Bumping this thread because I just got a Teflon bone folder in the mail today along with my LF pre-order.
My review - Holy Mackerel, this thing works great! I honestly thought it was a gimmick, but at the last minute added it to my cart. I did a few test folds and it works good on thick or thin paper. It slides smoothly over the paper and doesn't leave marks. I use the Martha Stewart Mini Score Board and a very old bone folder not the one that came with the board. My old bone folder is "too sharp" and occasionally cuts my paper especially thinner papers, although it didn't leave marks or shiny-ness when creasing but the paper cutting issue really bothered me. And if I used a lighter hand the score line wasn't deep enough and the card wouldn't stay tented when on display. (does that make sense?). I think I'm going to be very happy with this purchase.
BTW - I got the LF version purchased from Scrapbook Pal.

Yay GiantsFan! Glad to hear you’re loving your new Teflon bone folder! I haven’t posted an update as to how I feel about mine because I really haven’t had a chance to use it much since I bought it. I’m working on my Christmas cards and hopefully will discover that I love mine as much as you love yours. I will say that for the very few times that I have used it, I do prefer it because it just seems to glide smoothly across the paper with no effort and so far has left no marks at all.

The Lawn Fawn shipping is pricey when ordering from Amazon. Are there any other decent Teflon bone folders from Amazon that are Prime or at least have less costly shipping?
I see others listed, but at least one had complaints about the shape, that it had edges which hurt the hand to hold it.
Edited to add: Never mind. I saw an earlier post in this thread that recommended one. I've just ordered it.

I've been close to ordering it but the price just gets me and stops me in my tracks. Come back and tell us if it's worth it. Don’t waste your money. I bought one and I’m not impressed. I used it on my last card it did leave marks. It’s just how you use the tool either one will get the job done basically the same. I should have returned it when I could have.

I’ve heard good things about them but think I’d rather spend $25 on stamps!

I have had mine for a few years and really like it. It just seems to make the crease crisp without tearing the paper...

I have only used mine a couple of times, but I like it. It has kind of a flat, sharp edge at the opposite end of the sort of pointed part. I tried using the flat sharp edge for flattening the fold of my card and quickly realized that was a mistake. That flat end also has a flat but rounded portion, and that works great for the fold.
I think I am going to like it.

I have a genuine bone folder, a plastic bone folder, and a teflon bone folder. The teflon is the best by far. No contest. I have the little triangular shaped one but if I lose it, I'll get whatever shape I can find. I love it.
