I need to order June photos, which I'll do this week.
Yesterday I snapped a pic of my three youngest in the kiddie pool, filling buncha-balloons.

The chauffeuring is the best part though! You can just hop on and off the car and the AC stays running so it's nice and cool when you get back in! That's if he stays in the car like my hubby does when he takes me. I personally think the best Tuesday morning in Tucson is the River location. Let me know what ya think! Edited to add: oh yeah, and Happy Birthday!!!! thank you for the birthday wishes it's actually the 4th, but he and i both have to work. he usually comes in with me, actually, or will go to surrounding shops. at one stop, he actually went to home depot and bought a hoe i had the best luck at the oro valley store, which makes sense because it was the first one we went to. i do like the river store. the one on sunrise had barely any stuff (like not even a full aisle anymore) and i only bought 3 things at the one on broadway. however, i cleaned broadway out at the beginning of june, and they were the last stop and i was tired. I forgot about the Oro Valley one!! Its so far out, but that one is really well stocked most of time. Probably cause it's so far out and not allot of scrappers that far out. I hope you got a chance to hit hobby lobby on Broadway as well. Since you where in the neighborhood and all....

Earlier this year I went through all of my pictures and sorted, purged, organized, etc All of my 4 x 6 photos are in the Iris cases and in the bigger boxes that hold the 16 cases...I have 4 of them full. Today I went through my phone and ordered 520 pictures. Because I need more??!!?? Holy moly! I’d better learn to scrapbook quicker! I’m pretty sure there are pictures on my computer that should be printed too but I’m not looking!

I actually hate taking photos and I really don't do much to take photos of, or have kids to scrap. So I just scrap myself and my cat over and over. I use the same photos many times cause why not?!! But I get so excited when I do have new ones to scrap so I'm jealous of your 520 new ones!

But I get so excited when I do have new ones to scrap so I'm jealous of your 520 new ones! How about I send you some...say a few thousand??? I have two kids (well, they’re adults now), many nieces and nephews, six siblings and my darling granddaughter! I was pretty selective with what I chose to print...I could have easily printed about 5000 just off of my phone (there are about 7600 on there). I’ve been taking pictures since I was 13 and, of course, digital photography just makes it so easy to have many many pictures of everything! Just yesterday morning my husband and I went too the beach to watch the sun rise. I took 29 pictures! Of those maybe 2 or 3are worth printing.

KelleeM, I used to scrap for other people lol! A couple of friends had babies and would give me pictures, one wasn't a scrapper and I gave her and album full and another one was a scrapper but she still appreciated all my LO's to mix in with her own (well I think she did, even if she threw them all away, she said all the right things to me lol!).

I'm going through withdrawal! I won't have time to scrapbook in the next 10 days or so. Our son, grandchildren, his GF, and her son will all be here for 10 days. Of course, I am super excited about that, but I had to clean up my scrap area and empty off the dining room table.
There will be a lot of photo ops, so that is good, LOL.
Oh, and I was excited they went camping, because I have camping papers I could not resist buying at TM.
I relax in my happy place almost every night, so I am going to miss that!

Here is some randomness in the form of a vent. I just completed an album. While I was working on it I sent photos to my husband for him to identify information. He did and I proceeded. Today I asked him to look at the completed album. He called me and said I had some of the information wrong. I said, "Go ahead and put sticky notes where I need to correct the information.
I came home and found 8 sticky notes. All of the pages were the photos I sent him and asked for information. Apparently every one of the pages is wrong and has to be fixed. I messaged him and told him I'm mad that I specifically sent him photos, asked him to identify information, he did, and it's all wrong? How is it that happened?
It's no wonder I can't work on his photos. Every time I get started the information is unclear. My husband's head is full of trivia and facts, and I just don't remember things the way he does. In the future I am going to make him write it down before I even attempt to scrap anything of his.
Ugh! And the pages were nice and best of all, DONE!

myboysnme - uggggh! My dd did that to me once. I asked her "what was that funny name you gave to this activity" and she named it. So I used it as the title on my page; included it in the journaling. Then, when I showed her the page she said, "Oh, actually, it's wasn't "x", it was "Y". grrrr. I had to rip the page apart and re-do a lot. I'm sure you are feeling worse because it's a whole album! Good luck with your corrections

My small randomness for the day:
I ordered June pics today. June was a busy month. I'm hoping my mojo wants to come back by the time they arrive.

Oh man myboysnme, so frustrating! Definitely get him to sit and write things down before you start his photos from now on but you have to get him at the right moment when he's not concentrating on something else don't you. Good luck and I hope the LO's can be changed easily!

I got 100 pics printed at Walgreen's, not as happy with them this time, but I also did have some pics with too low resolution so some are definitely my fault. There are quite a few that I'll just reprint at home.

I got 100 pics printed at Walgreen's, not as happy with them this time I just started using Walgreens and am just slightly unhappy compared to Walmart where I've been going for years. I just don't have time or money to walk through Walmart to pick them up and husband will actually stop at Walmart to get them for me.

I spent time yesterday reviewing the changes I need to make to the pages I mentioned in my vent. It is mostly letter stickers that I will need to peel off and try to find letters to replace them with correct info. It is all those ship layouts I posted last month. The ship names are wrong. There were 3 ships and he must have been looking at a reverse image on his phone or something because not one of them is correct.

If you can't get the stickers off, or when you take them off they rip, remember you can put a panel over the ripped bit. Or put a panel over the stickers and put new ones on. The best tip I ever got in a class was from Shimelle, she said just stick it down, if you don't like it, you can always stick something over it.

My randomness for the day...I finally pushed the buy button and ordered a photo printer. Amazon had a great deal on the one that I was checking out 50% off so I added it to cart with some photo paper and I'll see how this one goes. I decided not to order replacement inks right away just in case I don't like it but I'm excited to finally get scrapping again! I've been holding off on my WITL album because of this because I like to do the full 6x8 photo pages. But now WITL has been done so long ago I'm tempted to redo the week itself this summer so that the journalling would be fresh in my mind.

I need to order June photos, which I'll do this week. I need to print most of 2015-2018 The good thing about being behind is I got a bunch of journaling cards for like $2.00 at a Scrapbook Expo because it was a 2015 set from Simple Stories. I actually hate taking photos and I really don't do much to take photos of, or have kids to scrap. Well I do have kids except they have their issues and don't do much in the way of extra curricular activities. I'm more of an event scrapper, so yeah, I'm way behind on scrapping them. I'm not good at journaling "I hope you dance" "dream", those kinds of things.
I also don't take many photos now (because of KIDS!). I may or may not take photos off the internet if we go somewhere and add them to my pages. Usually it's my husband going places with my oldest son and he takes the worst photos of concerts. There was also record flooding in my area and I found awesome photos!
ETA: They are ONLY used for my albums.

myboysnme - I'm sorry that would be very frustrating Ordered photos today - the rest of January and part of February from Amazon and some recent pics from Snapfish. I'm WAY behind on ordering photos for 2018 so I'm going to try and print a month's worth every week until I catch up. (and then I'll need to catch up on the scrapping) Working on a trip album - in November 2016 I flew to New England for a long weekend to visit my sister in VT and surprise my mum in RI for her 80th birthday. I flew in on Fri and flew out Tues morning. I'm on Monday's pictures now so hopeful I can get it finished today or tomorrow. stinkerbelle's vacation challenges has me looking at the backlog of trip photos I have....Roadtrip 2017 and BuschGarden/MOSI 2016 and Legoland 2017 are printed but not scrapped. DS's Toyoko/Legoland trip is printed and partially scrapped. DD's Europe trip needs to be printed and so does DS Malayasia/Singapore trip. And I suspect there are others as well...from earlier.

I often have to make corrections in spelling or details I "thought" I had right about events in which I did not participate. I usually either handwrite the correct word or phrase on a scrap of cs, or use small letter stickers on the scrap, and then trim and stick right over the journaling that needed to be corrected. Sometimes I randomly do a few more words on the same page and stick them over the original to make it look less like a "whoops!" and more like a "I meant to do my journaling this way!" Our ds arrived last night, and we will be hosting about a dozen people for supper today, but I managed to squeeze in scrapbooking a page this morning. Felt good. Now I feel like me...

I've done that - used photos I found online, if my own photo did not turn out.

Yesterday I turned my newly organised scrap room upside down looking for my brand new set of Gansai Tambi Starry Night watercolours. After coming to the sad conclusion that they were gone (either by my own hands accidentally or by the hands of my "helpful" 3-year old daughter) I secretly ordered a new set online last night. This morning I found them hidden behind my typewriter.

This morning I found them hidden behind my typewriter. Yup yup and yup! I do know I've lost items into my garbage/recycling (easy for something to fall or be in a pile that's going in the trash) but more often they've shown up eventually. And then voila, I own two.
