Gosh, I go through phases where I want candy and other times, it sits around so long I toss it out. I always love Razzles, black licorices (or candies that have black licorice like Good 'n Plenty), Haribo gummy bears (no generics!), dark chocolate but currently I am on a plain ole Hershey Chocolate bar kick. I buy a pack and keep them stashed in one of my craft drawers. From the sounds of my post i sound like a candy-oholic but really, i'm not.

Sweetarts...but the big ones you can't get any more that would last a whole day of gnawing on! Right now, I'm stuck on mini Starbursts!! Should have NEVER bought that first bag!

With the exception of a few flavors of jelly Belly jellybeans I mostly only like candy that is chocolate based. I don't have any favorite, just whatever strikes my fancy at the time.
I have not had candy in such a long time right now that the idea of eating some doesn't appeal to me at all. In fact I often find that if I haven't had a candy in many years, when I try it again I don't even like it. Rolos and peanut Reese's butter cups come to mind. I remember them to be much better than they seem to me now.

It's anything Lindt for me. There's a variety that I was able to buy on holiday in Florida, but it's not sold in the UK. This is actually a good thing. It's white chocolate with coconut and it's such a perfect combination that it has the same effect on me as (I imagine) crack cocaine would have. Instantly and totally addictive! My DD and I are back in Orlando in November, and pathetically, it's one of the things I'm most looking forward to.

As a homebased bakery, sweets don't appeal to me like they used to......lol.wonder why...but I love a good Butterfinger now and then.

Butterfinger Cups. Oh. My. Goodness! They are made of crack and I buy a package every time I go to the store. The filling is creamy with tiny little crunchy bits and the chocolate is the perfect fudgy balance to the creamy center.

Oh I craving chocolate now if it wouldn't melt from the store to home (it's 106 right now - yuck)....
But Jodi_S in Canada was my ss in my swap over summer & she sent me the most delicious coffee wafer type candy bar. Gosh I wish I would have kept the wrapper. What I wouldn't do for more...

Cadbury Mini Eggs. Not those big hollow chocolate eggs with the cream in them; the little chocolate nuggets covered with a chalky shell. Easter crack.

Chocolatewise, I love Hershey's dark chocolate bar with almonds. For my non-chocolate enjoyment I go with Paydays.

I'm a candy snob, seriously. We have leftover candy from Valentine's Day and Easter, maybe even some from Christmas. I need to go through the candy basket again. lol We're not big candy eaters, but people still gift us candy. We have Starburst, Smarties, Snickers, Hershey minatures, Kit Kat, 3 Musketeers, Cadbury bars, Laffy Taffy, Twix, and Blow Pops. None of it appeals to me. I like certain brands of caramels, dark chocolate caramels, and dark chocolate. I also like Bob's Peppermint sticks, Nips, and salt water taffy. Homemade candies are good too. My daughters and I make a cinnamon candy that tastes like snickerdoodle dough, and we also make dark chocolate peanut butter cups (because Reese's are nasty.) lol

Reese's PB cup. Preferably ones that have been in the freezer. ...in the freezer??? Charleston Chews. Especially the mini ones in the theater boxes. mmmmm crunch, snap, good Lately, I've been lovin' chocolate covered caramels with sea salt. Sweet, chewy and salty goodness! I had been rewarding myself with one when I'd have to have labs drawn so that it was something to look forward to besides the needle. Now I don't have to go as often, which is probably a good thing.

Red velvet chocolate covered cherries... They sell them at a candy store in our mall. They are dried cherries, not the ones with the goop in them. You had me going "yuk" until the end. Dried cherries, not the goop... sounds good. The goop ones...
