Cargo and The Man Who Knew Infinity are good movies. I'm watching The Staircase, a non-fiction series that follows the trial of a man accused of killing his wife. Brain on Fire looks good. Parks & Rec Queer Eye is one of my favorites.
Netflix seems to have a lot more material that I'm interested in these days. Have fun choosing!!!

Broadchurch Fauda-about The Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Excellent, but violent Midsomer Murders if you want a quaint whodunit Longmire The Crown Episodes-very funny

If you have Amazon Prime, I highly recommend Good Behavior starring Michelle Dockery. She is nothing like Lady Mary Crawley in this show.

I like comedies:
The Good Place Santa Clarita Diet (warning: zombie grossness sometimes) Arrested Development Parks and Rec The Office
My really NSFW, inappropriate choice: Archer- so funny but so wrong
If not a comedy, I also like all of the various British detective series.

Some of my Netflix favorites... Gilmore Girls (not the reboot, hated it!) The Office (quirky, hilarious sitcom) When Calls the Heart (sappy but sweet Hallmark series) Parenthood (family drama)
And an assortment of British shows/miniseries North and South The Crown Call the Midwife The Paradise Death Comes to Pemberley

I just watched brain on fire and it was very good. If it is based on the book of the same name . . . I need to watch it. This story was absolutely fascinating!

If you can deal with some pretty lowbrow humor and lots of references to male genitalia, American Vandal is a quick watch and funny. It's the most accurate depiction of high school life that I've seen in a long time.

We are currently in season 5 of working through Friends again.
The Crown is amazing if you love history.

I am currently watching Gilmore Girls and loving it, never watched it before(the original, not the reboot).
I have watched Orange is the New Black and really did like it, I tried to watch Wentworth but just couldn't get into it.
Godless is good, it's a western. Supernatural if you are ok with demons and spirits and curses and such Merlin (is one that my middle kid watched, I would catch a episode here and there after I got off work, before he wnt to work) My daughter recently introduced me to Queer Eye, if you like make over shows-the *hosts* are gay, so if that's an issue avoid it. The Ranch is good, is a sitcom with Sam Elliot in it and Ashton Kutcher

Friends is my go-too. I've recently started watching Cheers from the beginning too. I'm suprised at how much of it I don't remember (I was in college and a young-partying-single when it ran so I'm sure I missed a lot of it).
I just watched Brain on Fire last night. Pretty interesting.
