After feedback on what would make things simpler for both people who are on teams, peas who want to freelance and jump in on a challenge or two or three, and those who share the board with us, stinkerbelle has decided to try this new format for July. Please post all challenges for team points in this thread. I will update this OP to add them in as they land. I will also be numbering them as we go. If it makes it easier for you, you can print off this thread at any time and have the most up to date list of challenges. Regular monthly challenges will appear as separate threads as always. I will provide links to those challenges and to this challenge thread in the Master List of Challenges for July. We will be trying to keep traffic on this thread as much as possible to challenges only, and stinkerbelle will be setting up a separate thread to share our creations (pages, cards, other artsy projects), and a third one for Team chat. When you share your creations, please let us know the specific challenge(s) you are meeting by name, challenge number, or both. Okay.... Here goes! July Challenge #1: Show your flag!!! July Challenge #1: Show your flag!!! It is Canada Day on July 1st and the 4th is coming up fast. Lots of people waving flags. Get out there. Take some photos of people with those flags. Use some pp with national flags on it or use your diecutting skills to create one for your page or card.
If you will not be part of a national celebration this month, or if you prefer to earn some points after you have created the celebration cards and pages, how about you put some flags or banners on your creations? No need for national colours or emblems: simply some flag or banner shapes.
Have fun!

July Challenge #2: Red White and One More We will be seeing a lot of USA colours of red white and blue in the next few days. And myboysnme has a challenge to use those 3 colours. Canada's flag is red and white, but we often see jackets and Olympic uniforms in red, white & black. Again, no need to play your patriotic card for this challenge. Simple use 3 major colours on your project: RED, WHITE, and one other colour (other than blue) of your choice.

July Challenge #3: The colour of water. In the northern hemisphere it is the season of water play: sprinklers and swimming pools, lakes and beaches. This challenge asks you to either use water colour paints or markers in some way on your project, or somehow include a watercolour effect. (Premade watercolour paper, oxide inks, colour bursts). And here are a couple of challenges myboysnme posted. I tried to move them over as posts, but I messed that up, so I decided to just copy and paste them into this thread to keep everything in order: July Challenge #4: Take me out to the ball game! ( myboysnme ): My son just went to a Boston Red Sox game and took some pictures for me. So this challenge is a tribute to summer ball games - the World Cup, Major League Baseball, or even a game of beach volley ball. For this challenge make a layout that includes a ball or ball game - beach ball, basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, tennis, ping pong, golf, croquet, tossing a ball to your dog, whatever you have that includes a ball. It's time to scrap those sports pages with this one! July Challenge #5: Hurray for the Red White & Blue! ( myboysnme ): In the USA the 4th of July is a big celebration of the red, white and blue. Other countries around the pea world have celebrations that may include red, white or blue as well. This challenge is to use red, white and blue in a project.

July Challenge #7: Bung An Arrow On It! I wanted to add this as a challenge because I love arrows! I think they're the easiest embellishment to add to a LO or card because they fit on everything. I have a sneaky hope that if I challenge this, people will start using arrows more, the manufacturers will see them appearing everywhere and add more arrows to their collections! So add an arrow, or two, or three! Chevrons will work too, arrow paper any kind of arrow for a point. grammadee , I will edit my post and add whatever number my challenges are when you assign them a number

One more from me - I'll save any more for next month.
July Challenge #18: It's a Generational Thing
Do a layout about generations in your life. Your grandparents, your grandchildren, etc. 1 extra point for multiple generations. So if you put your parents and their parents on a layout. 1 extra point. Your parents, you, your child and your grandchild - 4 extra points. Your mother and her mother? 2 extra points. And so on. Doesn't have to be direct line generations. Do you have a great niece, nephew, aunt that you want to scrap about? Go for it!

JULY Challenge #20: Manufacturers challenge
Easy peasy challenge, just make something using products from one manufacturer. For the month of July, we’re going to mix it up a bit. Instead of me choosing a manufacturer, I want you to choose your own and use mostly their products on your project. You can repeat this challenge as often as you like with the same manufacturer or choose a different one each time.
Feel free to mix in other supplies, but the majority of your project must be products from your chosen manufacturer.

JULY Challenge #21: Word Up! challenge
I want to try this challenge for at least one more month. I am really enjoying it!
Use premade title pieces (word/phrase thickers, page toppers, chipboard or wood veneer words, PL cards, stickers, whatever) on your page in place of/addition to alpha stickers for your page title.

July Challenge #28: Fasten-ate me! Glue is boring. There are so many other ways to fasten things together. Here is your chance to pull out those brads and photo turns and eyelets, ribbons &/or twine, staples, paper clips...: all those pretty things that tie things together on your project. Here's the twist: you must use at least THREE of these fastening items on your project. (could be 3 of the same type of device, or three different ones)
