I have been doing my LO's a day ahead mostly but today it's just too flippen hot here in England! I can't go in my craftroom cause it's stifling. It's a conservatory with a glass roof so! Usually in summer it's ok cause there's a big tree outside and it shades the room but that bugger hasn't bloomed yet so the sun is just streaming in. So I may fall behind a little until it cools down a bit! I know I feel bad about this and feel like I have to explain myself - and nobody else will give a hoot lol!

Hopefully you will get some relief from the heat soon, kiwigirl. Fortunately, there are a few extra days in May, so still lots of time to get the 26 done. You are not letting us down, but I have to admit I have been really enjoying seeing your intentional trip through the alphabet, and look forward to seeing your new page each day.

Fog this morning and I have to go and do some shopping, I'm sure the sun will come out once the fog lifts but it's not meant to be that hot today. I am doing H but it's following a sketch and it's quite involved. I'm also not loving it so we'll see where it goes lol!

I finished off H. It's H for hello and also Hey Little Magpie challenge cause I was following one of my fellow DRT members challenge for NSD, and this sketch.... The LO didn't work out quite how I wanted, I did want to layer up far more stuff behind the photos but oh well, this will do lol!

Wow! What an AMAZING page, kiwigirl! It may not have been exactly what you were going for, but it is GORGEOUS! Love all the yellows, and the translucent layers. Great take on the sketch! H is one of the letters I have yet to claim, and had not thought of HELLO. Might have to borrow that idea.

Oh grammadee those paint smears are superb! Did you do them? They're so awesome, great colours and is that magic mesh as well? I LOVE it! Here is K. K is for Kioshi (the old Basic Grey line, some of the flowers are Kioshi) and K&Co. I was really struggling to think of something for K. I even went through words starting with K online. Then I was like hang on a minute, I had loads of K&Co stickers at one stage.... where are they? So I went digging and I found a box of embellishments I haven't looked at for years! I hit the jackpot too. I found loads of K&Co, some Kioshi flowers and I even found something for J, Q and Z!!!! Soft embellishments box - for the win! I haven't journalled on this page cause I've done this photo before.... a few times. It's my Mum aged about 18 when she found out they put washing powder down the geyser to make it go off at the specific time. She's so not impressed!

Awesome page, kiwigirl. Hope you claimed it for Go Big or Go Home for that big title (which is perfect, by the way!) I painted those strips on my page with Dylusions paint. I attended a Dyan Reavely workshop a couple of years ago, and of course collected all the lovely little jars of paint. Love her vibrant colours. They don't show up in my photo of the page, even though it was sitting in direct sunlight. The paints are starting to thicken up now, so I need to use them before they are useless.

I have a few of the spray inks and I love them, such vibrant colours but I am really hankering after the paints too. you've done a great job with them, the stripes look fab!

I don't know my A, B, C's cause I did K before J! I sort of started them at the same time and got so excited yesterday when I found lots of K&Co and finished that one first. So here's today's J LO. J was going to be for Just Me (again) but I found some Jillibeans Soup coasters and used one on here. So J is for Jillibeans Soup.

That page is GORGEOUS, kiwigirl! love the pop of the neons against the black, and that beautiful doily. Talk to me about those stripey borders. Do you buy tons of that paper pattern? Where? Or do you cut strips from one or two sheets and use them on lots of pages? Here are a couple of pages I did for the Grab Glue & Go challenge: Always camera ready by Gramma Dee, on Flickr D b/c DEE is in these photos! And U for Uncut photos on the second page.

The stripey border paper is Maggie Holmes Carousel, Rose Park Paper and yes, I bought loads. I just this very minute ordered 20 more sheets lol! It's the perfect border I think but the thing is, I now have loads of the gutted middles hanging around hahaha! I use a lot of strips of it down the sides of photos etc.

Back to I today and I is for inks. I was waiting for these new inks to arrive from America. They're Lindy's Stamp Gang, Magicals and I had fun with them! I think they're an ink anyway, they're powders and you add water to make them work. I struggle so much making nice mixed media backgrounds but these are so simple, even an idiot like me can do it! I don't think the photo does this justice, there's lots of Nuvo dots on top of the inks which are on top of an embossing paste background. And some Hamblys and acrylic bits which it was a bit glary to get photos of properly. grammadee, it's that border - AGAIN!! It just makes the perfect border lol! And man, you are knocking the alphabet LO's out of the park! You go girl xXx

Wow grammadee , that's amazing! Love those big letters, the embossing looks fab! Way to go for your DD too, congratulations to her! Today's LO is L for Love. I used the Hello Love collection from Crate Paper and it came together super quick. So I'm also claiming a point for a couple more challenges too.

Another dynamic LO, kiwigirl ! I love how the black makes all the colours pop. And I love that marbly pink. LisaDV , did you get a chance to play with those marbling paints you ordered? I know this is a paper, but I would love to try that technique.

Here are two pages from today. I am claiming A for American Crafts cs, and H for HOCKEY (if that doesn't work there is a little plaid heart on there as well). Also claiming these pages for Word Up and Go Big or Go Home. Canadian Boys 2018 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr The cs is bright white. Have no idea why it looks so grungy here...

grammadee what a great design again! Love the banner behind the photos on the left and the Canadian banner on the right, awesome stuff! Today is M and it's me, me, me of course. I don't have much else to scrap, it's generally the cat, me or photos I've nicked off google! Love that Shimelle paper I used, I think I just ordered another 4 bits of it lol!

N is for Notes & Things and I very grudgingly cut into my stash! I wish I'd bought so much more of this collection, or Crate Paper releases Notes & Things 2.0! The Tenby word is actually gold but I struggled to get a photo this morning, it's very sunny and bright again (long may it last, it's been lush here in the Cotswolds lately!).

Here is my page for T: torn edges. Tearing paper has been a favorite technique of mine for quite a while, but I have not been doing as much of it lately. Seemed to work really well with this KaiserCraft pp whose design is a bunch of torn pieces of old book pages. And I chose THAT to represent all the reading my dd did to accomplish her Masters' Degree. She went to the ceremony alone, but I think it is neat that her dh & son watched it live on the laptop, and that they were able to text back and forth after she had received her degree. Of course she knows that nothing is official until she has sent me the photos! St FX grad by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I am also using this for justjac's Flower challenge, LisaDV's Go Big or Go Home challenge (5x7 photo), and Linda's iNSD ConGRADulations challenge.

Way to go grammadee 6 points from one LO!Love those flowers and again, a great design with fab big photos. I think paper tearing got harder when some of the manufacturers started using heavier weight papers. I found some old Crate Paper yesterday and it's so flimsy and thin compared to now. I find the heavier papers harder to tear and sometimes you end up with way too much white torn bit eh! Here's my O LO, I picked this photo cause I was going to do O for one but then I used the Open Book collection from Maggie Holmes. Very out of character for me too, I only used that collection and some Nuvos. Usually I'm adding all sorts in there but I stuck to just one collection. I have so much of it, no idea why cause it's a bit muted and dull, colourwise for me but I must have liked it at some stage cause I have masses of it!

Today is P and I did P for people. Famous People. It's only Ali and Heidi! So I used lots of Heidi stash on this, see the old ghost letters and I used one of my hoarded and loved, chipboard hearts. I would have used some Ali stash but the only thing I have is some stamps and well, I don't really stamp often and this LO didn't call for stamps either. This is also my scraplift challenge too so I shall go and add it over there now

Ok, Q is for quote and as stinkerbelle said about one of her LO's recently, it has salty language on it! I'm seeing if I can stick it in a spoiler? Ooh, I can, how cool is that!! So yes, Q is for quote and I loved this one. I was going to use 'I'm not overweight I'm just 9" too short' but when I started doing the LO, this one started going on the page lol! I found that old orange spot paper in cut to this size and I had to use it, I think it's Scenic Route or maybe Sassafrass?
