Go spend some 💰 to stay at Becky’s pricey resort and mention that you heard about it from her and get a $100 gift card to use while you’re there. 😬 You won't get $, you'll get some weird tape, a journal, and water bottle. Lol

I wonder if she is truly going to connect her trip to the resort to the blow up that happened on Instagram. Also everything about her comeback was about selling something, the resort, the notebooks and her prints. I don’t know why but I am truly surprised she is choosing this direction.

I’m not very familiar with the LDS views on mental health, but is a “wellness retreat” code for “I needed intense intervention and professional support” but I can’t really say that. More power to her to get the support she obviously needed, but the timing seemed to coincide with also losing it repeatedly.

I read BH’s latest IG post and I’m confused about why she would bring PL promotional materials with her to a wellness retreat? Does she really think people are there to be sold on her business? If some random person starting selling his/her products to me, complete with free gift!, at a wellness retreat I would be turned off by that business.
Even now Becky lives in her own unrealistic bubble. Yes, she spent two weeks away from social media (a consequence of her own actions) but she is going to attempt to profit from it by turning this time of self-reflection (and what should be self-correction) into a new focus of her social media posts. She should have taken a two week break, come back, and focused on PL. No need to mention where she was or what she was doing.
It’s been a long day and I’m crabby, but I want to say to her “shut up and sell your damn Project Life kits!”. Ugh.

lisacharlotte I thought you were making a joke but I looked and she really is promoting gift cards. That woman just never stops. Oh, that $100 card can only be used toward a massage.

If she does, it won't be about how she was wrong, it will still be about how she was the victim.

She popped back up on IG 5/20.

Hmmmmmmm...the thing I find difficult is that she took “little gifts” to give to people she met there....and then told us about that. Why?......so we could think she is generous,or that we want a gift too or... ?

I agree about the privilege part! She recommends it like a number of us could actually go there LOL! I'm wondering if she was strongly encouraged to go to the "resort". You said 'it' and the first thing that came to my mind was NOT the resort, the privilege that you mentioned in the prior sentence was where my mind went. In this instance, even though I know you meant the resort, but honestly, I think that she probably either thinks that we either ARE privileged like she is or that it's just something we can open the door and attain just by willing it into existence. Well, you could choose to be happy. Choose happiness. Or whatever that saying/sticker/stamp/card/whatever says.

And that is what I so dislike about "influencers". They can do some really stupid shit and get away with it (white/wealthy privilege) and then come back to their blind worshipers oh I mean followers who kiss the ground they walk on. Disgusting!!! I would have chose a different word than cow but I get what you are saying. McMansion. Trips on the fly. 2 weeks are a super expensive exercise resort... Must be nice to be able to talk down to your subjects and not have to worry about putting food on the table or who will take care of your kids I agree about the privilege part! She recommends it like a number of us could actually go there LOL! I'm wondering if she was strongly encouraged to go to the "resort". I’m positive people will now go there because it’s the thing to do. Nothing wrong with a bit of heath consciousness. Are there scrapbooker whoncan afford this kind of thing? Of course. Are there scrapbooker who can’t? Of course. Does she know or care who her demographics are? Not at all.

The overshare again. She could have said “I needed to regroup, I went away to a quiet place for a week to refocus”. No one would blame her for that. No one would judge her for that. We would generally all agree that would be a smart thing. That’s mostly attainable for everyone. A week or a weekend, a place of natural beauty that heals your weary soul. She could have even shared most of the same pictures. But no. She has to take the opportunity to cross-market her brand and the rehab/resort brand. She has to play that card. It’s classic oversharing for profit. She can’t help it. Did she get a discount on her stay in exchange for her endorsement? Now watch as all the fan girls flock to this place. This is what “influencers” do. Everything is about the “influence”. She has sold her mental health for a week’s stay at a luxury resort. Sad. Thank you for posting everything I was feeling.
Follow different people? I make it a practice to not follow anyone with more than a thousand followers. When blogs were a bigger thing, I stopped following anyone who promoted products more than shared. I also don't follow anyone I know IRL. I usually follow tags or people that post their creations and keep personal shares to a minimum.

Thank you board police but I stand by my words. Privileged holier than thou cow. I really don’t care if you agree or not with what I post. Fair enough, but I think calling another woman a cow is insulting and fat-shaming. Maybe that's a regional interpretation of the word? I think its perhaps regional. I’m Australian and cow is much less insulting than bitch and it has nothing to do with fat.. cow is more an unpleasant sort of a person.. which never made sense to me as cows are nice haha. However over here it’s also used in a non derogatory way in some social groups..

Ok girls stop making fun of cows. I am policing you, lol. No 2Peas abuse of cows. They didn't deserve this, ROFL! #StopShamingCows People who flaunt their money- I have no issue with those who have lots of money. A lot of people work hard and sacrifice a lot to get to that point. I do have an issue of those who flaunt money and then condescend. I have one big rule about that- You flaunt your money you don't get a dime from me. I support hard workers who are grateful for what they have.

Did anyone else find it ironic that there was a picture on her Instagram of what is allegedly her child’s school notebook and it looked kind of ratty and abused. The cobbler’s children have no shoes comes to mind. Your mother makes notebooks and yours comes from walmart.

I didn't get the impression that her notebooks were 8.5x11 Which is what I would expect teachers would require for school.

Her strories only had two (two!) dashes and was someone else's PL album. She got the memo, but her execution is lacking.

That notebook was a 3 ring binder with paper coming out. And my daughter's has looked like that many a times. As did mine in school. She has Aspergers and change can be hard, so she sticks with the same one all year. But many kids do. Has nothing to do with $ or what I can make (or BH) Also the notebook she had in Arizona was made by someone else

Just looked it up and it’s specifically a weight loss clinic - to the tune of $2K per week . . . But hey! At least her IG stories are back to focusing on scrapbooking. 👍 Does anyone really believe she went there to lose weight? It's not like she was morbidly obese, I think it was a plausible route that her stupid fan girls would believe rather then hey I really fucked up, my business has gone in the toilet because I ran it into the ground and I realized I'm not as loved as I thought I was in my mind and I need to escape the shit show I've caused. I just finished Liane Moriarty’s novel, Nine Perfect Strangers, which is set in a posh Australian health and wellness resort. So I’m totally giggling and wondering if BH’s resort had the same kind of smoothies. lol

I have always believed that followers do not equal success. When I first joined IG last year, I followed close to 1000 accounts. It would pop up as a suggestion or a friend followed, I liked the post enough that I followed. But I hardly ever engaged. I prefer to scroll and see cool photos. Mindless fun. Earlier this year I deleted a ton. And I comment on IRL friend posts. And not "so cute" or "love it"...typical posts. I post full on sentences lol If you look at BH LLC, she may have 6 to 12 replies to her posts about say the "happy place" retreat she went on. But then posts about her shit storms have over 100. How mixed up is that? So obviously (well to us not her), she is not catering to her subs. Food for thought for her... Like I said, numbers dont mean crap. Engagement does

Looking at BHs IG account...
Her average of engagement is 0.00952381%. She averages 8 responses out if 84k followers.
That is for posts with her crew. So obviously her followers could care less about her girl crew and her cultivating a good life crap.
On posts about other things she averages about 106. So that is 0.1261904762%.
She can not even get 1% of her followers to engage.
Wow. And she is calling herself a guru.
Far from it

I have placed 3 orders from the photo printing service through the PL App in the past month (catching up on some projects) and I noticed they don't have the usual "Way to go for printing your photos...blah blah blah" card with Becky's photo on it included in my order anymore. This may mean nothing but I am wondering if she is no longer affiliated/getting a cut from this photo printing service. It's still connected to her app though. I really like them so I hope nothing changes.

Between BH and BP's latest posts, my oh my.
Do people (women) really need to be told to be grateful (btw - super helps when you're privileged w/health, wealth, people who care about you and intelligence)? Do people (women) really need reminders that they can't do everything for everyone?
The inane drivel never stops w/these two AND SO MANY MORE on IG. The whole jumping in front of a mural paired up w/inane observations on life is just about over, right?!?? RIGHT!??!??!
Please tell me Gen Z will not be this idiotic to mindlessly follow and gush over the most rudimentary 8th grade level "insights".

A niece is trying to be an influencer. 😶 Not sure it's getting worse, but definitely different. The days of macro-influencers seems to be coming to an end - at least in terms of how profitable they are (as your story pointed out). The Gen Z kids are into nano-influencers - people in much smaller circles w/specific niches instead of 30-45 yo people trying to be your "guru". Similar to how the young (12-20s) have moved from FB to IG or Snapchat as their primary social media platform, they are moving from macro (multi-hundred-thousand follower) accounts to nano-influencers building on trust and relevance. "Social media is teeming with people who are ready to say good things about your product or service — and genuinely mean those good things. True, you’ll need to find a whole lot of them if you’re looking to have your messaging reach Gen Z on a large scale, since they don’t have the multi-million mass audiences of, say, Logan Paul or Zoe Snug. But nano-influencers can still drive brand awareness and sales in ways that macro-influencers can’t. To prove it let’s run some numbers. Nano-influencers command roughly four times the engagement rate from their followers than social media royalty. Why? Because they’re real people who are responsive to their friends. Indeed, a recent study finds they get 22x the number of buying conversations you’d get from your average consumer — and up to 11x the ROI you’d pay for a digital advertising campaign." www.genzinsights.com/why-does-gen-z-love-nano-influencers-because-theyre-not-famous

Becky apparently thinks people will buy whatever products she promotes simply because she’s Becky. I have yet to see her expend much energy to create a desire in her fans to buy. The Cosmo article referenced comments about how that influencer didn’t really hustle then was upset about the lack of sales. That would be Becky. .Granted Becky probably didn’t want to wear that frumpy dress she was hawking a while back but how about more than a couple of pictures of you and your employees wearing the jewelry or t-shirts you want people to buy? Maybe a video showing people how easy it is to use the stone wrapping paper (without the dance moves). If you want to proselytize try telling people how your god helped you through some hard times instead of denying you ever had any. But of course it will never happen. I guess she can cultivate a good life but not product sales.

I also think, because the majority of her followers are over the age of 30, people aren't buying into the whole fake it and make it perfect lifestyle. Typically when you reach a certain age you say F it because you realize you don't need to impress people. You just need to be happy with yourself. Who cares what others think. Many IG influencers are so fake. So perfect. So on point. But that isn't real life. BH has no idea about real life. She is well to do, can build a freaking huge house, and go on whim vacations or retreats. Thats not how it works for the majority of her followers. She isn't relatable. Well except to a few perfect people she knows. And when you aren't relatable, you can't sell product.
