This creep is one of the creatures that crawled out from under the rock that trump turned over. No, this creep got his moment in the spotlight thanks to the almost 60,000 felons Terry McAuliffe restored voting rights and the right to run for office to back in 2016 just in time for the election along with the judge that only gave him 16 mos for threatening to kill the president instead of having him committed to a metal hospital where he actually belonged I have no problem with restoring rights to criminals who have served their time, and, as we used to quaintly say, paid their debt to society. Preventing 60,000 ex-felons from ever having the right to vote again is far too high a price to pay to ensure that this particular dickwad never attempts to run for office. The popular vote should ensure he never succeeds. If it doesn't, then that tells us all we need to know about those specific Republican voters.

I have no problem with it either however it should be done on a case by case basis not a blanket rubber stamping. This guy guy should have never had his rights restored

This creep is one of the creatures that crawled out from under the rock that trump turned over. No, this creep got his moment in the spotlight thanks to the almost 60,000 felons Terry McAuliffe restored voting rights and the right to run for office to back in 2016 just in time for the election along with the judge that only gave him 16 mos for threatening to kill the president instead of having him committed to a metal hospital where he actually belonged. He clearly mentions that the environment is ripe for him to run— "A lot of people are tired of political correctness and being constrained by it,” he told HuffPost. “People prefer when there’s an outsider who doesn’t have anything to lose and is willing to say what’s on a lot of people’s minds." (His exact words) While McAuliffe signed the order to allow those who have served their time the ability to vote again (and by the way congress has convicted felons and they vote, just sayin’) and in no way whatsoever did the order that McAuliffe signed permit him or give him the go ahead to be a pedophile, a rapist, a white supremacy —that’s ALL on him. The public as a whole should be outraged that someone—a professed pedophile, someone who believes women should be a man’s property, a white supremacy advocate, and that it’s A-okay to rape their wives (because you know, wives all dream of that fantasy), and that fathers should be allowed to have sex with their daughters/child is running for office to represent them. It’s too bad that the liberals have to spell it out for people, when the conservatives run like they’re on fire to blame the democrats.
