I am so sorry for your loss, you expect it from one that is older, we lost one as well and he was only 5, he had the most beautiful GOLD eyes I have ever seen and we miss him...hugs

I'm so sorry - and this is all too familiar to me. I lost a dog, and a few years later a cat - to sudden heart issues. The cat had HCM, I was told, which is sometimes found in certain cat breeds. It was terribly shocking, and my heart goes out to you. Bad enough to lose our furry friends when we have some notice, but so much worse with none at all. Big hugs to you.

It is so helpful to log on and read your messages this morning. I miss him terribly and didn’t actually realize how much he was a part of my routine. The tears come and go, more come than go for now, but I know that eventually the pain will ease. I will work on posting a pic.
