Gawd, he is such a fucking idiot. Sad that his big mouth works so much better than his brain. Someone probably has to spell NATO for him.

The photo really says it all. His base is saying the photo is flipped, or shopped...but his lapel pin is on the right side, so not flipped. It's just his stupidity.

My son’s workplace hosted a family night last night. They had a magician who asked for audience participation. He called on a young boy and was asking him questions. When he asked who the president was the boy wouldn’t answer. After several tries the young boy said “ I’m sorry. I’m not allowed to say that. It’s a bad word.” While I’m not sure I would go that far as a parent I admit it made me laugh nome the less.

What difference would it make if it were flipped? He's looking in the opposite direction; I just think it's so emblematic of his entire policy platform. SMH

His supporters simply do not care. I fact checked one of his lies to a supporter and she said "well, that's your opinion". I told her "no, it's fact, and here is the proof". She looked at the proof, sniveled up her mouth and nose, and said "whatever, I know what I believe". I believe that many of his base are now so embarrassed that they won't ever say they made a mistake. I have a friend whose DH is a huge Trumpsters and he said that he knows he lies and he knows he's probably in Russia's pocket, BUT “if I admit this, then I look like a f'ing asshole for voting him in.” So he just agrees... Stupid I know, but maybe many feel the same way. And then they blame our criticism of Trump for making them stick with him. Who knew so many Republicans were motivated by spite?

Just remind him that no one knows who he votes for in the booth... So no one will 'know' he voted him out!

You know, the biggest thing that would destroy Trump would be not seeing his name on the news or in the papers.
I know it would never happen, but if the press never printed a word about him for, let's say, 2 weeks, it would destroy him.
He thrives on seeing himself in the spotlight. This would kill him.

ABC News...
“Speaker Paul Ryan says he won't criticize Pres. Trump while he's overseas at NATO summit, but says "NATO is indispensable."
But the problem is, Ryan doesn’t criticize trump even when he is in this country. He doesn’t criticize him PERIOD! #wewon

This from Kyle Griffin..
“8th former wrestler comes forward, alleging that Jim Jordan was aware of sexual abuse by the OSU wrestling team's doctor because he personally told Jordan about the abuse.
"He's sitting here and directly lying," the wrestler said.”
Prompted this response from Nate Silver..
“Not sure you can really call it a *surprise* in the era of Trump. But still, sort of remarkable how willing other House Republicans are to circle the wagons around Jordan when it's very, very likely that he's lying and it's a developing story where more revelations could surface.”
They have to protect their “attack dog”. Again, another example of party over country.

He's lying again tweeting The European Union makes it impossible for our farmers and workers and companies to do business in Europe (U.S. has a $151 Billion trade deficit), and then they want us to happily defend them through NATO, and nicely pay for it. Just doesn’t work! The US exported $11.5 billion in agricultural products to the European Union last year. In fact, the 28 countries of the European Union are the United States’ fifth-largest export market for agricultural goods, like tree nuts and soybeans. LINK
What on earth does he gain by constantly lying about facts that are so easy to check and verify. It’s an established Russian tactic. Putin does it as well. There’s a name for it: vranyo. It’s more than just lying. It’s “I’m lying and you know I’m lying.” The lies are an extension of their power, and a form of contempt for their people and the institutions around them. By lying blatantly, it’s a statement that reality will be what they say it is, and as an authoritarian, you are forced to abide by it. It’s a fascinating, awful thing. Russians have never known anything different, but it’s alarming how amenable the GOP is to his lies. At least until you realize they’re just like him. I would also include Nigel Farage in that group. He’s another Putin protege. this is REALLY interesting, pierogi... I would have just guessed that he lies about things like that because he truly believes what he's saying, but the 'blatant lying as a form of power' is really interesting. His base doesn't seem to ever want / need to check the veracity of the things he says, either. Or they just don't care ? ? ?

I couldn't tell you what goes on in a Trumper's mind as he spews his daily word-barf. I'm sure there are some who stupidly believe every word out of his mouth. But I'm sure there are plenty who know he lies and love that he lies.

I don't know how to embed a tweet, but another of Daniel Dale's tweets is pretty darn funny- he has the ABC clip showing Trump's remarks about Germany being controlled by Russia, and he writes "it's the return of John Kelly's "whyyy are you doing this to my day" face. " <---and if you watch the video, John Kelly is listening, looks away, basically almost rolls his eyes, and it looks to me like he's thinking "here we go again..." lol!!

NO, our youth are becoming active. Think Stoneman Douglas High School/March For Our Lives.......... They are traveling allover the US this summer making stops to speak as well as helping to register voters etc.
