Huh. She actually did bring physical products back!Albums: 12x12, 10x10, 8x8, 6x8. They come empty, protectors sold separately. Protectors: same sizes as the albums, plus 8.5x11, 8x10, 5x7. Envelope pages: 12x12, 8.5x11, 6x12. Scrapbook dividers - not on the site yet, but coming soon. Yeah, just like we told her to YEARS AGO. But she had to go "find herself" first before she could see that SELLING WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO BUY is a better idea than selling long navel-gazing courses that people don't need from self-professed "gurus".

I think she realized that in order to document your good life, you need something to put those documents IN. Took her how long to remember that little tidbit? Not everyone wants to buy a photobook - especially the people who started following you because they were physical scrapbookers!

But again, if you live outside the US, like 95% of the world do, you can't buy anything. On IG today, BH "wishes" she could provide us poor colonials with her product, but "international shipping is not our strength (teary face)".
What the?

She "intentionally" stopped production because WE weren't buying the products/there wasn't any demand. 🙄 Apparently we now have our act together and she is "intentionally" selling them again.

I hardly know anyone in real life that still scrapbooks and the couple I do don't use PL type products. Personally I have so many PL type cards that will last the rest of my life. I buy very little product these days since I just have more than I will ever be able to use up. Multiply others like me and it's easy to see why so many companies have gone out of business.

It's really not difficult, but alienating potential customers is even easier!

Oh I totally agree with you. It also doesn't help that everyone and their mom were selling PL type cards and pocket protectors. The market was flooded with so many supplies and general scrapbooking stuff too, as people were leaving. BH herself didn't help with a million albums, page protectors and card packs. While the variety was awesome it is hard to sustain. Instead of taking even partial responsibility for over producing and over stretching their product line she lays it completely on the consumer. It's our fault because we didn't buy enough.

It's really not difficult, but alienating potential customers is even easier! There are many reasons to not offer international shipping these days, but “not our strength” isn’t one of them. If she’d described that shipping rates are extremely high for large or bulky items, or that during the pandemic shipping times have stretched to weeks or months, that might have been justified. I know some companies have halted international shipping because it’s just not good for anyone - customers often can’t track their shipments and fear they’re lost, it looks like bad customer service when it’s not actually within the shop owner’s control, and the prices are just so high. But talk about that. Be upfront. Give people options. Sigh.

Oh I work for an online business, I know all about what's been going on this year with international shipments! She just doesn't care about transparency... or sales.

Nothing to do with the pandemic and its affects on everything.

Nothing to do with the pandemic and its affects on everything. She did at some point. I simulated checking out and it was outrageously expensive to ship to Europe. Crazy expensive. Can't remember which year it was but I remember laughing myself silly when I got the shipping quote. If you're not an American middle class white Christian mother with an iPhone in your pocket, Becky doesn't care about your or your business. Let's make that clear. She has some serious projection issues and tunnel vision. That's not going to change until you change. Convert to Mormonism! Get an iPhone! Move to the US!

It's so deeply ingrained that EVERY MEMBER is a missionary, it probably comes automatically for her. I could never get on board with being that vocal. Too much of an introvert and then the anxiety of not being able to explain or have the right answer. I was like I'll just be a decent human being and if someone asks, I'll give them some information; an email address, find the number of the local missionaries, or the bishop. Even then, I'd probably let them know that the missionaries will continually contact them and be firm if you aren't interested.
Sadly, I'm not even middle class, I'm low class. No wonder I couldn't cut it being Mormon.

I haven’t been an active church goer since my first marriage. It was pounded in my heart how unworthy I was and for a mom struggling with depression (and not medicated like o am now), it was very damaging to me. I’ve converted to my husband religion (Lutheran) but I haven’t attended service since our wedding.

She really is not taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously and it's all over her instagram. She's made a quick, last minute trip to Idaho for a family weekend. Decides to have an informal meet-up at the local LDS bookstore to see her stickers. One gal is wearing her mask indoors, but not social distancing. The second gal is an online friend of Becky's that she's never met in person before. They're outside, hugging each other literally cheek-to-cheek, neither one wearing a mask.

How exhausting it must be to try to sell everything to everyone including your religion. That was one thing I didn't worry about. I was fortunate to know people in my life who were great people without my religion. I figured they are fine, I don't need to sell. Plus, they could always convert when they died (that's a whole other weird thing).
You're high class to me, dear. That made me giggle. I read that as I'm staring at my ugly laminate furniture.

We need official warnings when people post giant photos of people's faces! Holy cow, I almost lost my coffee. not the best screenshot to sell fiber brows either! 😲 That was my first thought. Glad I’m not alone.

Why all the travelling and meeting people during COVID- makes no sense I know she’s in AZ but Utah has been a hotbed of cases. I see so many Mormon mommies on IG completely disregarding that there’s a pandemic. Totally oblivious.

So, Becky Higgins now has 4 IG accounts.
She made a big show about how...
@beckyhigginsllc is now FOR BUSINESS, you guys!!! And I have a personal Becky Higgins account, and I have my house account and I have my Modern Story Account.
See?
But I'm still going to post Mormon proselytizing videos on my BUSINESS account.
OK, guys!?!
Sooooo Cool, right?!?
---
I guess not enough people are on her personal account for her to sell Mormonism to.

My DD has issues, but she is a very tiny shop on some platform. A larger company should have no issue

I still stand by my opinion that it has nothing to do with personal vs business-it has to do with finding a new narcissistic supply via new accounts.
