Just finished The Thinnest Air by Minka Kent. This was a Kindle First Selection for June. It was an OK mystery for me; more mystery than thriller to me. 3/5 Stars.

For all the fans of Beartown by Fredrik Backman, book 2 came out today, Tuesday 6/5/18.
US AGAINST YOU (BEARTOWN BOOK 2) by Fredrik Backman. Beartown ice hockey might soon be disbanded. What makes it worse is the obvious satisfaction that all the former Beartown players take in that fact. A newcomer arrives who gives Beartown hockey a surprising new coach and a chance at a comeback. Team starts to take shape around Amat, the fastest player you’ll ever see; Benji, the intense lone wolf; always dutiful and eager-to-please Bobo; and Vidar, a born-to-be-bad troublemaker
I’m starting right now !

I'm reading The Killing Lessons for book club. I'm almost done (about 5 chapters left) and it's intense.

PRICE DROP ALERT : WEDNESDAY 6-6-18 THE GIRL BEFORE BY JP DELANEY SALE $2.99; reg 11.99
I think this was a TwoPeas Recommendation a few months ago.
Please make a list of every possession you consider essential to your life. The request seems odd, even intrusive on a questionnaire for an apartment rental and for the two women who answer, the consequences are devastating

I read the first memoir and listened to the 2nd. The first is beautifully written and very honest and open. The second is brutally honest and fascinating. It's the most honest memoir I have ever read by a member of the clergy. I've got an amazing amount of scrapbooking done this week because I didn't want to stop listening.

I finished “The Woman in the Window”. I could not put it down. So many twists and turns. Has anyone else read this book?

I finished “The Woman in the Window”. I could not put it down. So many twists and turns. Has anyone else read this book? I did. I am kind of burned out on psychological thrillers, but this was one of the better ones. I liked the pacing of the story.

I finished “The Woman in the Window”. I could not put it down. So many twists and turns. Has anyone else read this book? I thought it started off very slow. I actually gave-up on the sample. After hearing more and more people talk about it, I tried it again and was so glad I did. It took awhile to get into it, but once the twists & turns started they didn't stop. I ended up giving it 5 Stars.

I tried reading Trust by Pamela M. Kelley. I think it was a free one through Kindle. I could not get past the poor grammar in this book. I am far from a perfectionist, but I kept wanting to edit almost every sentence. It was not worth finishing.
ETA: I'm going to start reading The Aviator's Wife by Melanie Benjamin.

I just finished The Last Mrs. Parrish and I'm glad I stuck with it. The first part wasn't doing it for me, but then it turned. The Last Mrs. Parrish
