I have gotten most of my supplies under control, at least to the point that I can find things easily except for ephemera. It comes in so many sizes. Up until now my trusty PSB worked fine if I purged on occasion. Now that I added ephemera for journals its gotten out of hand. I need a solution that takes up minimal space, is stackable/portable AND is easy to flip through.
My second least favorite to organize is PL cards. I find I won’t use them if I can’t view them easily. Right now they are in pocket pages in binders.
So what is your least favorite item to keep under control?

Ribbon. I've everything else pretty much under control but my ribbon stash is just willy-nilly in two shoe box containers. And I hardly even use ribbon these days.

Not an organizer here, so I hate it ALL! But I do find things easier to sort if they can be sorted by either colour or theme.
I try to keep collections together b/c they work well on a project, but then I don't know where to put the ziplock with the collection in it if it doesn't fit into a season, or activity, or another category like FAMILY or PETS or LITTLE BOYS. And it gets more difficult after I have used my favorite pieces out of that bag: where does it go NOW?

I don’t use ephemera and project life so no I problem there. My box with scrap paper is beginning to overflow. I’ll need to do something with that soon.

I hate the little bits and pieces. If varies on what the actual item is. Things like clips, resin, banners, chipboard...ug. Would finished layouts count? I have a stack of over 50 that need to go into albums and I’m dreading it for some reason.

I got a case that holds several small containers, it's at Ms and one sale for 10 bucks right now! I hate organizing paper...I don't know how! I have 2 stacks on my shelves ok 3 if I count paper pads..I don't know how to organize it yet

Paper and stamps are my worst categories. I used to sell CTMH. My paper stash started out all organized according to the old CTMH "seasons" palette. My stamps were all in containers with CTMH 6x6 envelopes. I had one container for non-CTMH papers, non-CTMH inks, etc. Now, it's been years since I left CTMH, and the old paper stash order just doesn't work (even the CTMH palette has changed). My patterned papers are loosely by manufacturer, but it's a hot mess, really. And I have zillions of stamps that don't fit in 6x6 pouches. The are not in any order at all (my 6x6 pouches do remain in order). Clearly, a massive purge is in order... I'll just be over here with my head in the sand...

For ephemera, I use CTMH medium organizing boxes and clear envelopes. I have decided, however, to stop bringing ephemera into my SBR room because I just don't want to spend my time organizing it and then going through it to scrap.
I don't have anything I really hate dealing with, but just that I have more than I would like. I'm in more of a use it up mode, then add to my stash mode right now.

Paper, especially cardstock. I'm ok with organizing collections, but the various colors/sizes/scraps of cardstock are all over the place. I pull out some colors for a project, can't remember where I pulled it from, so it gets thrown into a pile. Some is stored in iris boxes, others on shelves, some in file boxes, some with card kits. I really need a new system.
I can never understand why others don't like to put their layouts in albums. That's my favorite part!

Embellishments. I have way too many. Most are organized by color, but idk if that really works well. I feel like I should just chuck all of them and start fresh.

Little random bits of ephemera for me as well although I do quite like organising overall.

I avoided ephemera until I found TM. Then i got interested in vintage junk journals so thats a whole new pile to organize. We wont even talk about all the magazine clippings I have loosely sorted into ziplock bags. I am proud of how I organized my stamps after I tripled my stash thanks to AX.

Die cuts and wood veneer (not the packages so much as the ones from kits that are one of a kind).

Photos!
Culling them down from each event, organizing them on my computer, editing them, printing them out in the correct sizes, trying to predict what sizes I'm going to want for a layout I haven't even started to plan, then finding the best deal to actually print them... Ugh. Saps my scrapping mojo right away.

Recently I've acquired more washi tape than I've ever had in the past, so I now have enough that I need to actually - GASP - organize it! When I only had 2-3 rolls of it, I just stacked them on a little tool shelf that stays right on my craft desk. They were always easily accessible. Now that I have too many to fit there, I'll need to figure out a new storage solution. I don't have enough to justify getting one of those large organizers (plus they take up so much space), so I might re-purpose something around the house to store/dispense them.

Organized? 😂
My studio is far from organized but I can generally narrow down what I'm looking for. I've outgrown most of my storage systems and I need to fix that, but I'm too busy making things!

I organize everything anyway so it’s no big deal with scrapping. I actually will reorganize things since I find it relieves stress. I know it sounds weird but at least it’s comstrictive.

Embellishments. Period. I've done all my paper, well most of it, I've always got to add some here and there or make page kits out of it. I'm stuck on embellishments. I have too many and all the different sizes, shapes, thicknesses and myraid of colors is overwhelming. Next would be photos. Everytime I think I have them organized, more appear or someone gives me some or whatever and I'm back to the drawing board!

I have a basket of vinyl that just stands up straight that isn't organized. OP, I did find this organizer in store that was holding little magnets. They were clearancing the magnets and gave me the holder for free. The sticker on the back came right off. It holds maybe 1/3 of my cards, but the others are really specific like travel or boys.

i think for me it's ephemera, too. what i finally did with all the random stuff (clips, bows, rubons, etc.) is sort them by type in iris containers (the big 12x12 ones). i obviously have too much of this type of stuff because i have many containers and most are stuffed to the gills!

Ugh. Saps my scrapping mojo right away. I'm with you too! My photos are such a mess. All my recent years are sorted and mostly scrapped. But when I go back just a few more years into my kids' childhoods, they're a total disaster. They came from several different cameras, were taken by multiple photographers in multiple households, in both digital and film. I thought I had them mostly under control until I was gifted tons more from my mother when she cleaned house. They're a complete mess. I don't remember what I've scrapped, what's a duplicate, and what's still to do.

I really like to organize things. I even sort my M&M's when I open the package. I will have nothing to do about organizing anything that involves people. When I was working I had to do a lot of assigning different people with varied skills to specific tasks at specific times. It wasn't one job, it was up to 20 jobs. I was operations manager of water & fire damage restoration. I'm retired now, so I'll stick to organizing my M&M's.

Have to confess I have trouble with all the above. But I really don't have a handle on the photos on my desk top either. I really to try and put them in specifically named files but there is not enough room to give them a really good name that I recognize the next time I look for them. So many times I go to look to reprint a photo and can't find it.

My problem currently is that I ran out of page protectors and the layouts started stacking up. Now I have page protectors and a looming stack of layouts. I need to sort them by year to add them to the correct album. It’s just a big task now that needs space to spread out in the living room to complete. My sweet puppy loves to be into anything I’m doing which is an added element of difficulty. We’ve got company coming in a week so that’s my push to get them in the right albums!
