Kind of a spin off of my (delicious) black jelly bean thread, because I actually love all the Easter candies...
I say that Easter candy is the best of ALL candy. I was born and raised in KC, MO, so I love Russell Stover’s candy—especially the eggs: maple cream, raspberry cream, strawberry cream, COCONUT CREAM! This year, I found coconut caramel eggs—basically a caramel egg covered in chocolate with coconut in it (like the chocolate in the coconut nests—which I also love, but are not nearly as good since they stopped putting jelly bean eggs in them).
I also love Reese’s eggs, which are WAY better than regular Reese’s PB cups, which I think has to do with the chocolate/PB ratio.
I love Cadbury eggs, but can only eat about 1 per year. And I love peeps, but won’t buy them. So I steal them from my sister-in-law, who will.
And, of course, black jelly beans.
What is your favorite Easter candy?

My all time favorite is Cadbury Mini Eggs. Not the gooey eggs...those are nasty. I love the Reese’s eggs. There are many candies I’ve never tried, like the Dove Coconut eggs...those sound awesome.

How did I miss the Dove coconut eggs? Haven't seen those anywhere but I did buy a bag of the Dove peanut butter eggs today.
And I agree with pp about the fact that Reese's PB eggs are better than the regular pb cups. Much creamier imo. I've already stashed some for after Easter!

My grandmother worked for Mrs. Stover's in KC!! I have a recommendation letter from Mrs. Stover about my grandmother. Where did you live in KC?? (maybe I have asked in the past??) lol... but I am mainly from the Gladstone area (although I didn't live there my whole life) and lived a bit in Leawood. My favorite candy though is Robin Eggs. I love Cadbury Eggs, but only the caramel filled ones.

katybee, do you remember when you used to be able to get a box with see-through cellophane that was an assortment of the Russell Stover Easter candies? My grandma would always get those, and I was in charge of putting together the baskets. I always gave myself the coconut nests lol. I loved their jelly beans and their solid chocolate eggs better than anything! I'm trying not to think too much about candy this year since I'm doing WW and having success. On their plan currently, I swear 1 jelly bean is half my daily allowance.

As a sugar addict, I have 4 favorites: Reese's Peanut Butter eggs, Cadbury Mini Eggs, Cadbury Caramel Eggs and Lindt chocolate bunnies. If you get any and don't want them, send them to me!

Another vote for Mini Cadbury Eggs with the candy shell that smells like vanilla. I bought a huuuuuge bag at Sams last weekend after I already demolished the bag from Target I bought at the end of February. Also love the egg Reese’s and the other shapes they have for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine. They’re just better! They need to come out with some shapes to get us through the summer months.
But I’m out on the coconut candy 🤢🤮👎🏻 It’s just wrong.

I love Cadbury mini eggs but only the dark chocolate ones. The milk chocolate ones are too sweet. Funny enough, I also love the gooy Cadbury eggs which are tooth achingly sweet.
Most of my favorites though are more local to me. We have a local candy maker in town that has been around for more than a hundred years and we get a lot of our Easter candy from them. They make fabulous meltaways and oysters, which are my favorites. They also still use their old chocolate molds so we always have a variety of chocolate bunnies, lambs and chicks.

I worked at Russell Stover on a project for a year. There were racks of candy by the coffee maker and always candy at meetings. There was also a store where you could by stuff at cost to take home. I KNEW if I ever got started I would never stop. So I went the full year never having a single piece of chocolate. Until the last day. On the last day I pigged out like nobody’s business.
My favorite Easter candy are Cadbury cream eggs but I do love a good chocolate bunny.

My favorite used to be malted milk balls- then I found cadbury mini eggs and then this year I found caramel m&m's-- so I'm not sure which is my favorite, but a mix of the above would be great!!

All of it, except the dreaded black jelly beans! I didn't buy a lot of candy this year because DD still has a crap ton of Halloween candy ( HOW that happens is beyond me, LOL, the kid is a candy hoarder) and DH isn’t supposed to eat a bunch of candy anymore. I somehow missed getting a container of the mini gooey Cadbury eggs, we all like those. I bought a bag with mini candy bars (Snickers, Twix, etc.) to put in the eggs that the Bunny will hide, some of those Reese’s Pieces carrots, a Lindt Bunny for each of us, a bag of the hard shelled Cadbury eggs for DH and DD to share (I don’t like those), a bag of Peanut m&m’s for me and a pack of the bigger Reese’s PB eggs to share. I wanted to get another pack of cotton candy Peeps but the store I went to didn’t have any more of them. Boo! Oh, and a couple weeks ago I bought a big jar of Jelly Bellies to refill the dispenser that sits on my kitchen counter all the time. I dumped the whole jar into a tray and picked out all the black ones for my BIL, all the cappuccino ones for my sister and all the juicy pear ones which I just threw in the trash because they’re disgusting.

My favorite are little chocolate covered marshmallow bunnies and Reese's eggs. I agree it's the chocolate to peanut butter ratio that makes them SO awesome.
