I prefer album flip throughs, embellishment DIYs, and shorter traditional process videos. I consider it a short video if it's 10-15 minutes. What do you consider a long or short video? What videos do you like to watch?

I think of shorter videos as being under 15mins. There are plenty of videos that fall in the 1hr range (some of the Nicole Jones and Nic Mackin ones get quite long, along with Shimelle's Friday Live ones) which I often watch in multiple sittings.
I generally watch process videos but I love watching Nic Mackin's kit making videos - she puts stuff together I would never think to combine and it's encouraged me to try using smaller kits on occasion.
I also think there's a place for good haul videos of the type where the product is really shown. As someone who buys almost exclusively online it can be really hard to tell scale and actual colour of products, and in die cut packs it's near impossible to find out what is in them so I use haul videos to get a better feel for the product.

I'm a simple scrapper. I'm typically not interested in youtube videos. When I have tried to watch them in the past, there was too much product promotion and rambling about things not related to the page. I haven't made an effort to find people I like. I prefer Pinterest to look at pages and copy from there. I guess I'd pick the DIY/technique videos. I don't mind those to be 10-15 minutes.

My absolute favorite videos are the layout share videos. All the layout made from a kit, or made that month, or at a retreat.
I don't mind longer videos and will watch them, but prefer 30 minutes or less.

I usually skip ahead multiple times in long process videos. Certain people (not naming names) whose work I like and who to tend to make longer videos have very soothing voices and I will nod right off. I don't need a lot of explanation, just inspiration. As an example, I would say that Victoria Marie has the perfect type and length of videos for me. She gives some of her thought process, speeds things up so we don't have to watch every moment in real time, and voila.
I like album flips too, though again, I don't need a lot of exposition. I just want to see the pages.

I like long and short scrappy videos.
Long ones for when I am scrapping or I have a lot of time. Short ones for when I am getting ready in the morning or just have a moment for fun scrappiness.

I like videos that are 10 to 15 minutes in length.
I also voted "other" because I love to watch traveler's notebook videos.

I selected a bunch, but the only one of interest that I didn't select that I would like to see is the DIY embellishment videos. It would appear that no one I follow makes those videos (except for Adele/Inkie Quill and that is only on her Patreon...my physical kits cost less than her video level, so I haven't yet joined up but I might one day for a month or two to see how I like the extra content) otherwise I would probably love those videos, too.

I will only watch longer than 15 min if it's a technique or artist that already interests me. I prefer short technique videos without a lot of aaaahs or ummmmms or other wasted time. Jennifer McGuire is great.
I have seen very few haul videos that were worth the time. I really want to see the products, not 10 minutes of look-for-the-scissors-so-I-can-open-the-box. Once in awhile there's a fun one.

Long process if I want them on in the background. Short if I'm looking for particular ideas. Some haul videos and DIY videos.
Love card vidoes and watch them the most.

Lately I’m hooked on 10-Card, 1 Kit videos. Even if I don’t have the kits, they are a good inspiration for creating cards from 6x6 pads.
I’m also enjoying videos of pocket-page scrapping for my Cocoa Daisy kits. And I still watch Glitter Girl videos every now and then. I can never get enough Shimelle!

I mostly watch layout process videos. They vary in length from 8-30 minutes. It’s terrible but I usually put them on when I go to bed so I generally fall asleep to them so the length I pick is sometimes based on how quickly I think I’ll fall asleep. I also like DIY embellishment videos. I’m not into haul videos.

I prefer shorter videos. At the moment I'm watching a lot of Jennifer McGuire card making videos because she has such great ideas. I also like scrapbook process videos as long as they're not too long. I do get frustrated with rambling commentaries and like it when people plan out what they'll say in advance and/or do a voiceover.

in general, i prefer photos and blog posts over videos. however, if i do watch video, if think shorter is better i love haul videos, ie: videos of unboxing a kit.

I have searched YouTube and found some channels I like, but nothing I love. It seems like they use kit subscriptions I don't have or want to subscribe to, uses 1 photo per page, makes mostly mini albums, or uses older stuff I can't go order or find anymore.
Can anyone recommend a channel who makes short process videos, generally uses mostly current stuff, and uses multiple photos in traditional layouts? (Bonus points if you provide a link!)

My favorite videos are kill a kit videos. With process videos I prefer a length around 15 minutes. With Shimelle videos I can handle longer. I do not like overly chatty ones and really can’t stand when the person’s cat just won’t stay out of the video.

I selected diy embellishment videos b/c I like to see how to use particular tools and products.
I like shorter process videos with voice overs. I don't need to hear all the chit chat while decisions are being made: just the final decisions and reasons for them.

I watch cards videos for the most part, and prefer videos to be about 15 minutes. Something I can watch while I eat lunch, but not so long I get restless and/or feel guilty about sitting around doing nothing. 30 mins is OK if it needs to be that long, 40 is pushing it, anything over an hour needs to be really compelling and will get broken up multiple times. I make an exception for Shimelle's live videos, which I watch even though I don't scrapbook and generally don't care for rambling chit chat videos (I wander off and/or do other things while I watch, but I love all of her videos). Not interested in multi-hour craftalongs.
I prefer voiceovers or concise explanations. I don't like watching without some explanation - I tend to nod off, and YT music drives me crazy but I also can't stand to completely mute it.
I'm pretty particular about videos, just because personality comes through so much and not everyone is for me, but I believe there's someone out there for every style of video. And some of the videos I don't like to watch are quite specifically about limiting triggers to shop. I never watch hauls and I would only watch an unboxing for something I already intended to buy (unless it's something I would never buy and the person's kid or husband does the voiceover and it's funny).
I love it when cats won't get out of the way. And Shimelle's Wonder Boy Friday Live was the best thing ever, even though his page was a hot mess and his design choices made me cringe!

I pretty much like them all. Well not haul videos as much unless I want to see more details of a product. I mostly watch to be entertained and inspired. I actually like a little chit chat and rambling. It is interesting to me to take a little peak into someones life. It is kinda like I am cropping with them. I do not mind voice overs but like live as well.

Thanks for mentioning this. I will look for them. I tend to not think outside the box so I could use a little help with that. I recommend her older videos. She has recently moved onto the Nicole Jones page kit set up which I don't find as inspiring. Her older videos generally go in pairs and show what she put into her kit in the first one and then all the layouts she made with that kit (along with what is left over) in the second video. I have seen very few haul videos that were worth the time. I really want to see the products, not 10 minutes of look-for-the-scissors-so-I-can-open-the-box. I agree! Jen Schow is pretty good at showing everything with minimal scissor hunting time. You do have to have a high tolerance for "cute" though as it feels like most of what she shows gets this descriptor. It’s terrible but I usually put them on when I go to bed so I generally fall asleep to them so the length I pick is sometimes based on how quickly I think I’ll fall asleep. No side eye from me - I often watch them last thing at night and totally choose based on length of time vs level of tiredness.

The only requierement I have for videos is that they are planned in advance and presented clearly. This is why I like Jennifer Macguire. The videos where I have to slog through someone hauing product out of bags, doesn’t have the needed materials ready to go and babble on about things other than the project drive me crazy. I also like stamp and die hauls that show what the product looks like cut or stamped out. That can sway my decision on whether to purchase that product.

Have a look at Audrey Yeager. Recently found her and am binge watching. I would love to see more of her ideas on more than 2 photos. I like her videos because she does different things (unlike some ladies that you can spot their signiatures in every LO) and they are short enough.

I like a variety of video types. My favorites are layout shares and/or kill-a-kit videos. I prefer shorter process videos (15 minutes or less) over the long ones, however, there are some scrappers that I don't mind going up to an hour or so.
There were a few scrappers that did a couple "what I used up" type videos (CHA ShawnScrapper is one I think did some of these), but I haven't seen any more of those recently. I enjoyed those, especially when they included the layouts so you could see how they incorporated the last of certain products on their layouts. This is similar to a kill-a-kit video, but different enough that I would like to see more of them.
I like haul videos, but only certain you-tubers seem to keep my interest on this topic. I don't usually like the mixed media hauls. I don't really get into the kit unboxing videos though. Unfortunately, my favorites haven't done many haul videos recently (Nicole Jones, Kitty Scrapper, Nic Mackin to name a few). I know Nicole Jones has really cut back since moving into her new house/scraproom.
I typically avoid project life videos.
I really miss Lina Witzner (previously Aurorainbag), luckily her channel is still up and you can still access her old videos.
