'Might be the time to share this:
'The West Wing' episode "the Debate:
"I'll tell you what they did. Liberals got women the right to vote. Liberals got African-Americans the right to vote. Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty. Liberals ended segregation. Liberals passed the Voting Rights Act. Liberals created Medicare. Liberals created the The Clean Water Act. The Clean Air Act.
What did Conservatives do? They opposed them on everyone of those things, every one. So when you try to hurl that label at my feet, 'Liberal', as if it were something to be ashamed of, or something dirty, something to run away from, it won't work Senator.
Because I will pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge of honor."
I have to read this often to remember.....

“Richard Spencer stopped by authorities while traveling in Europe: report”
“White nationalist leader Richard Spencer was reportedly stopped by authorities in Europe this week while attempting to travel to address young white nationalists.
Spencer seemingly confirmed the incident Thursday on Twitter, sharing a Swedish-language tweet from another "alt-right" supporter saying that Spencer had been banned in Europe because of his views.
It appeared that Spencer addressed attendees remotely.”
Too bad they let him back into this country.

The difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is simple.
The Democrats look forward and the Republicans look backwards.
Unfortunately for the Rrpublicans, we are part of a world that , for the most part, is moving forward and not backwards.

this should be a concern:
Brian Benczkowski, represented Russia's Alfa Bank, and was a top staffer to then Senator Sessions. Republicans plan to vote next week to confirm him as head the DOJ Criminal Division. Heading the DOJ includes supervising over 600 federal prosecutors and will oversee sensitive matters including the criminal investigation of Michael Cohen. Benczkowski has no prosecutorial experience, and will not commit to recusing himself from Russia-related matters if confirmed. Alfa Bank is under criminal investigation.
Trump wants him confirmed, despite no experience and connections to Russian Bank. Why?
The Democrat Senate Judiciary members sent letter to trump in May requesting his nomination be withdrawn. There was no response.

“The KGB was the Soviet secret police. It killed more people than the Gestapo and the SS. It's one of the worst institutions in all human history.
But it's "fine," apparently.”

“NEW: Attorney for FBI Agent Peter Strzok says he will appear before House committees next week, calls for transcript of his previous closed-door testimony be released”
This is the FBI Agent along the FBI lawyer girlfriend were the ones that were going to “stop” trump. It seems to me if any of it was true he wouldn't be asking that the testimony he already gave be released as well as agreeing to testify in a public hearing.

“BREAKING: We @crewcrew just filed a complaint which federal authorities to investigate and halt the alleged destruction by the trump administration of documents relating to their child separation policy.”
CREW is Citizens for Ethics. You know Ethics a word the trump administration ignores.
Best way to make a “lie” the truth is to destroy anything that tells what really happened.

Just read in the NYTIMES that: 'Records linking children to their parents have disappeared, and in some cases have been destroyed, according to two officials of the Department of Homeland Security'.
The Judge should hold Nielsen and Azar in contempt and jail them until every last child has been returned. Or maybe just put them in cages without due process.

Rep Don Beyer..,
“Ryan Zinke, "Scott Pruitt's Scandal Clone," is still Trump's Secretary of the Interior, despite ongoing ethics woes including unexplained, shady real estate dealings with Halliburton. 3/
Kirstjen Nielsen is still Trump's Secretary of Homeland Security, despite her outright lying to the American public about the Administration's family separation policy. 2/
Wilbur Ross is still Trump's Secretary of Commerce, despite alleged insider dealing, investments which tie him to China and Russian oligarchs, and numerous conflicts of interest with entities he is supposed to be investigating: 4/
Betsy DeVos is still Trump's Secretary of Education, despite turning her agency over to industry insiders (just like Pruitt did) who prize corporate profits over our children's education. 5/
Ben Carson is still Trump's Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, despite attempts to waste taxpayer money on frivolities while raising rent on low income Americans. 6/
Mick Mulvaney is still Trump's Budget Director - and reportedly in contention to replace John Kelly as Chief of Staff - despite publicly bragging about corruption and selling access to lobbyists. 7/
Steven Mnuchin is still Trump's Treasury Secretary despite reportedly spending over $1 million in taxpayer money on non-commercial flights, and despite being generally ridiculous. 8/ “
It doesn’t end with the corruption in the trump administration.
All trump did was make the swamp much bigger to accommodate the newbies.

I heard this morning that they're going to have to conduct DNA testing on all the children? or they're planning to? (because apparently they didn't BOTHER to keep records, is more likely). But these kids can't CONSENT to being tested, and who knows WHAT that information might be used for in the future, besides trying to figure out who their parents are. How is this legal? (don't answer that, it's pretty much rhetorical at this point.) Their short (BS) answer is 'do you want us to do it quickly, or do you want us to do it right?' because I guess we only get one option, NOT both.

Behind trump's back? I don’t think so, to me , it was a forgone conclusion that the other countries would work out a new deal with Iran. Just like TPP leaving out the United States. I think I read where trump was thinking he might want to be a part of TPP.

Probably paid for by Russia to cause dissent and division. Russian bots organized protests during the Philandro Castro episode. So I am sure they are paying off people left and right just to divide. The GOP likes to blame Soros, but the truth is that Russian probably pays more protestors on both sides.

It seems trump was on a roll last night in Montana. Newsweek... “DONALD TRUMP MOCKED BOTH JOHN MCCAIN, WHO IS DYING, AND GEORGE H.W. BUSH, WHO JUST LOST HIS WIFE, AT MONTANA RALLY” “President Donald Trump again faces heavy criticism for his comments at a campaign rally Thursday night about cancer-stricken U.S. Senator John McCain and former President George H.W. Bush, who recently lost his wife of 73 years, Barbara. Before thousands at the Montana rally, Trump did not mention either leader by name but chided McCain for his vote against the president’s repeal-and-replace measure for Obamacare last year. Trump also bashed a common campaign slogan of Bush’s, a “thousand points of light,” which was a call for volunteerism and symbolized diversity around the country. The current commander-in-chief said he never understood the phrase. "Thousand points of light," Trump said. "What does that mean? I know one thing: Make America Great Again we understand. Putting America first we understand. Thousand points of light, I never quite got that one. What the hell is that? Has anyone ever figured that one out? It was put out by a Republican wasn't it.” Just shows how low Conservatives have sunk by standing by and letting trump attack two of their own. And while I may not agree with their positions, both men are honorable. Remember he only does it because no one in his party stops him, Saiam, you gonna defend this? Cause if you do, it says a lot about you.

If it bothers you, call your representatives and tell them to grow a spine and stop this corruption. If enough people called, they might change their mind especially if you threaten to vote a straight democratic ticket if they do nothing.

Chris Hayes....
“Part of what's crazy about Jordan calling all the accusers liars (and agents of the deep state) is that he could just say. "Look, I heard things around the team that I didn't take seriously enough at the time, and I deeply regret it."
Prompted this response from Nate Silver....
“Republicans are habituated to thinking that 35-40% of the electorate (and 80-90% of their base) will believe whatever they say so long as they claim the allegations against them are a liberal conspiracy.”
Which will explain this from NPR...
“In his resignation letter, Scott Pruitt wrote, "The unrelenting attacks on me personally, my family, are unprecedented and have taken a sizable toll on all of us."
Translation: Those big nasty liberals are picking on us FOR NO REASON!. Too bad their actions say otherwise.
