How often do you clean out your purse?

Weekly, I'd say. I usually change purses fairly frequently, but I got a D&B Mary Poppins one from Disneyland that I love, love, love, and I will probably keep using that all summer. At least!

About once a week. I carry very little in my purse so it's pretty easy to see something that doesn't need to be there.

I carry a very, very small purse - there is no room for "stuff" to accumulate, so I never really clean it out. I only have wallet, phone, keys and lip gloss in my purse. I pull receipts out when I get home from shopping.

Usually when I travel I clean out my purse because I'm trying to make sure I don't have anything tsa 'illegal' in there. So maybe once every 2 months? Sometimes longer.

Really the most I would clean out is spare change. I somehow accumulate a ton of it.. other than that there's not really much that I would take out/reorganize... I don't usually put receipts in there, they go in the bag with the thing I purchased or if I have the option I don't get a receipt (usually food, starbucks, etc.)

I’d say every few months I’ll go through it and pull out all the extra junk I end up stuffing in there that I ended up not needing. Usually anything that I know I’ll need to pull out gets stuck in the outside pocket (any receipts that need to be entered into the computer, stamps or other small things I’ve purchased that I didn’t need a bag for, etc.) and anything I’m hanging onto for longer goes in the inside zippered part (free wet wipes from the Chinese restaurant, monthly listing of the Flavor of the Day at Culver’s, coupons I might need if I happen to go shopping, etc.). Other things that have a permanent home in my purse live in small zippered mesh bags so they’re easier to find: assorted lip balm, a couple pens and some Post-It Notes, bandaids and ibuprofen, coins and paper bills, gift cards and store reward cards. My glasses, gum and mints go in other specific outside pockets, as does my car key remote fob, my house, mailbox and cabin keys, etc.

Not that often - when I can’t find something or I’m ready to switch to another bag?

When all kinds of misc papers like receipts, lists, etc start falling out when I open it up... I'm a neat freak about my house and car, not so much with my purse. Wish I was b/c it's embarassing when I open it to pay at a store and stuff is falling out all over the place!

When I change purses- every other week or so. Though I usually take receipts and lists out every day or so. I file my receipts according to month and it gets out of hand if I accumulate too many.

Once a week, maybe. When I realize I’m having to dig through too much crap to find my keys, phone, etc.
