is depleted, here comes the crappy junk or else they just discontinue the brand all together. The American Crafts "Bazzill" to me seems very, very thin and flimsy, plus the colors are much more limited and muddy looking. I buy Papertrey Ink white 110 lb and have for years. I make cards and craft projects and it works great for me on card bases, die cutting, copic coloring, Prismacolor Pencils and OMS and watercolor pencils. I have tried many other kinds and they just don't give me the same ease of use and finished product as the Papertrey brand. It is normally the only thing I buy from them and to me worth hazarding their sometimes less than stellar customer service.

I use the bright white Georgia Pacific cardstock. I purchase it from WalMart. It's thick, white, and very smooth.

I like it because it's a good sturdy base and top folding cards stand up and don't flatten.

Giantsfan & PrettyInPeank Thank you for the replies. I do appreciate it. I will grab a ream of Recollections the next time I am near Michael's. One can never have too much white paper.
