If only American Crafts could push through for better paper quality and far smaller kits with less repeats, I'd probably throw $20 at a 150 card kit. Seriously. There's still money to be made with the PL system. My sense of nostalgia would kick in, I just know it.

Peas- Have you noticed the small trend of the black pages coming back in vogue for scrapbooking. I have seen some younger girls embracing our scrapbooks of really old lore, lol. I am loving it. I guess Becky can take credit for that too. No, the person to credit for that is our own joblackford. She has some really cool black pages buried deep on her Insta, like from a year ago? Trendsetter

There's still money to be made with the PL system. My sense of nostalgia would kick in, I just know it. This is exactly my thoughts. I have only bought one core kit because it was over $60 in Australia and there was so many repeats and patterns that I would not use and for the price the paper just seemed flimsy. I also struggled a lot with the patters and colours in the collections, they just are not my cup of tea and I could not justify the money of a so so line. If they bought out something by Shimelle or in the new Damask love line I would so be buying.

I'm not particularly interested in Project Life by BH products anymore because there's usually too much repetition within a kit but as far as I'm aware, the following kits are all square-cornered (there are possibly more): Project 52 Rad (2018) (this is the kit whose presentation video had been discussed in depth on here because Becky admitted she didn't know crap about the product her brand puts out in it) Project 52 Daring (2019) Click (classic core kit) Sharp (classic core kit) Snapshots (classic core kit) All the 4x6 card pads I had seen the click kit randomly clicking around on scrapbook.com but she NEVER announced its release or shared anything to do with the kit. Now that they are squared corners I could be tempted to buy another one if I saw inspiration enough to sell the kit, I can tell I like that click one but I can't see all the cards (they never updated their card reference sheets to include the newer kits) and I haven't seen anyone using it so I'm not sold... which is probably a good thing, I don't need any more cards. I am also in the boat where I'd rather not buy a huge core kit--I have 5 of them in my stash right now and although I still use some of the cards there are just too many repeats. The biggest downside to me though are that all of the ones I have are rounded corners and I just can't get past it... I used to mix & match rounded/squared but I hate how that looks and can't bring myself to use the rounded corner ones so I end up just using them cut up. But, if BH was sharing inspiration using the newer squared corner kits like she used to I'm sure I would pick some of them up... especially if she had well designed kits again, such as something from Liz Tamanha... or could you imagine an Everyday Explorers or Geralyn Sy core kit? I would be ALL OVER THAT.

What album did you use? Aw, thanks I think black pages make everything look cooler. The journal is a Dylusions creative journal (I think it was this one, I got it at Michaels, but they may have changed the size since then). TBH it had some issues that would make me hesitate to recommend it. The paper wasn't very forgiving - if you stuck anything down it wasn't coming back up without tearing the paper. And the binding wasn't really designed to handle pasting things in. It got very chunky very fast. If I did it over I would've sliced out every other page before I even started. I cut pages out at the back but the poor thing was bursting and hard to keep closed long before I reached the back. I worried that the binding was going to fail completely. Kind of a strange design to not allow any space in the binding.

The journal is a Dylusions creative journal (I think it was this oneThe paper wasn't very forgiving - if you stuck anything down it wasn't coming back up without tearing the paper. I feel that happens more with black paper journals. Good white paper journals are often ‘polished’ ( for lack of a better word ) to ultra smoothness for smooth writing but maybe that can’t be done with black paper? Then again less people use black paper journals that maybe noone has really tried because it’s not worth the investment? In addition, in the past, pens that show on dark paper were crappy, it’s only in the last several years that manufacturers have invested in decent pens for dark paper. Perhaps dark paper journals will be next now that journals are increasing in popularity all the way around? But yes, the roughness or texture of the black paper is what has made me abandon them in the past. I just bought myself a ‘Kelly creates’ black paper TN at TM. I’m not using it yet so I’ll come back & update wether the paper is nice or not.

Back in the day, Kelly Anderson made fantastic layouts with black cardstock as her base. I loved her work so much!

This thread has moved along very quickly and I have skimmed a lot of what has been posted. But I'm wondering if anyone else saw this confirmation from BH that physical products are no longer being produced???

Does anyone know of any other businesses that make something similar to the PL 12x12 envelope pages? they are sturdy plastic and look like this: I started my kid's school scrapbooks with those for holding memorabilia from the year, but I only have a couple on hand - I would need to make a large order to cover every year for each of my kids, and frankly I am so over Becky that I would prefer to give someone else my $150

I’ve have them since pre PL Ok I went and looked and I have crop in style ones & generations I have no idea if either of those companies still make them? I’m glad you asked becausecwhen I looked I have a crap ton of pages all set up to be scrapped in mine that I didn’t know I had! I don’t use a 12x12 for memorabilia I have these:https://www.amazon.com/Antner-Pockets-Folders-Waterproof-Document/dp/B07QCWV6WJ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=12x12+envelope+for+binders&qid=1560987784&s=gateway&sr=8-2 Would 12x12 totally Tiffany ones work?

I haven’t seen a single set with square corners. Not one. It’s 2019, there’s no current product out there anywhere? I haven't done any kind of smashbook album yet this year but I have a little bag of ephemera collected. Now I'm thinking I might just create my own little journal made of black cardstock for this year's stuff.

Here's the Click cards. I actually really like them! A lady on follow on Instagram just picked this kit up at Tuesday morning. Her picture is not the best but it looks like the sku is 2163742. Hopefully they’ll get all the square corner ones.

But I'm wondering if anyone else saw this confirmation from BH that physical products are no longer being produced??? Not shocking since they have been getting them in by the DOZENS at TM and can't sell through the stock at just $7 each. I've been scouring them for months hoping that they'd eventually get the square kits. It took EVERY BIT OF RESTRAINT not to get both Clicks I found today because I was that excited to finally find one. Since 52 Rad and Snapshots came out around the same time, I'm really hoping that at least those 2 are going to be circulating very soon, too. I don't love Rad, but for squared corners and $7.57 with tax where I am, there is more than enough in 616 cards that I do like. The last 2 square kits are also really nice, but I don't know how 'new' they are to know if hoping for them to show up is reasonable or hoping for too much just yet. Also, the card quality is so much better than the rounded kits I have.

Probably me. I posted the sku in the June TM thread. Goodness I missed your post. Sorry. No problem!! I try to post SKUs as much as I can when I post things I find at TM. The only times I don't is if I have a lot to post and the SKUs are on the back (it turns a lot of photos into a ridiculous amount of photos). Glad you were excited enough to share because that kit made my day. I'm hoping that next week they'll get more square kits. Each of my stores have gotten a couple dozen kits each of the last 2 weeks but this was my first time finding a square one.

I rarely go there but if they have the Click kit for so cheap I would have to pick it up (even though the last thing I need are more cards)! I almost want a second one. I really really really really really really love this kit. It's got a lot of the versatility that the Midnight kit had but SQUARE (did I mention that bit, yet?). The BEST cards are the ones they did 4 instead of 8 with. There are a variety of prompts for food, watching, listening, capturing, etc and both sides are great. So naturally the patterns get 8 while the journaling ones that PLers would use over and over again have 4, lol. I sorted about half for each side (except ones I really didn't like...like I don't care for the few with tan and don't care for the marble much at all) and my 3x4 stack for all of the colors is about 75% the height of the black, grey and white ones. Definitely a neutral and usable kit. The kit is black, white, grey, red, light teal, mustard yellow and tan (the tan is under 1% overall) of the kit. Colors are in order from most to least prevalent.
