Did anybody use Mulberry paper in their layouts, around the mid-90's? I LOVED that stuff! I thought I was so artistic to wet the edges and fray it out... oh my gosh, my daughter's toddler album looks like a Mulberry plant exploded... Yes! I am organizing my scraproom after a move, and I keep coming across pieces of it. I totally understand what you say--I definitely overused it. I think we all did at the time. LOL. I'm still deciding if I will be able to use any of it. For now I'm keeping it as a layering possibility, but we'll see.

There's one on the wall in the lounge! Above the heart. I also have one on a little easel in my bedroom, I loved them! Mind you, I loved everything 7Gypsies at one stage, I was a massive fangirl. I remember doing a blog post about how much I loved them and they left me a comment, I was buzzing for days over that!!! ![](https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/35405920_10155696852003129_2415366058241163264_n.jpg?_nc_cat=0&oh=f3a70c4a0cca25b74395a643a4064b80&oe=5BC29B5C) Love that tray!! I have one in the 1/2 bath with soft beachy themed pics!! I have the easel too. I use it to display layouts for DH as I make them. When the easel is full the layouts get put in albums... Love 7Gypsies still have to resist, when I see their stuff Tuesday Morning often has it... That easel, oh that easel! Where did you get that?

What a fun trip down Memory Lane! I have/had so many of these products! I got rid of my Coluzzle set because I just couldn't get the hang of it. Also, does anybody remember the clear ruler set/system that you used with an Xacto knife to cut mats/photos with... so that you didn't have to use a trimmer? It seems like everybody but me got the hang of those. I tried but never, ever got them to work. I hope somebody at Goodwill squealed when they saw them! Ha! Did anybody use Mulberry paper in their layouts, around the mid-90's? I LOVED that stuff! I thought I was so artistic to wet the edges and fray it out... oh my gosh, my daughter's toddler album looks like a Mulberry plant exploded... I still have my ruler set. I love it and use it for all my mats. It's called Perfect Layers

Remember buying empty paint cans and decorating them with Chatterbox rooms and other patterned paper? Remember those awful Making Memories paints that you daubed on with sponges making a big mess? I have one of those paint cans that I decorated for our "Birthday Bucket" at work. I used some birthday cardstock and stickers. Anyone who wanted to participate put a goodie into that bucket and then it was put on the birthday person's desk! Loved that bucket!

It's great eh! I have another in my craft room and I'm contemplating a third if I can find a place for it, I like having my LO's on display! You can get it on your Amazon here. The price fluctuates on our Amazon so much. I paid £29 for my first one £19 for the second and today it's £15 so I might pull the plug on ordering that!

Still got a stash of mulberry paper, still use my glass mat, perfect layers set and my colorblocking templates. Heck, I still have a stash of Rebecca Sowers, chatterbox, MAMBI stickers, and page toppers. If I hold on to them long enough they will become vintage and be back in style again , right?

I wish I still had some - I would use it a lot more sparingly but I think it would still be nice now and then

Basic Grey had the best rub-ons (they called them Wholy Cow). I still have a few sets in my stash and they still go on like the day I bought them. I use them sparingly, but need to start using them up. I will be sad when they are gone, but at this rate that won't be any time soon.
Still use my Perfect Layers - funny thing, CM now sells Perfect Layers (or at least they did and the one I know still has some in stock). I prefer the majority of my pics with a mat, so I get a lot of use out of my PL when I scrap.
I know there were some horrid CM reps back in the day, but I can't complain about the CM rep I know. She hosts the 3 scrap retreats I go to every year (next one is this coming weekend). She never says anything about only CM or even if you don't use any CM products. She also alternates between a Stampin' Up and a CTMH consultant also setting up at her retreats. She also used to have a LSS owner set up, but they all closed.

I loved and still have the Making Memories rub ons! I also have some Twisels. I had a bunch of the letters, the ones that were long and like a book... I still use mine and it's going to be a sad day when I can't even piece them together to make a letter..... And what is that about LB and her pets? I can't even imagine.. I am going to look that up. How rude.

I know a friend of mine called her out on it - up to that point, her fangirls were not saying a word about the senior dog or cat. She's a piece of work.

I went looking for my Bo Bunny word albums when I started to read this thread. I knew I had the Family one. Turns out I bought the Believe and Baby one too! Those were hot commodities when I worked at the LSS. I have kept quite a bit of stuff through the 20 years I've been scrapping. I definitely have a little of each thing mentioned in this thread!!

ladytrisha OMG about Lisa. Wow! She went on my dungeon list. That makes me sick to my stomach, not joking. I can't imagine anyone dumping their beautiful furbabies. I could not survive with my fur children. They are my life. Mulberry paper lovers- Yes. Yes and Yes. I still have sheets of it. I still use it. Beautiful paper is always a classic. I found this beautiful French YT last year that makes art mulberry sculpted pieces- www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpXsOmQjEyU You are all welcome that I enabled you to start digging in your stash, lol. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg)

Do ya'll remember Thena? Not sure if she ever made it over to this board... (I'm friends with her on FB) just say "Where's Thena?" and ask for a little poem and bam she would get one right to you. She also had a book I have on my shelf that she signed. Such a sweet lady! Totally remember her! I have a book of hers, still, too on my shelf. She is such a sweet lady.
Did anybody use Mulberry paper in their layouts, around the mid-90's? I LOVED that stuff! I thought I was so artistic to wet the edges and fray it out... I used it when I first started scrapping, in 2004. So pretty, and added great texture.

LavenderLayoutLady Yes, Thena!!!!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Beautiful sweet Thena. She is an angel. I was going through a very hard time and she gave me the most beautiful poem. I cried and cried. It really helped with my healing and gave me strength. You know the thread about WRMK's new punch board? It is just a modified version of other old things we have in our stash. I am wondering if WRMK is reading this for ideas. If you guys are I have some requests. I want another Coluzzle, & a handheld cutter like the Slice. You guys make great tool sets. I love my tool set with the magnetic cutting pad, ruler, brad setter, craft knife and micro tip scissors. Would you copy Making Memories tools and release more cool tool sets. I lost my piercer from MM and I want another one please, thank you. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I loved 7 Gypsies too. I want them to come back. I want Making Memories to come back even more. They had the best tools. Do you all remember K&Company? I loved them and I admit I have some ephemera that I admire all the time also known as hoarding.

I definitely remember K&Co and went digging for them recently cause I knew I had lots of word stickers. I also found loads of their layered stickers and the felt ones too. I think I got them all at Michaels & JoAnns in 2008 & 9 when I was in Florida. I also loved Amy Butler and have lots of her papers in my stash too. It's not really my style anymore but I might challenge myself to do a LO with her papers!

Anyone remember the 12x12 mesh "paper"? All sorts of bright colours? It wasn't "magic mesh" - it was a 12x12 sheet of mesh and I loved using it for matting and layers. And now, in the Hip Kit club this month, I see Heidi Swapp has produced a paper (6x6) that is a mesh grid that some youtubers are using for layers, but it's obvious they've never seen the old 12x12 stuff!

Remember Culuzzles? You had to cut the templets out on a glass mat with a special swivel knife to get the circle, star or whatever shape. And we used them to cut our pictures into shapes! I have old albums with oval shaped pictures in layouts. What were we thinking? Oh I JUST recently (well within the last 2 years...haha) bought a replacement blade for my knife.... I dig those out once and awhile still. But I didn't use a glass mat.. there was a foamy type mat so that the knife would easily swivel.... I don't remember the glass mat part.... Coluzzles was the name.. maybe there was two different things? You’re right. It was a special mat. I was probably thinking of a regular craft knife which I tried using around the same time.

I was around during the eyelet craze. Remember eyelet setters and how you had to pound them with small hammers to get the eyelet set? At crops you had to warn your table since the setting process shook the whole table.
And let’s not forget sticker sneeze. Way to fill that white space.

Holy crap, Lisa Bearnson's house is selling for $1.5 million!
I saw the post about her pets, too, and I was completely shocked. It's not like they are moving overseas and can't take pets. They are moving to a golf course, if I recall correctly. Take your damn pets with you!

I also LOVED it when Lisa Bearnson and David Venable were on QVC----I thought they were SO funny together! Remember when Lisa slapped David on the live broadcast and someone made a digital layout of it?

Oh yes the memories on this thread! I did have and still have bits and pieces of just about everything listed in this thread, LOL! Mesh in 12 x 12, loved it! Mulberry paper carefully torn using a paint brush and water? Did that! Coluzzle? Have a whole collection, as well is page planner templates, Provo craft paper slabs and even Hot of the Press paper books. MAMBI stick figures just a few as I was kidless during this time, but did have Paperkin dolls. Still have 3 mostly full PSB's plus an 8 1/2 x 11 of letter stickers. Oh don't forget thickers and blank chip board! Just tossed my Making Memories paints as they were all dried up (I live in a desert!) So much fun to read here, but now must get back to looking for a good idea for a page layout! LOL!
